Chalet contemporain à flanc de colline

Construite en 1988, cette maison accueillante, confortable et isolée sur trois niveaux a un grand plan d'étage ouvert avec une vue imprenable vers l'ouest de Sugarbush South, Mt. Ellen, Mad River Glen et Camel Hump State Park. Au rez-de-chaussée, il y a une cheminée en granite du sol au plafond et des plafonds cathédrale. Comprend un formidable deck enveloppant. La cuisine est entièrement équipée pour tous les styles de préparation de repas. Il y a aussi une chambre principale avec un lit queen et une salle de bain complète au rez-de-chaussée.
Au rez-de-chaussée, il y a quatre chambres spacieuses et deux salles de bain complètes. Deux des chambres ont des lits queen et deux chambres ont des lits jumeaux. Sortez de l'accès de deux des chambres à l'étage inférieur avec une vue impressionnante sur la montagne.

This was our second stay at this property. The home is spacious with plenty of sleeping options. The kitchen is well stocked, and the dining room table pulls out to accommodate a large crowd! We were in the area celebrating our son’s graduation from Norwich University. This home was the perfect space for enjoying the weekend with our family!

The house was perfect for our family ski trip to Sugarbush - Glenn was always available to answer any questions and provided lots of info about the house and the Mad River Valley - the beds were comfortable and the house was well stocked for our stay - the very charming town of Waitsfield was a few minutes from the house - you even get to go over a covered bridge to get there - and it was an easy drive to the mountain - couldn't ask for more!

This home was just perfect for our family to stay at for a family wedding - perfect number of rooms for our large group and loved the size and style of the house and furnishings. Well stocked kitchen and beautiful view. Wished we had been able to stay longer.

Excellent chalet for a large family weekend. We stayed in the summer. Great views from the deck and perfect socializing areas. Beds were very comfortable. The property is very secluded but not too far from town. Up a few dirt roads and then a gravel driveway. Would highly recommend!

Great rental for skiing

Great house, stayed here during winter break, plenty of room, heat worked great, the views through the main windows were beautiful looking right out at Sugar Bush and Mad River Glen ski areas across the valley. The kitchen was a little dated but everything worked fine, so no real complaints. The garage was really helpful given the amount of snowfall during the time we were there, never really had to clean off our car which was a big plus. Owner was very responsive to all inquiries. The fireplace was my favorite, and the space was idea for my family and my sisters family to do a joint holiday together. It’s at the top of a hill, so during snowy season 4wd cars are a must, but worth it for the view. Town is only a 5 min drive away with a grocery store and other amenities/activities that were helpful for both young kids and adults.

Cozy ski cabin for college friend reunion

We had such a great time staying at this VRBO. It was great location to drive to Sugarbush, grab something at the grocery store or stop at Lawsons. Driveway is steep and needed to be plowed for us to get up, but a plow guy was very close by and able to do that for us within an hour. Very cozy cabin, great for big groups.

Great spot!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Glenn's house. It worked very well for our family with four adult children and their partners. It was spacious, with great views of Sugarbush and Mount Ellen. We really enjoyed sitting out on the porch. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped.

One of the better houses we have stayed at

Great option for a large group, about 20 minutes from sugarbush slopes. Great fireplace, lots of wood, good beds, lots of space to spread out. Driveway can be tough in winter if you don't have a properly equipped vehicle (snow tires and/or AWD)

Went up for foliage weekend with my sons and grandkids and we had a blast!!!

This home is terrific for all ages with 5 bedrooms and wonderfully big open space for many folks of many ages to gather! There were 5 adults and 4 children and it worked beautifully. House location was terrific with a beautiful view and is close to wonderful desirable sites and venues.

Escaped Boston for a quick weekend getaway. We loved the amazing living room with stunning views across the valley and large fireplace. Quick drive to Waitsfield and Warren. Very responsive/ courteous owner. Will hopefully be back soon.

Family Trip

Great house for two families to share. There is plenty of room for everyone. The fireplace is a wonderful spot for everyone to come together. Driveway is difficult for cars without 4 wheel drive.

Winter Stay

We had a great time staying here, it was super easy to access, and communicate with Glen. The driveway is steep so if you do not have a reliable car in the snow, be careful. The rooms were clean, the kitchen had everything we needed to fuel up before skiing. We built a fire and it was so coxy/relaxing. I would book here agin.

The house was lovely. Unfortunately probably due to the weather this summer the lower level bedrooms were very damp even with the dehumidifiers going.

family vacation

Had a short but enjoyable family vacation at Glenn's property. Grandparents got the master suite and the rest of us were downstairs. It was very comfortable and the views are great! Waitsfield is conveniently located at the foot of the hill. The Von Trapp store sold local meat and cheese which was really cool. Glenn was accommodating with check in and check out times.
