All that you want for your beach holiday is here in this spacious modern holiday home. Some of the best views in Mangawhai greet you as you enter the upper level and there is a large deck for making the most of the vista. Located across the road from the estuary and only a minute or so walk to the surf beach you can leave the car behind.

The house is modern and funky but not pretentious and designed for 2 families to enjoy together or one family to really spread out! With 5 bedrooms, two bathroooms and an extra toilet it caters well to large groups.

You'll struggle to decide which of the beaches to walk to or whether or not you should just open up the massive ranch sliders and just laze around the house and enjoy the spectacular sea views on offer. In the winter there is a large gas fire place to keep things cozy.

Perfect weekend getaway

Staying at this stunning property was an absolute blast! From the moment we arrived we felt at home, relaxed and rejuvenated. The host was super friendly and always just a message away, ready to help with anything we needed. The property manager was a gem too, making us feel right at home.The house itself was stunning—breathtaking views that made our stay magical! It was cozy, kid-friendly, and spotless—hygiene was on point. Honestly, it was one of the best holidays we've had. My family and myself had a great stay. There was everything we needed in the kitchen, the home was very clean and nice and modern, and the location was ideal.

Fantastic!

View from the main lounge and top 2 bedrooms is absolutely gorgeous. House is a short walk to the beach. Fantastic house for our large family group. With 2 x bedrooms downstairs plus 2 bathrooms and separate toilet. We highly recommend the property and would stay there again.

Manawhai group stay

Slice of paradise

Fabulous views & huge sunny deck

We are a group of 5 friends that meet up once a year somewhere in NZ. Mangawhai heads and this property was perfect and exceeded our expectations. Fabulous views, convenient quiet position, huge property that is beautifully appointed, very clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend. Thanks!

Pleasant Stay

Had a lovely weekend stay, everything provided for in clean condition. Only thing to mention, it was quite cold when we arrived and we could have done with some cosy blankets or extra bedding on the beds for the time of year. Property manager Tracy was very helpful. Nice and handy to the beach. Thank you!

Amazing weekend Away at Spits End.

The property is very well maintained and equipped. The views from the lounge/kitchen area are amazing. The location is also very handy with the house only being a 5-minute walk to the beach which has amazing walks, or the supermarket. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

Mangawhai treat

This is second time we’ve rented this property. It’s well situated, close to beaches and very comfortable. Indoor dining table could be bigger (for larger groups) however everything was well appointed and a delight.

Amazing Views

We loved the house. It was comfortable with a lovely kitchen. The open rooms and the deck really brought nature in. Conveniently located next to a beautiful beach and hiking trail.

Clean house with lovely views

My family really enjoyed the house, it was a short walk to the beach and the lounge room had a really nice view. The owner and bach manager welcomed us to the house and were super hospitable. We have nothing bad to say about this experience!

Delightful

My family and I had a lovely weekend. The property had plenty of room for a wide range of age groups. Only a couple of recommendations; the seal on the oven is damaged, frayed and allows the heat to escape (it should be replaced) Bedrooms are great but it would really useful to have a couple of bedside lights in the second bedroom upstairs. However, highly recommended and we would definitely stay again. Thank you.

A few things....

The one thing we would all say, is that there really should be Sky provided / we didn’t realise one had to bring a card, so we didn’t and could get Freeview to work either - it was ok for us but we would have enjoyed the option to watch the rugby! Also, bedside lamps are needed in all the bedrooms and bulbs that work. Also, swimming towels really should be included - it is a beach bach after all!

Close to the beach, spacious home great for groups

We had a lovely stay, the property is spacious and the large deck just perfect for meals and afternoon drinks. Close to the beach which is great. The kitchen is well equipped, great water pressure in the bathrooms and excellent parking for multiple cars.
