Belle maison de campagne nichée dans la Mad River Valley, à quelques minutes de marche du village de Warren et à quelques minutes du sommet de Sugarbush Lincoln. Promenez-vous le long des 3,5 hectares de bois privés jusqu'à la rivière Mad pour vous baigner ou asseyez-vous sur le pont arrière en dégustant votre café du matin en écoutant les oiseaux. À 10 minutes à pied du magasin Warren et à moins de 5 minutes en voiture des chutes Warren, de Sugarbush ou des sentiers de randonnée. Adorable farmhouse!

A perfect location for family weekend at Norwich University! We fit a family of 7 and all slept comfortably, lounged in the living room, or gathered in the spacious kitchen where I cooked and baked all weekend. We will definitely stay again!

Great ski trip with family and friends!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Location was perfect, close to skiing, restaurants, and a grocery store. Accommodations were perfect for two families with kids. We enjoyed the fireplace and the cozy family room the best. Lots of options on the tv as well. Communication with the management company was very fast, especially after we received 2 feet of snow! The plows came promptly and we had absolutely no issues. Would stay there again!

Comfortable set up for up to 10 people. Fireplace was great. Easy access to ski slopes and a variety of restaurants.

The property was clean and well stocked. The beds were comfortable and the house was large enough to accommodate 8 adults. The host communicated quickly and were helpful and pleasant Great restaurants and places to visit. Loved it!

Excellent Large House - Very Close to Everything

This house is rustic, well-stocked with a few key upgrades most notably the bathroom. It will feel like Vermont when you stay here in the best way. We stayed with 7 adults and had plenty of space. It is well located and a quick drive to everything you want in the Mad River Valley. Great communication with the host throughout. Would easily stay here again.

Place is large, inviting and clean.I had to message the host about a small issue at 930 on Saturday night. Issues resolved 15 minutes later. Above and beyond in my opinion.We could not be happier with our stay. Highly recommended.

Great ski house!

Great house. We were a big group of parents and adult children. There was plenty of room for all. Super close to the skiing and also to the cute town of Warren. Totally recommend this house.

Fun, relaxing, enjoyable

We loved staying at this property. We spent most of the time out doors while we were there, hanging out on the porch and in the open backyard. We stayed during the summer and the rooms stayed cool all night long even during the hot days, and the house was also very clean. We would recommend it to anyone.

Great rental for a reunion!

Very nice rental. Had 3 couples and one single adult. Beds and rooms were great. Very functional for relaxing after our school reunion activities! Well stocked with pans and utensils for the one breakfast we cooked in the rental. Super easy to find, great hosts. Highly recommend!!!

Norwich Parent’s Weekend

We were in the area for Parent’s Weekend at Norwich University. This property provided a perfect home base for our family. There are 5 bedrooms which allowed us to spread out comfortably. The dining room table was great for our meals. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

It's a great old farm house. We were only there for a night but it was a great space for our group of 8. Plenty of space to relax. Good internet. Well equipped kitchen. Comfy living room.

Beautiful house!

The bedrooms were plenty. Great location! No service for phones but Wi-Fi worked great. The house was clean. It's a little older but it had what we needed! Host responded right away with answers to our questions.

Sugarbush ski weekend

We had a great time this weekend. House had a big kitchen and dining room, spent a lot of time together in the living room catching up with old friends. Very warm and inviting space. Loved the house plants. Great location only a few minutes drive from Sugarbush. Overall no complaints- thanks for a great weekend.

Great spot walkable to mad river swim spot!

We fell in love with the mad river on our last trip to Vermont and knew we had to come back during the summer months. This big Vermont farm house was an amazing home base for us- we loved our stay. The home was very comfortable for our large group. It was walkable to the river- to get there it was a quick walk on a steep(ish) and (fairly) busy road and then a hike down a short but fairly steep river bank. We had a party of 7-68 year olds and everyone made the trek at least a couple times. Our two dogs were welcome and the backyard was perfect for them to lounge in (we brought a stake to tie the roamer out). The house is a 7 min trip to downtown waitsfield which is adorable for walking and shopping (theres also an awesome section of the mad river to swim there- kids were jumping off the covered bridge!!)

Vous êtes reçu par Colin Phillips

I grew up in Fayston in the Mad River Valley and attended Clemson University. After many years of coming back to Vermont, I've been able to settle down here in the valley where I operate two vacation rentals. You can find me fly fishing on a nearby stream, hiking a mountain, or tending to one of my properties!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This has the unique location of being walking distance to Warren village yet tucked away in the woods. I recently purchased this property and renovated the interior to provide guests with a comfortable home to which they can stay. I hope to build on a part of the property myself someday but in the meantime enjoy sharing it with others.
