Évadez-vous dans ce joyau isolé pour profiter de la nature avec un ruisseau à proximité dans des hectares de forêt luxuriante. Les baies vitrées et les poutres apparentes donnent beaucoup de charme à cette maison. Passez du temps tranquille à l'extérieur et observez la faune parmi les arbres, ou allez à l'intérieur et détendez-vous dans le salon spacieux ou installez-vous confortablement pour un film. Il y a trois espaces de vie permettant à chacun de se répartir. Faites une randonnée le long du bord du ruisseau, asseyez-vous sur le balcon privé à l'étage et regardez le coucher du soleil, ou restez à l'intérieur et jouez à des jeux de société vintage. Birch Hollow Cottage est l'endroit idéal pour découvrir la beauté du Vermont.

À seulement un mile et demi, le Sugarbush Resort propose des activités pour tout le monde, notamment le golf, le vélo, le tennis, la randonnée et la tyrolienne. Descendez les pistes en hiver à la station de ski Mad River Glen, à moins de neuf miles de là. Ou parcourez un peu plus de cinq kilomètres jusqu'à Warren Falls si vous vous sentez aventureux pour une randonnée avec des vues spectaculaires.

Isolated and blissful

The property is in a beautifully secluded area that surrounds you with nature. The house is spacious but cozy at the same time. Vacasa makes the entire process easy. Would definitely stay here again!

So very close to Sugarbush (Lincoln)

The house was very much what we expected. Vacasa and local property manager were poor performers, e.g. lock box had the wrong code and local property manager never responded so we were never able to gain access to the shed where we assume the bear boxes (recyling and trash bins) were kept.

Comfy Cozy Cabin in the Woods

The cabin was nestled in the woods with only the sounds of the brook below. It was very quiet & comfortable with all of the amenities of home. Located in a very nice area.

Not great experience -- Property not as listed

I have been coming to Sugarbush annually and often stay in Vacasa rentals and they have all been great. This was the first time where I did NOT have a good experience. Not only was the house not clean (dirty linens in the closet, dirty tissues behind beds etc, couch had tons of crumbs etc) but 3 of the "beds" were simply mattresses on the floor. The listing photos in the loft did not look as pictured and the house certainly did not accommodate 10 people despite listing that it did. Additionally, the host was slow to respond, if they responded at all. All in all, in comparison to other Vacasa / VRBO rentals I have stayed in for similar price, this was absolutely not worth the money.

Comfortable Vermont Home

Our family of 5 and dog enjoyed our stay at Birch Hollow. Spacious home for 5 or more with lovely first floor gathering space. Beautiful large windows looking out over the Brook below.

Quiet retreat

A nice getaway!

This house suited our needs and budget. House was priced correctly. We are avid snowboarders and skiers and its location was great and the wooded surroundings are very nice. We would rent this house again. There was a hiccup regarding hot tub and vacasa did refund us some funds for this as it wasn’t available. We hope it will be in the future. Thanks!

Cute house in the woods

The house was cute, and the location was good. We liked the woods and stream around the house and the quiet road it was on. The views of the woods out the windows were lovely. There were a few old board games for the kids, but not much else for them to do when it was raining. The TV worked well, and we had internet. The bed downstairs was a little hard and the sheets looked old. Some of the furniture was obviously old, but we didn't use a lot of it anyway. The kids stayed in the loft and thought that was fun. The downstairs shower didn't seem to get hot no matter how long we ran it, but I'm not sure why. We just used the upstairs shower. We were happy that we could bring our dog. Overall, it was a nice stay for the few days we were there, and very affordable.

No hot tub

The house was dirty when we got there, feminine products in the garbage in the bathrooms, dirty glasses left upstairs, the mirrors in the bathroom had fingerprints and water marks still on them, most importantly the oven did not work, and no coffee maker that worked. Hot tub was dirty, plus there were not any tools to clean it. I talked to the property manager, she did drop off a carafe for the coffee maker, but it didn't fit. She also told me they were waiving the cleaning fee, but that hasn't happened yet, I contacted her since I've been home, have not heard back. Location was nice, but inside the house has chunks of dust and uncomfortable furniture. If you look closely enough, you can see the sagging mattress in the pictures.

Enjoyed our third stay at the Birchhollow house in Warren Vermont. We would love to return however, we have some concerns about the property. 1. There is a strange odor in the house -a musty kind of mildewy smell. At first we thought it might be the trash, but it seems to be coming from somewhere else. The smell hits you when you enter the door and lingers on through the kitchen and all the way to the second floor. We removed one of the rugs that was very dirty at the front door. That seemed to cut down on some of the smell, but the smell was still in the house even after the rug was removed. 2. The trash situation seems to be a continuing problem. All three times we have stayed at the house we have struggled to find extra trash bags and to sort through the compost food scraps. We are totally fine with separating trash per Vermont’s laws, but if we are not provided the correct receptacles to do this when we stay for over a week, it is difficult to maintain that expectation. 3. On this stay there seemed to be problems with the drains in the bathrooms sinks and the bathroom shower. Everything is draining very slowly. I tried using some of the liquid Drano that was provided, and that still did not remove the slow drain. We think that maybe there is a plumbing problem that’s backing up into the septic system and that could be where that lingering smell is coming from. 4. The washing machine does not drain on the final rinse and spin cycle. every load that we washed stopped and sat in unrinsed dirty water. We would have to reset for a second rinse and cycle. It should also be noted that we did not overfill the washing machine even with small loads it seems to stop and not drain. 5. On a sidenote: What happened to the towels? They are so small. They do not wrap around an adult body. With all this being said, we thoroughly enjoyed this property, the walks to the Bradley Brooke, hot tub, and the overall comfort of the home itself. We would love to return but thought you should be aware of some of these issues that we found this past week in Vermont. Thanks again. Hoping to return.

Llegamos y la casa esta sucia la mesa d comer los pisos sucios con mancha las sabanas d los cuartos con mal olor los utencilios d la cocina sucios llamamos para ver q solucionaban me dijeron q ellos iban al siguiente di les avisamos q no ibamos a estar despues d las 9 q ellos podian ir y nunca se aparecieron mi esposa y yo nos pusimos limpiar estabamos considerando irnos antes pero despues d q NOSOTROS limpiamos decidimo quedarnos, la casa linda pero necesita improvements las gavetas d la cocina no abren bien no hay cortinas en los cuartos las camas suenan demasiado deberian d cambiarlas y no teniamos nada d madera para la chimenea d verdad q vacasa 2 of 10

Birch Hollow Cottage

The cottage is in a perfect location for accessing surrounding areas in Vermont. The cottage itself is secluded, surrounded by trees and brooks - very picturesque! Especially with the fall foliage this week. But . . . I would not return to the cottage. I’ve used VRBO many times and have had great success securing places that live up to the description on line. Good communication with the owners. I learned a valuable lesson this time - the cottage is run by a company - Vacassa and I will not do that again. The reply time was 2-3 days and the personal touches are definitely not there. Major Concerns - Needs a lot of TLC and tiding up of amenities such as 1. New mattresses. 2. Provide bath towels that actually dry you with one towel. Hot tub towels would be nice. Tiny soap bars in a bag and little tubes of shampoo/conditioner (think motel 6) 3. Provide containers to store food in . 4. Knives that cut an apple. Dish towels were non existent. It just felt weird using a bathroom hand towel. No washcloth! 5. There was no where to take garbage out and no bags. 6. A beautiful wood burning stove but no wood or instructions. 7. Hot tub top needs replaced! No straps, all torn and to keep the one side afloat they’ve stuffed some kind of stuff in the lining that weighs a lot to keep it upright. My overall feeling is the cottage is being run by a cooperation but not well. And my last complaint. We live in Florida - Tampa Bay Area. Hurricane Ian headed directly for us - the airport was closed, which caused us 2 full nights. I contacted them immediately re: this natural misfortune early (6 a.m.) I did not hear back from them for two days and their response was that since we were arriving the following day - no amendments could be allowed. No compromise on the 2 days lost, no offer to extend the time - just sorry for the inconvenience. That’s the difference between a cooperation and the personal touch of an owner.

Magical Forest Cottage!

We loved out stay in mid-September! Beautiful view from the treetops to the babbling brook below. Well decorated and super cozy. Fun attic nook for kids and wonderful property to explore. We look forward to returning!

Lovely cabin perfect for family getaway

Great to be able to bring our dog with us, and the room arrangement allows everyone to have their own space. Lovely cabin tucked away in the woods, but close to everything! Perfect!
