Property was clean, pool a 2 minute walk from the rental, and beach access a short drive. Details can be confusing regarding the amenity card for the island, but if you donât plan on using the pool or pelicans nest restaurants, I wouldnât worry about it.
Great location on the island. Easy drive to several boardwalks for beach access, community pool is a 2 minute walk from the condo. Unit was very clean, and no requirements for cleaning prior to departure kept things simple. I wouldnât recommend the amenity card for the island unless you really want access to places like the beachfront club/ restaurants. I would absolutely stay again.
Overall we loved the location and the house had everything we needed. It was great for our family of 4. We had no issues. Wish the house was a tad cooler downstairs in the bigger bedroom at night for sleeping but we also understand Summer is difficult to keep houses cool. Thank you for having us!
This could be a lovely rental. It is spacious, lovely setting and bright. However, it needs to be updated. The management told us that the week after we leave they are putting in new rugs and furniture but that didnât help us any.
We thought the home was perfect. Secluded location. Private community pool. Great sunroom and outdoor deck areas. You can tell the owner is doing renovations as the downstairs bathroom was renovated. Kitchen could use updating as well as the rugs but these are just minor things. The AC needs balanced! The upstairs bedroom is freezing. Probably given proximity to the inside ac blower? We would still stay here again. Resident neighbors all very friendly!
This is our second year staying here and like last year everything was clean, beds are comfortable. Updated bathroom was a nice extra. Planning on staying here again next year! Thanks for a wonderful relaxing vacation!
After many years of renting pleasurably at Seabrook, this was the worst. Condo worn, sad, tired, needs to be refreshed, refurnished, updated. Not welcoming when blinds are broken, old sofas covered with slip covers, outlets inoperable, screen door to porch fell off in my hands, Dishes chipped, did not match, no wine glasses, no cork screw or measuring cups, no bathroom sink stopper, towel racks didnât match and looked as owner just doesnât care, old tub very slippery with no grab bars, etcâŠlooks like owner furnished from attic or thrift store. Certainly not uplifting for almost $400 per night with fees. My husband just died, I was desperate for a positive experience, but did not get it. Never again.
It was the cheapest place on Seabrook, so was not expecting anything fancy, but a working toilet, bathroom sink, refrigerator, and washing machine would have been nice. We reached out and maintenance never came out when we needed them, so we left early. Place was relatively clean except carpets on stairway needed washing.
The condo was very nice and there was plenty of room for a family of 6. A deer was out in the marsh one day. We drove to a few of the beach access points and the beaches were not crowded which was great. The grounds of the Seabrook Island community are gorgeous. We did not pay for a pool pass and it was a bit tricky to find out where to go to get one. Thereâs a building near the gate entrance where you can purchase the pass. We enjoyed the nearby Freshfields Village for shopping and getting ice cream. Also, the famous Angel Oak tree is about 10 minutes away and that is amazing.
