The location of this house is fantastic. Right on the beach and a nice covered porch to sit out on. We enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for our family of 9. Would have been 5 stars but there are some repairs that need to be made to the front door.
This house on the beach is great! We enjoyed our stay. Itâs had everything we needed to be comfortable. It was full but comfortable with the four small families we filled this house with. The beach is excellent. and neighbors are good too. There are a handful of small improvements that could be made. This is a very good three star, border line 4 star house in my opinion.
We loved the location of house. If you want to enjoy the beach and the ocean, itâs perfect. We loved the covered porch too. The house itself needs updates and definitely wasnât fancy, but served our purposes. The bunk room is crammed, but our kids didnât mind. The other bedrooms were fine and the 2 bathrooms were tiny but nice. Plenty of places to sit both inside and out! We enjoyed our stay.
This property was located right on the beach for easy ocean access. The rooms were very spacious and the bunk room was perfect for all the kids we had. One thing we did not like was that the door locks every time it closes. We had to put in a code every single time to get inside. There has to be a better system. Other than that, we had no complaints. There is plenty of fun to be had right iut the back door on the beach and there are tons of fun things to do within 10 miles of the house. We would definitely stay in this house again :)We had to put in the long code everyTi
The house was clean and very practical. Excellent for 2-3 families, IMO. The amenities were very good. The access to the beach was fabulous and driving to Gulf Shores central area was about three minutes. We loved it and would highly recommend this place.

Great location for our group of 7. Very quiet and beach was not crowded in our area. Enjoyed the spacious house with full size washer and dryer. Plenty of towels and hot water.
Reservation process location and property were great. Some small issues, no condiments, blinds on right side living room dont work, sink in master ensuite seems clog.
This house was located relatively close to all the activity in town and being right on the ocean has phenomenal views. We found it to be in a safe neighborhood and was relatively clean. This property does need some maintenance. Several issues were reported to the property management company; unfortunately, many of them were not appropriate to address during our stay. As an example, the refrigerator had shelves held together with tape and its drawers were cracked and broken making them difficult to open. The cushions on the porch furniture were dingy so, we chose not to use most of them. The house gives "party house" vibes, which varied from our family's expectations. If you are looking for a well-maintained, pristine property, you may want to research other locations. If you are looking to enjoy the beach, hang out around town/sightsee, and can overlook maintenance issues, this property is a good value.
We loved the location on the beach and a short walk down to the ocean.
The house was very roomy and larger that it appears from the outside. With connecting bath and bedrooms it was convenient. Only one bedroom did not connect, the one with bunk beds. The drive-in parking area was very tight, so only one of our vehicles was narrow enough to be pulled up under the house. But there is parking enough for more vehicles in the driveway.
The location of this property is amazing! Steps from the beach. We visited Gulf Shores for a family spring break. There were 6 adults and 4 kids. The double bunk bed room was perfect for the kids. The house was clean, but could use some updating. The house was stocked with kitchen utensils, pans, etc. however didn't have some of the common items I typically find in these homes such as salt, pepper, coffee filters, etc. Overall we had an great stay!
View from the porch is amazing. Thereâs a few cosmetic things to fix. Paint peeling, chips flaky off. A couple of structural fixes. The floor by the couch is spongy and the eave out front is coming apart. Itâs very clean and wifi is good. Great place if youâre outside a lot. If youâre an indoor person, this will bother you.
The location was great. The deck was really nice and right on top of the dunes. The layout was pretty good as well, with 4 bedrooms and each pair sharing a jack n jill bathroom. The two issues I would note were 1) the interior space is a little rundown and could use some fairly simple TLC that would make the property feel a lot nicer. For example, the popcorn ceiling is hanging down in spots in one of the bathrooms. And 2) outside of your basic place settings and pots and pans, there were not many cooking ingredients in the kitchen. Bring your own salt and pepper!
The house is very shabby chic, more shabby than chic. Defiantly needs a touch of TLC. My biggest thing I was unhappy with was the blinds. Such a beautiful view but looking through blinds, that donât work, takes away from it. You also have a privacy issue at night. We had to hang a large towel over the door so people from the beach could not see in. My suggestion would be hang curtains in all the windows and get rid of the blinds, easy open and close.
NOW with that saidâŠ. WE LOVED IT!!! The view and the location more that makes up for the âshabbyâ. Step off the porch on to the beach, NICE! We will We would love to come back.
upon arriving the inside temp was 85 deg. At 8:00 pm the inside temp was 82 deg. So i checked the filters and both where completely stoped up with dust and dirt. Also the evaporator coil was just as bad so the unit could not breath , operate correctly. I had my sons clean the coils that night so we could get some relief. Each day the temp would get up to 80 deg in the main living area, so you can say the unit is not working sufficiently for the heat of summer. The house needs to be updated also, it shows much wear, i will never rent this house agin.,
My girls and I arrived around 6pm after our long drive in to discover that the house had a completely different interior than the one that was listed online. The exterior was the same but the interior was a different house completely. I would have considered staying there but the property was dirty, smelled terrible and the windows on the deck wouldnât close completely or lock, which left no way for the house to be secured.
I called the local property management company, Vacasa, and they took forever to get back to me so I ended up calling VRBO, and having a 3 way call with VRBO and Vacasa. I cannot say enough about how helpful and supportive VRBOâs customer service was. They metaphorically âheld my handâ through a couple hours worth of sorting things out with Vacasa. After 4 hours of back and forth, Vacasa ended up moving me to a completely different location 30 minutes away. The new house ended up being adequate, clean and secure and the rest of our trip ended up being enjoyable, but man, it was a ROUGH start! While Vacasa ended up doing the right thing by moving me, I had to be super assertive to get an equivalent (on the beach) house, and they gave me a fair amount of attitude/push back when I wasnât ok with a different house (a few blocks from the beach). I would be hesitant to rent from Vacasa again, but was extremely impressed with VRBOâs customer service.
Great location right on the beach!! Close to restaurants so we didnât have to get on busy 59. Family loved the rockers and swing on the porch with views of the beach. Plenty of seating inside with 2 couches and 2 chairs. Also, 2 king beds , 1 queen and a large bunk room accommodated everyone.
