We had a wonderful time! The house and location were great with enough room for our large family. We had a great week skiing and enjoying the area. Samantha was incredibly responsive and helpful host! Highly recommended!
Going to Sugarbush? Visiting the area any time of year? Have a group? This is the place you are looking for. It has everything, the hot tub is awesome, and the host is second to none. Truly nothing missing and i recommend without hesitation.
Thank you for staying with us. I understand your travel plans changed prior to arrival and this was no longer convenient. As noted in the listing, the beds are standard sizes (queen, double, and twin) and accurately reflected in the description and photos. We always encourage guests to review the listing details carefully when booking to be sure the home is the right fit for their needs. I’m also always available to answer any questions. We appreciate your stay and wish you the best in your future travels.
Listing is just as described, perfect amount of space for two families. Kids loved the game room and adults enjoyed the hot tub. Samantha is so easy to communicate with!
Between the Pines was the perfect cozy stay for our weekend visit to hike Camles Hump mtn. The house was very clean and the beds and linens were wonderfully comfortable. The hot tub was perfect after our tough hike.
The check in process was easy. The house has enough baking pans, silveware and plates for all guests. The neighborhood is quiet and close to the main road. Would definitely stay again.
We loved staying here with family for graduation weekend. It is immaculate, the kitchen is well stocked for cooking, beds were comfy, there were plenty of towels and the bumper pool was so much fun! The hot tub was clean and very relaxing. We highly recommend this house!
Hi Amy and thank you very much for the kind words about the home. I’m thrilled to know it met your needs and contributed to a wonderful weekend full of memories. I hope to host your stay again if you visit!
We really enjoyed our stay. For a group of 7 men getting together for a reunion, all having the need for privacy and a bed, the house worked out great. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook steaks, salmon, pasta, etc... Overall it's a convenient location and room for a lot of parking.
Thank you for the wonderful review David. I’m thrilled to hear that you found the layout of the home and set up met your needs. I hope you will return next year for a repeat reunion!
We all arrived within a hour or so of each other. The house was easy to get to and easy to get around in. The bumper pool game was a big hit with kids & adults also enjoyed darts. All tried the hot tub,fit a few at a time. We looked the area at shops & a farm with pizza and art!
On saturday there was a problem with the plumbing and the property manager notified. She quickly had a septic tank pumper come out, problem was in line. After 2nd tiolet blocked we decided to leave. We couldn't stay there,9 people & no tiolet. All in all well handled. We went home 1 day early, bummed cuz we couldn't tour ben & jerrys!
A nice weekend visit, just wish rain would stop!
Thank you for your compliments about the features of the house and I’m glad you enjoyed the local area. I appreciate your understanding as I quickly addressed the plumbing issue that developed during your stay. I greatly look forward to hosting you and your family again Lynne!
Between the Pines is in a fabulous location for family fun in both summer and winter. From our initial booking to check out, we had excellent communication with the property owner. We had one maintenance issue while we were there, and the response was immediate. As mentioned in the title, the location was amazing—it was a short walk to a gorgeous swimming hole with a rocky beach and a rope swing (parking also available there) and a short drive to several other swimming holes as well. There are many fabulous restaurants and brews nearby as well, and amazing creemees (Vermont’s special soft serve ice cream). But we also had fun hanging out at the house—the fire pit and the hot tub plus bumper pool and darts made for fun “evenings in”. The beds and linens were top quality, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. One thing that I have to mention is how well-labeled and organized everything is—every light switch and door is labeled which makes it so easy to settle in and not spend time searching for what you need. We would love to come back again in the winter for skiing at Sugarbush or Mad River Glen.
Thank you Alison for the kind review regarding my hosting style. It’s great to hear that you enjoyed the location and all of the amenities included at the house. I hope you will return soon for another memorable adventure!
In the winter you can find me skiing with family and in the summer I’ll be roasting s’mores after a hike. As a property manager of Between the Pines, I enjoy providing an excellent short term rental experience in the Mad River Valley as well as working with children in education. Some of my other hobbies include yoga, piano, cooking and volunteering with my local environmental group.
Between the Pines is a relaxed atmosphere featuring many areas to kick back and enjoy your vacation. Check-in via the electronic key pad and then spend time in front of the wood pellet stove, roasting marshmallows by the fire pit, relaxing in the hot tub or playing bumper pool in between the outdoor adventures nearby. The 5 separate rooms and two distinct living spaces provide privacy while allowing togetherness. Each floor has their own bathroom space. The 1st floor stays naturally cool and the 2nd has air conditioning in the main living area during July and August. For the smallest of guests, a Pack N Play, baby gate and feeding booster are available during your stay. Other items available to make your experience more comfortable include a washer, dryer, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, fans and coffee maker. Exterior cameras and noise alert for alarms are present on this property for security measures.
