Clean and well equipped, I was alone on business and had to come and go a lot, weekend parking was understandably challenging due to the great location and nice neighborhood. Week day parking was better

Great property. Fantastic host.

Charming place. Perfect location. Wonderful Hosts. Communication with host was impeccable and easy. My wife and I spent a week here for some virtual meetings. It was the perfect place for us. We loved the location with quick access to the beach on breaks from our meetings. We were able to get some great cycling in from the place in our off time as well. We will definitely be back.

An Absolutely Sweet Suite Near the Beach!

"Executive Hideaway Nestled between Secluded Beaches" was just what I was looking for. It's located in a quiet and lovely beach community with the beach and a variety water activities just steps away. The Executive Suite was super clean and fully equipped for either short or long term stays. I loved the variety of restaurants, cafes, and shops nearby. The Check In and Check Out processes were simple and straightforward. The proximity to nearby airports and other beach communities allowed for a perfect weekend getaway at the Executive Hideaway! I will definitely go back!!

Great location, weak cell service

*Beware of the age restriction prior to booking, and be prepared to sign a lengthy rental agreement. The location of M’s place was great, beautifully situated between the bay and the ocean. Getting into town or to a restaurant does require a car ride. The cell service and WiFi connectivity was very weak, which makes working and taking phone calls nearly impossible.

Communication Excellence & Flexibility

M was wonderful. I was not able to join the trip, however my significant other was still able to visit LB to see his family, and M was very much accommodating to when we needed to push Adam's trip back by a day, and we were still able to get Adam into the condo. We very much appreciate the attentiveness from M! You will love the location, walkability, and easy access to the beach to see the sunset. I wish I had made it this time around but was unable. Adam loved his stay and we will return to this exact spot. You won't regret it!

Long Beach Hideaway

This property was perfect for what we wanted. Location! We spent most of our visit bike riding on the nearby bike path, attending the local music festival, and trying the neighborhood restaurants. This LB hideaway is located on a major street, however it wasn’t a problem, we were able to sleep in comfortably, and we found parking very close by. There is no tv (as is stated), however if we wanted to watch something in the evening, we could use our PC. We enjoyed walking the beach boardwalk or reading at the bay in the chairs from the property. This is not a brand new property but it is kept up nicely and very comfortable. We had a friendly chat with M and partner and told them we had a lovely time and plan on here staying again in the future.

Loved the location but parking was challenging in the heart of the busy August summer. I remedied this by being patient and driving a loop over and over again until I got a space. So plan an extra 10-20 min and a longish walk if its busy. Having two easy chairs with ottomans would make this space immeasurably more comfortable than the leather loveseat but I am older and having had spine surgeries it is hard to be comfortable. I never met or saw the owner because everything was fine and I needed nothing.

Long Beach getaway

My husband and I chose this property for our long weekend visiting our son. The location was perfect, on the peninsula, just a couple hundred yards to the beach, and just a few minutes drive to downtown/marina area. We were welcomed with a greeting card and complimentary bottle of wine. The photos and description are accurate. The property was the perfect size for us, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed. We enjoying using the beach chairs to watch the sunset on the beach. We had no problem parking right out front the on a Thursday and Friday, On Saturday we parked down the street, but is was a Holiday weekend so I wasn't surprised and it was still pretty close. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. I would definitely rent here again. Thank you M for a great experience!

Unpleasant Surprise

My husband and I flew there to visit our daughter and to celebrate our anniversary and his birthday. I didn’t realize air conditioning wasn’t a basic amenity in CA. I have a health condition and it worsens if I’m hot for too long and it was 82 degrees when we got there. The place is adorable but we weren’t able to stay. There is a fan offered and the property manager stated there’s a good ocean breeze, but unfortunately it wouldn’t be enough and there wasn’t much of a breeze in the area. Paid full price for a 5 day stay and was only at the property 10 minutes. Super sad vacation. We did have some difficulty finding a parking spot and you can’t park on the street on Fridays for a certain time, a designated parking spot would be helpful. I did think It was closer to the beach:/ocean than it actually was. The breeze may have helped more then. For the short time we were there, the place appeared to be equipped like the other places we have rented, was just very surprised by the air conditioning. :(

Caution No Comfort

I have never left a bad review until now. I wish I could share pictures of the uncleanliness. Kitchen sink and countertops dirty. Cooktop had a puddle of something wet and grease in one of the burners. Gross old sponges. Needless to say I did not cook there. I swept the floor and my dustpan had broken glass a safety pin, dirt and hair in it. Thank goodness I brought my own cleaning supplies. The worst part is that there was just nothing comfortable about the space. It is listed with a queen bed. My husband is 6’5” and I was questioning if we could get by for 4 days or not. The bed was a full not a queen. The couch is more like a chair and a half so again no place to relax together which is what you are supposed to be able to do on vacation. The parking was terrible but I guess that’s normal in that area. The WIFI and cell service is horrible so if your going there to do work plan on leaving to get signal. Looking out the bedroom window is a courtyard that is accessed only by the owners and is so heavily overgrown with vegetation you would not be able to walk back there, I can only imagine what might be living in there. In the listing the front of the rental has nice potted plants that are no longer there and have been replaced with dead bushes. I heard ladies walking by one morning and they actually stopped and said, “what a shame these are dead, and they are so close to a water spout I don’t understand.” A great thing I can say about this space is the location to the beaches. That was nice. The space is so cute and could be fantastic if it had a larger more comfortable couch. If your going to advertise the property with a queen size bed, then get one. I would hire a different cleaning company if I were the owners.

Great location!

First the positives: LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! To have a bay of calm water and beach on one side, and the windy ocean on the other was outstanding! Best of both worlds! The place was clean, and the hosts were great on communications and expectations! The negatives: Parking is a bear. rent a small car and practice up on your parallel parking! Bring your laptop if you want to watch a movie, there isn't a TV. There isn't any AC either, but the temperatures stay pretty cool. All in all, it was a great experience and highly recommend it!

Perfect little getaway

The wife and I got to getaway for the weekend and this was a perfect little place to go to. Great location 30 seconds to the beach and barley anyone on the beach. We will definitely come back in the future. Thanks again

Great Low Key Spot

Great 1 bedroom with everything you need. Quiet neighborhood that is close to everything. 30 minute commute to Aneheim for work. Just a short walk to 2 different beaches.
