Great View, right on the beach. We didn't have warm/hot water for an entire day and night of our trip. A man finally came around 8pm and got the water heater started. It took all night for it to heat the water for showers. We missed dinner plans, which was a bummer. He told me we would get a credit for the inconvenience and then ghosted me.

Musty moldy infested with ants. Loud all day long. Grand Central Station.

Disappointed that this was our family vacation for the year. House had significant mold. the back bedroom being so musty we couldn’t use it. Visible mold in the bathroom next to the master. Do not leave any food out even for a second ants were all over the kitchen counter. Other properties block off public beach access. Not this place hundreds of people walking down our driveway, and along the side of the house, talking and yelling and laughing all day long. I tried to read a book on the back patio, but was interrupted every couple minutes. had grown men hitting on my 13 and 15 year-old daughters from the porch walking through our property and asking if they were 21 yet. The master bedroom would have ocean views if the blinds worked we could not open them. the windows have broken seals where you can see water damage and mold growing. There are no beach towels provided so you need to pack your own beach towels. Last night of our trip and we had drunk people shining their flashlights at midnight at our windows, screaming, and laughing walking around our property.. not happy that I had to drive home 11 hours on only five hours of sleep. Would love a partial refund as this home is not what it appears furnished sun deck was a joke.

DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY

House was not cleaned. Floors were dirty with no broom to clean them. Dead bugs were killed on the wall in the kitchen. Bathroom floor between the bedrooms has title loose. No pillows for pull out couch. Bed sheets were visibly dirty with reddish brown stains and never rcvd the clean sheets we requested. Living room furniture is broke down. The furniture looks and smells like it was in a boys frat house. The stairs in the living room to the loaf are not ment to be used by grown adults, it looks and feels like it's going to fall apart. The beds are terrible. The bedroom looking out the beach has blinds that are broken and they won't close all the way so there is no privacy and it also makes it impossible to cool that room off during the day. Also this is listed and used as a public access point. From 5am-11pm expect a LOT of traffic. People pull their vehicles in and unpack and walk under the house, around your cars and even like to sit and take a break on the picnic table outside, under the house. One of my daughters new buccees toys was stolen after she dropped it from the balcony, when we went down to get it 30 minutes later someone had already snatched it. The stand alone shower needs to be replaced the patch job looks gross. There is not a tv in the room with the two twin beds like it’s listed. Do yourself and your family a favor and stay somewhere else. There are so many problems with this house, yes it is ON the beach but it’s not worth what they are charging.

Let me start by saying the place was cute and clean and perfectly placed on the beach with no crowd. It was a good size for our family but it was very dated and has been very patch job type fixes. Tiles cracked in the bathroom that crunch with each step, bathtub feels like it will fall through the ceiling and the air to the master never got cooled down. With the amount of sand that comes with the beach a $5 broom would be a great thing to at least provide. This place was great for our first time but we have learned a little with this stay that we prefer a place with back access steps for the beach, lights that work for under porch, and a place that everyone across the street is using our driveway for their beach access and shoe drop off. We did have an issue the last night with my car alarm going off in the middle of night so I think people being close to our house constantly had something to do with that

 all and all it was a great trip and great location if you don’t want to fight crowds or cross the street just know it’s dated

Long weekend getaway!

Myself, mom, and 2 kids had plenty of room in this cozy beach house. It was very clean upon arrival. It is an older home and could use some updating and improvements but was just fine for our long weekend! One thing that I believe would improve the property would be a walkway to the dune or beach from the back of the house!

Great Location-Just Okay House

The good: The house has a great location. It is close to town and it is right on the beach. It has a deck. The bad: This house is extremely dated and could use repairs. While I didn't think that would be a problem, it was. Broken tiles/caulking in the bathroom cut my foot, the spiral staircase is very narrow and the hand rail is PVC pipe that is not at all stable, the carpet has stains, the sliding glass window in the bedroom has no way of closing the blinds as the mechanism is broken, one of the beds had come apart and we had to fix it, the living room ceiling fan light doesn't really work. There are no blankets- just a comforter and sheet on each bed. The beds are in extreme need of new mattresses. The kitchen is one of the best stocked we've seen as far as dishes go. However as a word of caution- there is absolutely nothing in the way of pantry staples- We are used to at least some salt and pepper- be sure to bring your own. There were no coffee filters. We are used to receiving directions as far as what our obligations are prior to leaving and I assume you don't have to do anything as I couldn't find any information about that anywhere. In the future, we will book at a different house.

Purple Paradise

Loved this little cottage by the sea. It was clean when we arrived - we didn't need to contact anyone for anything. It was just what we wanted and I hope to stay there again.

Good family trip with a few issues

Overall, we enjoyed our stay but had a few issues that will keep us from renting this house again. Received message 4 days prior to travel that there was an issue with fridge and that fridge would be repaired on day we were to arrive. Also stated would take 12hrs to cool. It took 48 hrs to get cold. Had to keep meat in freezer to keep from spoiling. The property is used for beach access. People walking through the property next to cars, where we were cooking to access the beach. I reached to Vacasa on day one with no help on this. During our 6 day stay had hundreds of people walking through day and night. Zero privacy! The built-in blind in the master bedroom is broken open. Didn’t get to sleep in due to 0500 sun shining into room. I noted this in a previous comment but hasn’t been repaired. Upper outlets in the room 2 do not work.

The house was perfect for our family of 8 for a week vacation. That is until we got “relocated” on a whim because Vacasa failed to reach out to us to let us know the home was UNSAFE to be in due to electrical issues.

Great location, beautiful place, major electrical issues.

I would rate this place 5 stars if it was not for the substantial electrical issues. Areas of the home would lose power for periods of time, weird power surges would start happening when running appliances. We went a few hours without power at one point after using the stove. If the electrical issues were addressed, I would book this place again, but I would not stay there again as is. Location is great. Place is clean and beautiful. Perfect for a family with kids when the wiring is fixed.

Overall the house was nice and right on the beach. There were more than enough beds but not comfortable at all. The lighting in the house flickered a lot. Could not use bathroom light and kitchen light at the same time. The home is older so may need some wiring updated. The TV’s did not work upstairs. There was a dvd player but no cable to connect to tv. The shades in the patio door in the main bedroom had shades build in and one side would not close completely.Our kids had their phones and iPad and watched them. We stayed on the beach mainly, so our stay was nice. It rained the first day bad and the wind was horrible. I thought the home was very shaky and it scared my kids along we my spouse and I.

Have you ever watched the movie Summer Rental with John Candy? This house is just like that..pretty much that vintage vibe with people walking through the property all hours of the day. If you want to get to know your neighbors and everyone within walking distance this is the house for you. House was cozy and clean but could definitely use some updating. Beds are very hard and uncomfortable and broken. Living room was cozy and able to relax in. Does have a gorgeous view of the ocean! Vacasa was great and reached out to us- garbage was never taken out even when everyone elses was. Wind threw it all over and I had to clean it up! Gross

Great, quick getaway

The property was perfect for what we were looking for, a quick spring break getaway. The house was the perfect size for us. Was great to be able to wake up to the beach view each morning. Could be updated slightly but overall was great for price.

Cute little older beach home

Beach is right out the back door! Great location! The beds are in desperate/immediate need of replacement. If you aren't worried about sleep then its a great place to stay! The beach being so close made up for lack of sleep, but wouldn't stay again based on the beds being so worn.

Perfect little getaway

Loved the house and the location! Right on the beach and hardly anyone around so it was very relaxing. Had all the amenities we needed and it was nice to have the washer and dryer. (Pack less clothes)
