Spend your days relaxing on the large screened in porch, complete with ceiling fan and beautiful view. Or go fishing and crabbing or swimming right off the dock in your own backyard. There is a retractable dock ladder for easy access. Rent or bring your own water toys and enjoy the calm harbor waters kayaking or paddle boarding. Rinse off in the outside shower and end the day grilling local seafood or your favorite entrée on the gas grill. Then enjoy the meal from the patio with picnic table while watching the sun go down and the boats gently cruising by.
The Space:
This recently renovated 2 bedroom , 1.5 bath cottage is located on a quiet street in the gated community of Colington Harbor.
The property’s interior has a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher. There is a washer/dryer, two queen bedrooms (one with attached half bath) and queen sleep sofa in the living room. Mini split A/C units and ceiling fan in each room allows for individual comfort levels. Both bedrooms and the living room have Smart TV’s. October through mid-April cozy up in front of the gas fireplace. And of course everyone's favorite - a big screened in back porch and outside shower.
We are small dog friendly! For an additional nightly cost you are welcome to bring one dog under 20lbs to share in your vacation. The yard is not fenced in. Please keep your dog on a leash when not in the home to keep your pet safe and neighbors happy. Please also clean up after your pet.
Community amenities include the beautiful sound side park with sandy beach area, playground, shaded picnic area and dog park. The community pool is not included with the rental of this property. There is also a fenced in basketball court just before you turn onto our street.
Important things to note:
Cottage Owners dock their boat on the pier lift. The owners reserve the right to access the pier for purposes of using their boat, via the adjoining property. The boat and lift are private property, Not included with the rental of the home. The rest of the beautiful dock, slip, and kayak dock are for guest enjoyment. The kayak dock also has a retractable ladder for easy water access. If you would like to bring your boat, a launch pass can be purchased at the Colington Harbor Office for a fee of $10 per day or $25 for the week. The office # is (252) 441-5886, 9 -5 Monday – Friday. The launch pass can also be purchased at the gate - cash only.

2 bath towels and 1wash cloth per person, bed linens, one hand towel per bathroom and kitchen linens are provided, (beach towels are Not).
Basic spices, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, coffee filters, cleaning supplies, hand soap, laundry detergent and starter package of paper towels and toilet paper are provided
