We have stayed at this house the last 3 summers. We love it; it works well for our small group. We had some difficulty with communication at first since all communications had to go through email not phone, so a lag in response due to email delivery. Previous visits there was someone onsite to respond to our calls. However, we were able to get everything taken care of satisfactorily.
Very nice cabin right on the river. Clean and well decorated. Only issue was code to open door wouldnât work but property manager quickly resolved the issue.
Location, location, location!! This cabin was absolutely perfect and being on the river was so tranquil and relaxing!! We had a wonderful stay and would love to visit this cabin again. We love Estes Park and have been enjoying it for decades!! Many more to come!
Been VRBOâing since 2018- this one is our FAV!!!
We are traveling in CO for about 2 weeks, and we are at our last place (4th). NOTHING compares to Blue Spruce Village. This home- NOT ONE detail was overlooked. For us- the beds are usually the most important. All 6 of us agreed, THE best beds since we have been traveling since 2018. We wanted the mattress info and even the linens were divine! We all slept w our windows opened and listened to the river - fresh air, cool breezes, no sound machine needed - didnât wake ONCE. Not exaggerating, best sleep of my life. The deck of the primary bedroom over looking river - LOVED. Huge porch below w rocking chairs, couldnât get enough! Even huge male elk sat most day across river from us! Loved the kitchen - better stocked than mine at home. 3 baths was great for 6 of us. LOVED huge dining table. Living room was lovely for hanging out, w door open to ALWAYS hear river. Grill was BRAND NEW and great for grilling w big picnic table. Truly the most relaxing VRBO⊠even w road on the other side of river, canât hear the traffic or really see it w the big beautiful trees. So many sweet touches - travel sizes of bathroom amenities even! Stayed for 4 days, but wish we would have stayed at least a week! We went to RMNP twice, BackBone Adventures 4 utvâing on Switzerland Trail, Aerial Tramway & hiked on top & feed chipmunks peanuts, BEST BBQ at Smokinâ Dave, Stanley Hotel tour, walked downtown several times, Fun City, pedicures by river at Enchanted Spa. We will be back!
This property is very close to RMNP and Estes Park. It is very convenient but also quiet and tucked away. The view of the river from the home is incredible. You can open the doors and hear the water rushing by. The house is cozy and comfortable with everything you need for a great stay. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and dining room were spacious. The only downsides: The tv in the living room is small and there were hiccups with the management company. Our door code did not work when we arrived, and we had to call multiple times for supplies which was not a smooth process. But, overall, the property itself was great.
All was as advertised. This was a great house to stay in. Lots of wildlife close by... including a mink on the river, American Dippers putting on a daily show, and plenty of brown trout.
Our stay here was perfect! Our little family was in desperate need of a relaxing getaway and this home did not disappoint. It was comfortable, homey, clean and had everything we needed and more. Plenty of space for our party of 8. We very much enjoyed the back deck, taking in the gorgeous scenery while relaxing in the rockers and cozying up to the fireplace inside after a day of fishing. Thank you so much for a perfect stay!
The property was in a great location and was stocked with everything you could need. Heather was quick to communicate and we had zero issues. We would stay again for sure.
This is a well-cared for home literally feet from a mountain stream and only minutes from downtown Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. My husband and I enjoyed relaxing on the back porch after our days spent hiking. We highly recommend!
Perfect! The home was beautiful and fit all it needs! Loved being so close to the river to hear it everyone was so wonderful!!! Canât wait to come back!!
We have stayed here the last two years. It is the perfect size for our group to stay. Nice on the water. Nicely equipped kitchen and good supply of everyday items. Near a shuttle stop pick up which makes it nice getting back and forth to downtown and other attractions. Near YMCA to take advantage of their trails and activities.
This property is more amazing than the photos show. It goes beyond expectations.
It gave us a great relaxing long wedding weekend to catch the wildlife & beautiful nature of the park.
The view of the river was gorgeous from the back porch and so nice to sit and relax after a long day hiking in Estes Park. Quick drive to town and grocery store.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We will definitely be back.
Great place to stay, right on the river. Our family had the best time hanging out on the back patio, listening to the river. We grilled out, enjoyed the family games and puzzles, and the beds were very comfortable.
We loved our stay in this house. It is right on the river, with both a porch and a balcony overlooking the river! The kitchen is well stocked - everything was wonderful!!! We hope to be back!!!
This was our second time staying here and both times our stay was great: home was clean, kitchen well stocked, bed and bedding both comfortable. There was an issue with the fireplace, but management was responsive and timely. Overall, great home close to Rocky Mountain National Park.
We loved our stay at Rivers Edge...everything we needed for our family of four. The kitchen had everything we needed for lots of cooking and eating in, and the large dining table was a plus. We had a hard time keeping the downstairs warm enough, but the ample supply of blankets and the fireplace made it right. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your space!
Had a great visit to Estes Park. Really enjoyed the home, plenty of room, very clean, good quality furnishings and very close to the river! Left the bedroom window open enough to hear the sound of the rolling river during the night... can't get that at home in Indiana! Bonus was having a 1,200 pound elk sitting on the neighbors doorstep when we returned from dinner. Have never been that close to an elk before, very nice!
We absolutely loved our stay at this property! Sound of the river right off the front porch was magical. One small recommendation would be to provide a crockpotâŠ.we made chili one day and couldâve used one. But everything else was provided!!! Definitely recommend!!!!â€ïž
