Island View - Modern holiday home with fabulous indoor outdoor living and spectacular views
Brand new holiday home designed by architect Tim Dorrington, this holiday home offers all the mod-cons of a modern bach but is in a peaceful rural setting. It is nestled into native bush with mature kauri and totara on one side of the property and on the other panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, Mangawhai Harbour, the Hen and Chicken Islands and the sparkling Pacific Ocean.
Enjoy the open plan living with fireplace for winter or bi-fold doors which open up to an outside lounge and covered deck area with flat lawn for the kids to play on.
Despite the rural location, the property is ideally located to reach all the local beaches (check out Te Arai in the height of summer when Mangawhai beach is chocka!) as it is only 12 minutes drive. The shops and cafes at Mangawhai Village are only 5 minutes down the road by car and Mangawhai Heads shops just a few minutes further up the road. Waipu, Waipu Cove and Langs are only 15 minutes up the road.

Great stay in the rolling hills looking out over the island in the distance. Great layout offers nice kitchen, living, dining open area and separate bedroom wing. Perfect size for our family. Designed with clear thought, positioned for great views, highly functional. Had a great time! Thanks.

Phenomenal Location!
Our family absolutely adored our stay at this property. Dave & Steph from Bach Stay were great to deal with! The home had plenty of space for 2 families. Lots of room for entertaining & the views are phenomenal. The house had everything we needed including a couple of great toys for the kiddies & a good selection of DVDs. The bath is breathtaking! Only thing missing is a spa pool! 😉

Beautiful!
I already can't wait to come here again! The property manager was quick to reply to my messages and took the time to meet me in the town centre to pass on information. The place is beautiful with sceneary that you can stare at all day. Warm house, comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen.

Beautiful views, absolute peace in nature. My guests and I loved the location and house it was a perfect spot to unwind and rest. Seamless check in - just easy as a break away should be. Would love to stay again!

Loved staying here
Loved staying here, exactly as per the pictures, clean, spacious, comfortable, great for family, had everything we could want for cooking dinners and breakfasts. Lovely location near Mangawhai for markets, chocolate, food etc. Peaceful and quiet. Having fans in two of the rooms was great and beds were comfortable.

A little slice of Mangawhai Heaven!
Only marked down cleanliness as kitchen surfaces could have been a little cleaner on arrival however this property totally lived up to all expectations - spectacular bush and sea views and a lovely modern home with all the trimmings, a very comfy bed and lovely outdoor living. We'd love to revisit.

This place is so lovely, you almost want to keep it a secret.
