La Villa Agel est une villa spacieuse et élégante située sur une colline surplombant Coral Bay offrant une vue à 180 degrés sur Coral Bay, Drake's Passage et les îles Vierges britanniques. Bien qu'il ne soit qu'à quelques minutes des meilleures plages et restaurants des Caraïbes, les clients bénéficient d'une intimité totale, que ce soit au soleil près de la grande piscine ou à manger à l'extérieur à l'ombre des palmiers et des bougainvilliers en fleurs. Vous vous endormirez au doux clapotis des vagues sur la rive voisine.

Un design, un savoir-faire et un aménagement paysager exceptionnels distinguent la Villa Agel. Les murs et les arches en pierre des Antilles traditionnelles sont complétés par de riches boiseries en acajou. Vous apprécierez la cuisine spacieuse bien équipée en granit et acajou. Une salle à manger formelle et un salon entourent la tour centrale en pierre, un bar séparé est idéal pour se divertir, la vue par la fenêtre est spectaculaire et s'ouvre sur une terrasse généreuse avec une vue à 180 ° avec des levers de soleil et des étoiles incroyables.

De chaque côté du salon principal, se trouvent deux grands maîtres avec climatisation, plafonds voûtés et salles de bains. Les deux ont des lits à baldaquin traditionnels en acajou des Caraïbes, une vue sur Coral Bay, des curseurs ou des portes-fenêtres qui s'ouvrent sur la terrasse de la piscine, et des douches extérieures avec des plantes tropicales et de belles pierres assez hautes pour l'intimité.

Au cœur de ce remarquable composé se trouve une piscine généreuse et très privée, bordée de terrasses en terre cuite et de chaises longues pour ravir les adorateurs du soleil. Si vous préférez l'ombre, deux pergolas, des palmiers matures et des jardins tropicaux luxuriants offrent plusieurs retraites calmes et ombragées. Des arches en briques anciennes entourent une vaste galerie couverte donnant sur la piscine et la baie de corail.

La confidentialité est une priorité absolue à la Villa Agel. Bien que les gestionnaires soient à vue, ils sont à un niveau distinct. Pourtant assez proche pour donner une attention personnelle. Ocean views

Had an amazing experience in this place. Lots of room for a family of 7. Has everything needed to cook meals. The pool was awesome to have for the kids to play in while grilling out. The showers are all great with an outdoor feeling but also private. Sat on front porch in the evening with cocktails and listening to the ocean was my favorite. House host was very responsive when asking a question. Great location for getting to all the amazing beaches. We would definitely book again.

Great Visit

We had a great stay at Villa Agel. The property was spacious with a well planned layout that afforded private and communal spaces. The view was terrific with expansive ocean vistas dotted with many islands. We cooked every night and found the nearby Calabash market had some very nice fish and meats. The little town of Coral Bay was a short drive. The owners were promptly responsive to our questions. We look forward to future visits.

Heaven

This house is stunning, and close to so many great snorkeling spots. It was absolutely perfect for my birthday trip with friends and adult children. The deck views were beautiful, the kitchen well-appointed, the bedrooms were comfortable and pretty and had A/C and lots of windows, the bathrooms were lovely and plentiful, and the pool was a perfect end to each day. The owners were incredibly responsive and great communicators, and the outdoor pet cats very sweet. Nothing could have been better. I also loved being in the Coral Bay area which is quieter than Cruz Bay but still has great restaurants. Our favorites were Skinny Legs and Johnny Lime. Be sure to rent a car than can handle bumps and steep hills!

Very Nice Villa - a Bit Too Hot

Everything was as described and more. We did have a wonderful time, and the villa was wonderful for a large party of people. The only problem was the AC, which is not what I would call fully described correctly in the property description. There is no AC in the living part of the house, only the bedrooms. We happened to take the one bedroom where the AC had issues and so we never did have a cool experience in the house, no matter where we were. Other than that, all was good and I'd recommend the villa. Catherine and Eric communicated well and were very responsive.

Paradise

Villa Agel exceeded our expectations! The location is great, on the quieter side of the island, and you’re still a quick easy ride to many beautiful beaches, and there are multiple markets and restaurants right down the street. The property was great- clean, spacious, fully stocked with kitchen appliances and beach gear. Pool was perfect, A/C and grill worked well, and the bathrooms are all really unique and cool. 2 of the rooms are in a separate building across the pool deck, which worked great for our group, and they have private decks and bathrooms. The views from the multiple decks can’t be beat! We also loved that there were multiple outdoor areas to enjoy, including the front deck which has incredible views, a nice breeze most nights, and is away from the pool (helpful for us with small kids). Catherine and Eric were incredibly responsive and provided a ton of helpful information leading up to and during our trip. We would absolutely stay here again!

Magnificent home!

This house was better than we could have ever imagined! It was spacious enough for all 10 of us (3 family groups). The pool was perfect for kids, teens, and adults. It was located on the quiet side, which we absolutely loved! Close to restaurants and near lots of beaches. The kids enjoyed seeing the tortoises that visited every evening. The outdoor showers were a fun addition the tropical stay. The house was stocked with everything we needed, towels, pool toys, chairs, umbrellas, and all the kitchen utensils you need.

6 STAR PROPERTY

Amazing House on an Amazing Island. Very clean as advertised. We had a multifamily group of ten. Would also be perfect for up to 5 couples. Each bedroom has their own private bath. Kitchen table was large enough for everyone to eat/play games together. Kitchen was well stocked if you plan on cooking. It was nice to cool down in the pool at the end of the day in an expansive outdoor area. Never knew where the "wild" turtle was going to appear each day. Still trying to figure out how he went up and down the stairs. We traveled with our own snorkel gear and coolers. However, there were plenty of both available at the house if needed. We did take advantage of the 10+ beach chairs every day. We will be staying there again if we are traveling with a group of 6 or more. Thank you for a wonderful travel experience.

Wonderful Vacation Stay

Our families so enjoyed the Villa Agel! From the great layout, where each bedroom has its own bathroom to the perfect sized pool to relax by in the afternoon after being at the beaches all day. All necessary items to bring to the beach and easy drive to so many awesome snorkel spots.

Fabulous!!

We can not say enough about Villa Agel. There were six of us, three couples, that stayed for a week. After the drive from the ferry dock, in the dark, after a long day of traveling, we were thrilled to arrive at such an awesome place. All of the bedrooms had their own personality, were very spacious, comfortable and very private. The kitchen had everything you needed to prepare any meal, the grill was great, we grilled mahi, shrimp and steaks one night. The review that mentioned an issue with the grill was wrong, we had no problems with it at all. The outdoor spaces were so comfortable, from watching the sunrise, pretty much every morning, on the front balcony drinking coffee to sitting around the table by the pool in the evenings with cocktails, perfect. Moss and Corey were very pleasant and nice to chat with. They were available by phone or text if there were any issues or questions. Catherine was always quick to respond to my many messages. There is nothing that we could say was missing. We know we’ll be back to St John and would definitely book Villa Agel again. We also loved our daily visitors the turtle, the iguana and Bread the cat. Bread is so sweet!

We have stayed on St. John for years and each year in Coral Bay. This home was perfect in many ways. Pool, Dining area, Views and location near Salt Pond and Miss Lucy's etc. However, we will not be coming back to this home. 1. A dead rat in the house caused and enormous stink and the property manager only showed up after we reached out to the property owner. 2. The grill was beyond disgusting and out of order when we arrived and wanted to grill our dinner. Again, we reached out to the owner and we at least received a full propane tank. This helped, but the inner workings of the grill were completely rusted through. Pool was fabulous. Turtle was a welcome visitor. Bedrooms were very comfortable and clean. Lots or snorkeling supplies, beach chairs and coolers for our daily treks to the beach. Kitchen was reasonably well provisioned but at least one of the stove burners wasn't working correctly. All things considered we had a great time but this property didn't live up to our expectations. Oh, one more thing. The house is off the grid and uses solar for electric and hot water. This is wonderful and we support the effort. However, if you want a hot shower or even a warm shower in the morning it can be very challenging. We had to ask more than a few times to have the back up electric hot water heater bumped up, particularly on cloudy days.

We had a great time at the Villa Agel. Communications with the owner and property manager were prompt and helpful. The view overlooking Coral Bay is incredible. Our grandkids enjoyed the pool. I would highly recommend the Villa Agel.

A lovely vacation

We had a fabulous time in St. John! This home was gorgeous and perfectly located. We loved being on the Coral Bay side of the island where it is quieter, but still has beautiful beaches and plenty to do. The house was stocked with everything we needed. The owners were super helpful before our trip. They were quick to answer questions. Corey and Moss, the property managers, were fantastic! They were responsive, friendly and helpful. We would absolutely rent from them again and stay in this house again!

Fantastic Family Getaway

Wow! What a fantastic home in paradise! The house was exactly as pictured. Our group of 12 made lots of wonderful memories during our stay. In between the beautiful sunrises and sunsets, we spent lots of time in the pool and at the various beaches close by. It was an adventure and we loved it!

Amazing views! Amazing home! Amazing mangement!

The home was exactly as advertised. The views were amazing and the home very comfortable. We only had one issue with the 5th bedroom downstairs. Too many bugs for one of our family members so we just doubled up in one bedroom, which was no problem with the rooms being so spacious. We spoke with Moss, who was the property manager and he did make an attempt to satisfy us. But we were on an island and there are bugs, so we understood. Moss and Cory were kind and very helpful. Property was in a peaceful neighborhood and the courtyard and pool were a hit with the whole family. Must have a jeep to stay at this home to get to restaurants and grocery store.

Eric and Catherine have been annual visitors to St John since 2011. They purchased a property in 2018 and lovingly restored the quaint lime green Coral Bay cottage known as Lime Time (VRBO #1744317). In 2019, they purchased hurricane damaged Villa Agel and lovingly bought Agel back to her original glory with some upgrades!
