Ce Cozy Cottage par la mer va voler votre coeur et calmer votre âme.

Breezes doux est familiale et en plein cœur de canard. Pourvu est tout ce qu'il faut pour avoir un moment de détente à la plage. Il est à quelques pas de la plage dans un quartier calme .. Il y a une cuisine entièrement équipée, une enveloppe autour du pont, meubles de jardin, jouets pour le sable, parasol, et des chaises de sable. Il y a la télévision par câble, d'une télévision à écran plat de 42 pouces, une petite télévision avec lecteur DVD et Internet haute vitesse. L'invention concerne un gril à charbon, laveuse sécheuse et deux réfrigérateurs, micro-ondes et un café Keurig font ainsi qu'une machine à café régulier .. Les chambres ont deux lits queen, un lit gigogne, (2 lits jumeaux) et un lit avec une couchette au-dessus. Draps et serviettes sont fournis. Il y a un lot ouvert sur le côté du pont de notre maison et personne derrière nous faire pour plus d'intimité.

Enjoyed our stay

We stayed at this cozy place July 7 - 13th, we had a great time. We travel to the OBX during the summer for years, first time we stayed in Duck and we loved it. It’s a short walk to the beach and the surrounding stores. The house was very clean and cozy. We really enjoyed the house and will definitely be back. Thank you.

Great Stay

The photos don't do it justice. The house was great for our small family and dog. It was lovely to be able to walk to the beach or into Duck. The kitchen had what we needed and it was easy to clean up outside after visiting the beach. We are looking forward to coming back next Summer.

Had a great time at gentle breezes. Close to the beach and to run to town without having to drive. Could walk the dogs in the morning on the beach while it was still cool and then spend all day with the family in the waves. Definitely would recommend

Our stay was great. The host was easy to contact and a pleasure to communicate with. The house perfect for a cozy stay with 4 bedrooms an open floor plan for the kitchen, living room areas. It was just a few minutes to walk to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and cookware, beds comfortable and outdoor deck with picnic tables and seating. We loved watching the birds out back and saw a deer and some rabbits in the yard. It was a few minutes to drive to the boardwalk and restaurants. I would stay here again.

Very nice location

We loved our stay here! The neighborhood is quiet, clean, relaxing and a very short easy walk to the beach. Little to no traffic. The home was very clean and cozy. We had everything we needed for the week. We would definitely stay here again!

Always a pleasure

This was our second year booking this stay. Wonderful as always very relaxing perfect spot 5 minute walk to the beach in the middle of duck where you can ride your bikes to town.

First Family Trip to OBX

The house was perfect for our family! We enjoyed the closeness to the beach access and the town of Duck, Kitty Hawk, Nags Head and Corolla for all things we needed or could ever want! The host was very helpful with information on things around the area and happenings with the ocean rip currents! Would absolutely stay again and would recommend to family and friends!

Family getaway.

Great location! Easy walk to the beach and Duck. Kitchen was nicely stocked! Two refrigerators a plus. Property does need some work. Understand owners are planning both inside and outside updates this year. Would consider renting this property again.

First timers in OBX

The Gentle Breezes home was a great property for our family of four and dog. The house is on the older side yet in very clean and quaint inside. The outside decks super comfortable and convenient for drying beach items. The walk to the beach was easy and safe as well as the walk to the cute waterfront shops of Duck. The bugs were the only negative of the area. Lots of flies everywhere! Overall it was a great first experience in the Outer Banks and would come back.

Adorable Beach Cottage

This house is one of our favorite beach cottages. It was by far the cleanest house. Our family of 4 had plenty of space to unplug and relax, and our growing boys appreciated their own bedrooms. It was a short walk to the beach, and a short ride to the stores in town.

Cute home wonderful time!

The home was lovely. Very cute and cozy beach vibes. The pictures don’t do it justice. The walk to the beach was at most 5 mins and it’s just a straight shot off a walk way. Super easy! The communication was fantastic there were notes and instructions for appliances all around the house. It was just what we needed for an easy little get away no hassle. And super beach friendly for my dog too! Also my father is vision impaired and it was very easy for him to navigate the lay out of the house.

Affordable and great location

Just about a block away from the beach in a quiet neighborhood and some excellent restaurants a short drive away. Pet friendly. Definitely will save this listing for my next visit to the OBX

It’s a cute house! Conveniently close to the beach!

We stayed here for a week. Absolutely adorable house! It’s a 5 minute walk to the beach. Nice size deck for sitting, really liked the outside shower for after the beach! We really liked this place! All the bad reviews I don’t understand it was perfect for our family of 6 and our dog!

Great stay for the week

We had a great and comfortable stay with friends. The kitchen was well supplied, multiple beds, nice big outdoor deck to eat dinner and location was a 5 minute walk to the beach. It was everything we needed and loved the close location to local restaurants.

My husband and I are self employed and have lived in Currituck for 25 years. I am the Director of the Currituck SPCA and he has a contract with the State Department and travels all over the world. treating drinking water in American Embassies. We bought the house as an investment and fell in love with it and Duck. We have 2 sons and 6 grandchildren that we have made many wonderful memories with at the beach. We hope that you can do the same.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Our location in the Town of Duck is its best attribute. It is a 5 minute walk to the ocean . It does not have an ocean view but is located on the ocean side and you can certainly hear the ocean. You can walk to all the downtown shops and restaurants. Duck is very kid and fur baby friendly. Some of its restaurants are the best in the Outer Banks. It is a 20 minute drive to Corolla where there are more things to do and places to eat. The Infamous wild horses can be seen there on the 4 wheel drive parts or the northern beaches. The Historic Currituck Lighthouse is there which you can climb to the top of for a beautiful view. Last but not least we have a family of deer that like to hang out behind the house. They look forward to seeing your friendly faces.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We prefer Sunday to Sunday checkout where the traffic is not as heavy.
Lots of privacy because of the size of the lot .
Close to everything including it being 1 hour from Hatteras.
Duck has a one mile long boardwalk, within walking distance from the house, along the Albemarle Sound where you can access shops and restaurants while you are taking in all the wildlife that calls its home there. Sunsets are spectacular from there. Duck Donuts is accessible from the boardwalk as is the park where there is something going on most of the Spring , Summer, and Fall. Checkout the Town of Duck Facebook page or its website for listing of events as well as the weather and conditions of the ocean. Duck is very pet friendly and kid friendly. There are a couple of rental places in Duck where you can rent most items you might need, as in bikes, kayaks, umbrellas and chairs. There are sidewalks, bike paths, and crosswalks for your safety.
