The main attraction of this beach home is its direct access to the beautiful white sandy beach, where you can savor the majestic views of the Gulf from the expansive back deck. For a more leisurely experience, enjoy the covered swing, perfect for relaxation. A private boardwalk provides an easy and exclusive path right down to the waterâ€™s edge.

The Primary suite of this home is a true retreat, featuring a cozy Queen bed and a flat-screen TV, where you can unwind after a day in the sun. The suite boasts picturesque views of Little Lagoon and a Primary bathroom complete with a spacious walk-in shower.

Accommodating a variety of sleeping arrangements, the second and third bedrooms each offer a comfortable Full bed, while the fourth bedroom is perfect for younger guests or those young at heart, featuring 2 Twin-over-Twin bunk beds. Overall, this delightful beach house comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests.

The living and kitchen area is designed with an open and airy concept, accentuated by high ceilings that enhance the feeling of space. It's equipped with a flat-screen TV for entertainment and a full-sized washer and dryer for convenience. Family vacay

2nd time staying here. We opted to stay here this year after a great time last year. Love the location of the house and everything about it. Minor updates needed. The only complaint we had really is the pipe of dredged material being discharged our last two days but we knew it was there and that's out of the hands of the property owner. Perfect place for the perfect vacation

Not what you pay for.

The location was fine, but the house is beyond outdated. It could really use a fresh coat of paint as well as new decking on the balcony. The balcony handrails are flimsy and should not be trusted. The stairs leading up to the entry door were very steep and lack handrails on both sides. We had two people in our party that really needed extra support to get up and down the stairs. Floor tiles are cracked and rooms are very small. The beds are horrible and should have been replaced years ago. No one in my party got a decent night sleep on these beds. Some actually bought air mattresses just to make it through. The check in and out process was easy, however it seems like check in times keep getting later and check out times keep getting earlier (but i guess that's true everywhere). Overall, location was fine, but wouldn't recommend to others based on my experience for the price. 2-1/2 stars just because check in and out was easy.

The location is perfect, close enough to all the popular tourist spots but far enough away that you’re not crowded. The property was as described and clean.

Perfect on the Beach Stay

This was a perfect spot to stay with our extended family - 5 adults and 2 kids (10 & 5). Comfortable house and easy access to the beach.

Reviews are worth what you pay for them, including this one so please take with a grain of salt. My goal is not to influence you to book or not book this home, but to inform you of what to expect if you do. We have taken our family to the beach the day after Christmas for several years. On this trip there was 10 of us counting husbands, fiancées, girlfriends, and boyfriends. 2 more of us could not make it this year due to a conflicting trip. Now that our family has grown up, it is difficult for us all to get together. This is the reason we go to the beach, to spend time together as a family. The good. The house was clean. The communication was good. Arrival and entry were easy. The location is good. Now the bad. This house does not sleep 12, not comfortably. Not close. The only way it would work is if your party had lots of children who didn’t care where they slept. We did not have small children and remember, there was 10 of us, not 12. The day after we arrived, the next morning, we scrambled and leased another home (condo) so we would have enough room for everyone. Ouch! So, some of us stayed at this house and some stayed at the condo. Not ideal for what we were planning. Something else you should know. The beach has experienced serious erosion so there wasn’t a beach. The leasing agency has nothing to do with this but think It’s something you should know. We are a very active family and like to play games on the beach while we’re there. There was hardly anywhere to place a chair. Also, because of the erosion, getting down to the beach was a real challenge. You must be able to scale the dune which is steep. An elderly person or someone with limited physical ability would have a difficult time doing this. Lastly, this rental is a down and dirty, no-frills rental. The agency will send you a list of things that you need to bring with you if you lease it. Pay attention to that list, they are not joking. We had one wash cloth when we arrived. Again, the agency, I think, said this but I didn’t believe they were serious. They were. Also, if you want to hang any of your cloths, bring clothes hangers. Overall, I would give this place about a 2 star. Primarily due to how uncomfortable it was for 10 people. We would not lease this home again. Remember, reviews are very subjective. You may go and wonder what the heck that guy was complaining about. I hope that’s the case. I just wished someone else would have written this before me.

Uncomfortable Beds

Good location. Place was clean. Unfortunately the beds are really old and worn out. Very saggy and uncomfortable. Reached out before our stay based on other reviews and after our first night. The owners don't care enough to replace the uncomfortable mattresses. The place overall is getting beat up. Broken tiles. Finish flaking off cabinets. Carpet well worn and kinda dingy. They also need to clean out the grills. They were packed full of old charcoal. Not fun to do.

As advertised

So let's keep in mind the importance of location location location. We stayed a full week and as the previous reviews said the beds were the topic of conversation. Couple of the beds were softer than the main bed. Would definitely consider dropping 100 or 200 bucks of the 2+k we spent for a pillow topper for the master...a simple fix that will go a long way. 1st bathroom needs a stopper for the tub but not a big deal unless your wanting to bath toddlers who spent time on the beach. Had most everything we needed to cook meals and eat with. There are 2 walmart grills downstairs and traditional coffee pot for filters however no beach toys or chairs so bring your own. Also towels are limited for a larger family. Could use a bit of updating for those that see it as an issue. Other than that, we spent alot of time on the balcony and yes, the walkway is mere feet from a mostly uninhabited beach. Overall, we enjoyed our stay with just the one exception of the master bed being uncomfortable to sleep on.

Great beach house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is great with an awesome view! We brought an umbrella for the balcony for some shade, and it was fine. There are no stairs going down from the balcony to the walkway going to beach. There was only one way in and out of the house, the front door. The stairway to the house is under the porch. The boardwalk to beach is nice,but at the end was a broken jagged step, and a couple missing steps. Made it a very steep drop. You have to be careful not to get cut. We never needed maintenance, but they still showed up on 2 different days. No problem, but I would like to suggest you let guest know they are coming. We did enjoy our stay. Short walk to the beach, and loved the house, although the beds are uncomfortable.

Would recommend

Great stay for families. Plenty of sleeping space and 2 full bathrooms. Easy beach access. Away from the more busy areas of the beach. Short drive to food and shopping.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family has stayed in this very house about 4-5 years ago. We wanted to recreate the same memories this year. However, the house is falling apart. The cabinets are peeling, there is rust everywhere, the TV remote did not exist, lamps were falling apart, the couch is dingy and disgusting. Not what we were hoping for, especially the price you pay.

The pros were huge and out weighed the cons which were minor.Pros - 1. Great location, not far from stores, directly on the beach. 2. Boardwalk from the house directly to the beach, this means you don't have to haul everything over the big sand dune which is helpful when you have small children, can leave your beach stuff at the end so that you don't have to haul it back and forth 3. Plenty of room for the 8 of usCons - 1. Furniture is shabby and cheap but I get it because it is a rental 2. All of the beds are extremely uncomfortable, the queens and doubles squeek every time you move and they sag in the middle, one actually touches the floor3. All rooms have tvs but not all have remotes, one tv in a bedroom just flat didn't work4.There were 8 of us and 8 towels but only 2 bath cloths, had to go buy more at Walmart, only 1 bath mat for 2 bathrooms but there were 2 hand towels5. Not clean to my standards, the table in the corner was covered in food crumbs, the floors were not clean, my grandchildren's feet stayed black the entire time we were in the house6. Get to the beach to set your chairs out early because it is a public beach and although your boardwalk goes directly to the beach, people will put their chairs right in front of it and nest to it7. Steps leading into condo are very steep, must be very careful on them

Fathers Day beach trip

Had an amazing time at the beach. The beach was very peaceful and family friendly. Location of the house was perfect with very short pier private access to the beach. The beds were not comfortable but the space and location was good 👍🏼

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Mattresses are terrible. Master bedroom mattress feels like you are sleeping in a hole. There was no blow dryer. No pot holders to remove hot items from the stove. We were only given one kitchen towel and one dishcloth for the whole stay, so you didn't even have towels to use There is no kitchen storage left for guests, so we had food etc scattered all over the place which left no room on the island to eat. No dust pan to sweep sand and broom needs to be replaced. We had a hose bibb to leak while were there. They came and fixed it while we were at the beach. WE came up to find the person leaving the inside of the house. Not really sure why he had to go inside for a hose bibb. Furniture in the living room is old and dirty. We loved the location, but the house desperately needs updating. We had to call to check on our code to get in. Check in time was at 3 and we didn't get the code until after 4:30. Fortunately for the rental company we ran into traffic and it took us an extra 2 hours to get there otherwise we would not have been able to check into the house at arrival.

Reviewer Comments: The location was great, beach access, etc. When the AC would kick on, the bedroom lights would flicker. The lamps in the living room also flickered, if the cord wasn't just right. None of the furniture was particularly comfy. Bought a bed pad for one because it felt so thin. The last night half the house electricity went out. Nothing popped in breaker. Was off about an hour and then started working. The place was clean. They had necessary pots and pans, kitchen felt good. Not to small. It was meh.

First family vacation

Far Reach is a great place to stay!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place is conveniently located right on the beach. We got into town early and they were able to give us the door code and hour before the place was supposed to be ready! They were extremely friendly and easy to get a hold of! Easy access for families that don't want to have to go very far with their kids. We have five kids ranging from an infant to 18yo. You don't even have to leave the property to find things to do. The white sand and emerald waters are beautiful. My kids enjoyed not only the beach but going out on the balcony to feed seagulls. You can open up the doors and hear the ocean or watch the sights right from the house. It's not near as far of a walk down the boardwalk than what it looks on pictures. All around an incredibly great stay!!!! We loved it and hope to go back again. Also the beach was never that crowded which is a big plus!!!!

Location, Location, Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property description of the house was accurate regarding location, layout, and all the amenities. The property was clean. It is a bit dated, but not a huge issue. We did like the outdoor shower too! So convenient to wash all the sand off before getting in the house. There was picture in the house of this home before a remodel- It was nice to see the improved changes.After cooking the first meal, we did not have any pot holders to get the hot food out of the oven. Someone could have easily taken one from the home previously, but it was an inconvenience so we had to use a hand towel until one was purchased-which I took the one I bought home with me. This house was very easy walk to the beach. We have two small children in tow and it was nice to walk back to the house. As a family, we really enjoyed the location. It was a close drive to restaurants, family fun parks, and attractions.It would be nice to have a grill. There was a grill on the property, but not in working condition-the legs were broken. Although, the listing did not include a grill. It is in the behind the storage building under the house. Looks like someone bought it and left it there. It should be removed, because it is in one of the pictures in the listing.We did experience an hour and half delay with check-in. We were told at check-in time that it would be later. I called to see what the estimated time would be, the representative said that the cleaners were there at that time, and we would be giving a text with the code when it is done. The text was given 1.5 hours later. Again, NOT a huge issue. We were excited to get to our destination. Overall, we would stay here again. Those small things did not ruin a great family beach trip. We plan to stay there again. We loved the boardwalk and easy access to the beach.

We had a wonderful stay!

The property was very nice and we loved being right now the beach! It was not very busy, we had lots of space on the beach for fun, and could walk back into the house whenever we wanted. What a relaxing way to spend a beach long weekend! We had a great time and would stay here again.

Great Location

This is a great spot for families. It was very clean and has lots of room. The outside deck furniture is in need of updating, and the steps are very steep, with no landing at the top. That would make it hard for anyone with mobility issues, but the walkway over the dunes to the beach is very helpful. The property manager was wonderful.
