Vista Di Cielo is a waterfront home on the Currituck Sound in Kitty Hawk, NC. We have curated a guest suite on the first floor of the home which will be your private oasis during your stay. You'll enjoy the comforts of a master bedroom with a king size bed, ensuite full bath, kitchenette, and a spacious, comfortable sunroom that looks straight out to the water. The spectacular sunsets can be enjoyed on the dock, from the hot tub, or adirondack chairs on the lawn. We are just minutes from Duck!

Amazing time beautiful place

First mom daughter trip. She’s 20 now. Needed a reminder of how to just be for the both of us. This place was perfect, in and out. The views are amazing. The house is quiet and quaint. Might need to come back again.

Perfect weekend getaway!

I was very impressed with this property. The pictures are very accurate but it is even more beautiful in person. We spent quite a bit of time out on the dock having coffee in the morning, drinks in the evening, we used the spa too which was nice and clean. The setting is a wonderful location on the water in a beautiful neighborhood. We came home to deer in the backyard one afternoon. We were torn every night between going out to dinner or just getting takeout and staying here to watch the sunset over the sound! Great location for getting around to all the attractions in the northern Outer Banks. We wish we could have stayed a few more days. Host is great! Check in-out is easy. Just an all around first class rental. Absolutely perfect for a couple wanting to get away for a few days and spend time together. We were there three nights and never turned on the TV. You feel a million miles away from it all at this property.

Lovely getaway in the Outer Banks!

We absolutely loved our stay at Robin's home! The space was quiet, comfortable and perfect for our little romantic getaway. A small thing that may be helpful to note - there's no sink in the bathroom, so you are using the kitchenette sink to wash dishes/brush teeth, etc. Not a bad thing, just something to note. Overall, Robin was quick to communicate, super helpful - we couldn't ask for a better host!

Charming place!

This place was just as described! It was very clean and had everything we needed. Great location. Nice and quiet spot!! Close to a very quiet beach. Restaurants were close. It was a great touch down spot after our days adventure. We loved sitting on the dock, watching the water and all the wildlife and the sunsets were amazing!!! Would stay here again!!

Peaceful

The place was as advertised and more. The sunset was amazing and the location is great. You’re close to kitty hawk with things to do but a quick drive here and you get a break from it all. Very relaxing and clean. The homeowners were lovely and helpful. Definitely will recommend it to others and stay here again!

Peaceful getaway

This property was perfect for our end of year getaway. The property is in a quiet neighborhood, right on the Currituck Sound. Perfect space for two. Comfortable king bed, sunroom with windows looking out to the water. Watch the sunsets from the sunroom, Adirondack chairs around the fire pit or the seating on the dock. Close to great restaurants too! You might even see the eagles, deer or an occasional Kingfisher. We’ll be back!

Beautiful place, such a fun trip!!

We visited for our 5 year anniversary and had such a good time! The views were incredible and the guest house was so cute! We took the kayaks out and built a fire, there was a lot to do to! Also the hosts Robin & Bob we're so welcoming. We definitely hope to visit again soon :)

Beautiful place!

I stayed here for my 27th wedding anniversary and this place was perfect! The sunsets were absolutely gorgeous! Such a peaceful environment with the sound as the backdrop. The owner Robin, was great to work with. Great communication! She sent some awesome recommendations for places to eat and visit. Also, the hot tub definitely was a great way to finish the day to relax! Would definitely visit again!

Heavenly Sunsets ~ Cielo

Three nights at Vista di Cielo was not near enough! Everything about this cottage was perfection! From the inside to the outside there was nothing more you could ask for. It was located directly on the sound, with spectacular sunsets, short drive to Hillcrest beach access, surrounded by abundant wildlife, decorated as if in a magazine, and supplied with anything you could possibly need or want. Robin was amazing to work with. She was always quick to respond. OBX is a long distance drive for us, but if we ever visit the Outer Banks again the Vista di Cielo is definitely where we will stay!

Little Piece of Paradise

My husband and I stayed here for an anniversary weekend get away and it was absolutely amazing! We were able to watch the beautiful sunset, enjoy the wonderful hot tub, and even got to enjoy watching Eagles fly around all while sitting on the private dock. We couldn't have found a better place to stay than at the Vista Di Cielo. We highly recommend this gorgeous place!

Perfect waterfront escape

My husband and I had a wonderful first experience in the Outer Banks due in large part to this property. Hidden in the woods yet still close to all conveniences. Even though the space is “shared” the guest suite has plenty of privacy and a very comfortable bed. Everything was clean and tastefully decorated. Communication with the owners was easy. They provided plenty of good recommendations and we shared a nice chat with them during an incredible sunset. The beach pass and hot tub were great perks. I could have spent all day watching the herons and bald eagles in the backyard. Highly recommend this little slice of heaven.

Great Stay!

This was our first time visiting OBX. Having Vista Di Cielo as our home base was wonderful. Situated in a quiet, beautifully wooded yet central section of OBX, the property, apartment and all of the amenities Robin offered were lovely. The views of the sound from the sunroom, yard and dock were gorgeous whether one was drinking a cup of coffee and listening to the birds sing in the morning or having a glass of wine and watching the sunset. We also appreciated that Robin was an excellent communicator with us. The apartment was very clean and had plenty of space for two people. Although we didn't take advantage of the bikes or hot tub as it was very hot when we stayed, they all looked to be in excellent shape. We did, however, take full advantage of the beach chairs and parking pass as the association beach is a very short drive away. The property is also a quick drive to the many restaurants in Duck and Kitty Hawk. This apartment would be great in any season. We would love to go back. I would highly recommend Vista Di Cielo.

Hanging out in the Curricut Sound

Wonderful location right on the sound and very serene. Robin was very easy to communicate with. In addition she was very resourceful & helpful about the area. The guest quarters are very well stocked and decorated attractively. The unit was very clean and and the bed was quite comfortable. We found the bathroom/kitchen arrangement a little awkward for our use. One of us is an early riser one not so much. It is all in the bedroom(tub & toilet in separate room). Kitchen coffee pot & sink in bedroom. Location was perfect to numerous other locations. Would recommend Arts Place in Kitty Hawk for breakfast, Aqua in Duck for an exceptional dinner, & Tommy’s Gourmet Market & Deli just north of Duck for great sandwiches. Would not hesitate to recommend Robin & Bobs place to stay.

A great location for our time away.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for the two of us who were kid-free for a week and wanted to get away for a few days. The property was a great location to stay there and get take out, or a quick drive to restaurants and the beach. Robin gave some excellent recommendations and Bob made sure we felt welcomed. Couldn’t have asked for more.

the stay was very nice. It was out first time in the Outer Banks. The location is great and is easy access to the beach, shopping, and food. The property is beautiful and well maintained. We did not see or meet the host, but she was very easy to communicate with. If you are planning to spend most of your day out of the house, and just come back to relax at night and sleep, it is a great house to rent.

A perfect parent getaway. Of all the VRBOs we have stayed in we never had an owner send a us a list of their favorite restaurants in advance!! It was so helpful because we actually got reservations this time!!! Thank you for giving us the perfect getaway week. Your home was perfect and clean and fun. WE WILL BE BACK!!!!

Relaxing comfort

The views and sunsets don’t disappoint! Osprey, deer, bald eagles all put on a show! The hosts are so kind and easy to communicate with. Be prepared to snack or eat out as kitchen and fridge are tiny. Recommendations for restaurants were EXCELLENT!

Relaxing Spot

Great place. Has everything you can ask for. Beautiful view of the sound. Not to far from Hatteras or Corolla. Easy access to the local beach. Owners pleasant to deal with. Highly recommended.
