Lovely, well-kept house in quiet location, with great outside area, including barbecue area and pool. Good starting point to discover the area - We especially loved our visits to Gourdon (walking the Paradise Path) and St Tropez. We tried several restaurants in the village and enjoyed the outdoor eating.
We spent 10 days in this very beautifull villa. everything was perfect and it is fully equiped. The pool is big and with the sun all day long. It's not easy to reach the house and a bit too far from the see, it takes at least 30/40 minutes.
But when you are there you feel very good, expecially in the night there is an absolute silence.
Our family of four, including two grown-up children, stayed at the villa early August 2017, and we enjoyed it thoroughly. We experienced excellent communication was with the property manager. All questions were answered timely, a lot of useful information was provided and convenient check-in arrangements were made. Owners Peter and Cristina met us at the property when we arrived and proved very helpful. The villa and its surroundings are truly beautifully laid out, the pool is nice and large enough for a bit of a swim. The house is cool, quiet and comfortable, while the garden is green and well maintained, offering great views of the surrounding mountains. The combination of a fairly tradional exterior with the modern interior and amenities makes it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings and the region. The villa is quite spacious with plenty of room for clothes, personal items, etc. The kitchen is well equipped, although we did not use it much. Several terraces make it easy to always find the ideal spot for leisurely breakfast or evening cocktails. WiFi worked great. All together this proved to be a great choice of vacation property.
We stayed a week (22-29 July) in Peter and Cristinaâs lovely provencal villa with our 3 children and 2 of their friends. The villa is spacious and comfortable, but the main âassetâ of the property is the brand new and very private swimming pool. We also had lovely walks along the river which runs next to the property and even swam in it. The patio with dinning area and BBQ was also very much appreciated during to long and warm evenings. The village centre is a 10 minutes (steep!) walk, but offers some nice restaurants. Itâs only half an hours drive to the beaches of Antibes, Cannes and Nice and the mountains of the southern Alps basically start in Bar sur Loup, offering wonderful walking and cycling opportunities.
We really loved our stay here, it offers the best of the Provence and Cote dâAzure. A tranquil environment with the vibrancy of the Cote dâAzure at your fingertips.
Purbo and family - The Netherlands
We spent 9 days in this property for our summer holidays with my mother in law and my stepsons and we had a good time. The house is really pretty and functional,we enjoyed late breakfast, mornings by the pool and barbecue lunches before head off every afternoon to see the towns around the area, the house is a little remote and you need a good sat nav to find your way but after one day you start to get the area. The house managers,Veronique and Amed were kind and helpful, despite my lack of french we managed to communicate and we got given tips where to go and we weren't disappointed by their recommendations. They only thing I would suggest for one of the room is to provide a double bed instead than a single bed, my 15 year old tall stepson wasn't very impressed the first night, and maybe put a closet and second bedside table in the first room downstairs. We did enjoy our stay and I am happy to recommend this place for future renters for their family holidays. The owner has always been in touch via email and I can't fault that, I am happy to have made good memories in this pretty french cottage.
We stayed at Peter and Cristina's lovely villa in July 2014 with our two teenage children. The house, gardens and pool were beautiful with lots of different outside seating areas. The covered patio was a lovely place to eat and we cooked outside nearly every day. The house was well equipped - including WiFi which mattered hugely to the kids - there was also a selection of books, music and DVDs which added a personal touch. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful and Le Bar is pretty village with an excellent restuarant (Le Donjon). Good (if hot) walks from nearby and easy to get to Nice, Cannes, Monaco etc - we could have spent at least another two weeks exploring the area.
We had a wonderful holiday in this spacious and luxurious villa.
Peter and Cristina made us feel at home instantly and the kids explored the surroundings and loved the swimming pool. The environment is reallly relaxing: beautiful nature, rivers and villages. The beaches are only 45 minutes away, as are the well known places like Nice and Cannes. The villa offers everything you need for a lovely holiday in the south of France!
We stayed here in July 2013. The house is tastefully decorated with a large open plan living, kitchen and dining area, a great master bedroom with en-suite and 3 other double bedrooms. The barbeque area is great with lovely views of the surrounding area. The pool area is private and very relaxing. There is plenty to see and do close by and easy to get to from Nice Airport. We especially enjoyed visiting St Paul de Vence and the perfume factory in Grasse. Great walking areas too. We will definitely go back!

We are a Dutch family, living and working in the South of France. We spent our summer holidays elsewhere, reason we rent out our beautiful villa during the summer months.
