A very nice cabin in a great location. Communicating with the host was extremely easy and comfortable. The cabin has a great living room and screened in porch that was perfect for keeping our fishing equipment and prep for each day. Two bedrooms up and one in the basement, with a bathroom on each level. There is a nice patio and upper deck. The location is perfect for moving in and off of the flowage, even with the low water level.

This is one of the best homes we have ever stayed in. Kitchen has everything you need we cooked a lot and never needed anything. Plenty of space for all of us. So many extras, games so much fridge space comfortable beds. Great for fishing! Great space to eat and play games. Thank you for the beautiful home for a family vacation.

Woodsy and spacious cabin with great social spaces and enough bedrooms for our group. WiFi was great to have as a couple of people needed to do some remote work. The kitchen is clean and functional but the upper dishwasher rack is in disrepair. We loved being just off the flowage as we could easily paddle board out to the big water and we also enjoyed a pontoon which we docked conveniently at the property (rented from Johnson’s resort practically next door). Recommend this cottage!

Great stay in Hayward area!

Very nice property. Great location.would stay there again next time we are in Hayward area. Has Direct TV, but would be nice if they would add ESPN to their package.Also could use new coffee pot.

Birkie Weekend 2024

It was a great place to stay for the Birkie. Not too far from all the action, and plenty of space for everyone to get ready to race. Also, the cabin and area were awesome. Thank you!

GREAT Cabin!

This cabin was just as advertised! Renting it for a long weekend fishing trip on the Big Chip. Beautiful finishes, very clean and everything you will need! We’ll definitely be back in the future!

Top notch lakefront house

We've been visiting Hayward for a few years now and this property has been one of our favorites so far. Well appointed, clean, and great communication from the property manager. The lake and surrounding area is beautiful and the property has everything you need to enjoy a proper north woods vacation. Thanks for everything!

Family Boys snowmobile trip

Awesome property. The cabin fit our need perfectly. Only downfall if this even qualifies was getting our trucks and trailers in the driveway. Once in the driveway there was a ton of room. So this was not the properties fault and we would definitely come again.

Thanks for the great feedback. This year's snowfalls have been incredible to say the least. As you can imagine, it's created some challenges on places to put the snow. I'll be sure to ask our plow guy to widen out the driveway a bit next time. Jon

Awesome Property

We stayed at this property New Years weekend for a family getaway. We had three families (10 people) under the roof and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kids had a blast playing darts and even put together a few puzzles. We spent some time snowmobiling but mostly stuck around the cabin and enjoyed us all being together under the same roof. Cabin had everything we needed including extra blankets and pillows for some movie night! Host was awesome and we would defiantly stay here again!

Beauiful Quiet Setting

Cabin is beautiful. Our winter getaway was meant for snowshoeing and cross country skiing but because of the very mild temps and lack of snow, we adjusted plans. We did try some ice fishing with no luck. Had a great time playing games, taking walks, and just family time. Cabin is beautiful and had everything we needed for a nice, relaxing stay. Kitchen was fully stocked with any cooking needs.

Fish Tails Cabin

This cabin was clean and comfortable and accommodated our family of 8 perfectly. It was decorated and cabin style with lots of wood. It was a great location on a channel just off the north east end of the Chippewa Flowage. The kitchen is very well stocked with all that is needed to cook and serve a large family. There is a grill, large fire pit and nice dock that we used for 2 boats. Overall this cabin is a 5/5 stars, the only con is the beds were not terribly comfortable, even the kids thought that. I would recommend bringing padded mattress toppers.

Winter family vacay

We had the absolute best time renting this property! We just wanted to head north for the holidays and disconnect from every day life. This mini vacay made it all happen. The house was absolutely beautiful. There isn't much ice to be found in Wisconsin, and the chippewa flowage delivered! We caught close to 40 fish in 4 days of ice fishing! Mostly on tip ups too! Would love to come back in the summer. The open floor plan of the living room dining room was great! Bunk room worked amazing for the kids. Let's not forget they had boot dryers! Perfect extra for our trip! The bar style dart board was the best, along with being able to bring our dog with us. Amazing place definitely recommended!

Clean property, great communication

We booked our stay a year in advance for our annual snowmobile trip. With no snow, we brought out SXS instead. We had 3 trucks and 3 enclosed trailers. It was a challenge to get into the driveway but once we did, our trucks didn’t move for the weekend. I’m not sure how it would have gone if there was a ton of snow. We loved that we were close to Deerfoot and Johnson’s. We had 7 adults and we all had our own space. We loved the open living room/dining room space. The basement got cold but there were space heaters/fireplace, which worked great. I read a review about updating the coffee pot. The coffee pot was a new 12 cup pot and there was also a kurig. Kitchen was fully stocked. Refrigerator is large as well as extra one in the garage too. Overall, great weekend and great place to stay!
