When we first pulled up to the house my wife was a little iffy. However as soon as we stepped inside all those hesitations went away. The inside is very nicely refurbished, clean & well stocked for our weekend needs. Thank-you for opening up your home to us.
Amazing attention to detail for things we may have forgotten to pack (shampoo, conditioner, body wash). The area guide, with TV and Internet information was much appreciated.
The wood for the fireplace was nice, although we didn't use it. The patio was nice but, due to the weather, we didn't use.
Would definitely stay here again!
Hi, We are a couple of Michigan Tech graduates who love the U.P. and all the sights and activities that the Keewenaw Peninsula has to offer! We raised a small family in our first home in Lake Linden which has now been converted to a short-term rental property. We chose the name because it roughly translates to "At Home in Lake Linden" in French which nicely fits with the old local name for Lake Linden which was Frenchtown. We hope you enjoy staying and having fun in the U.P. as much as we do!
This is a small single family home that is being offered at the same nightly rate as a mid-level hotel in Houghton, Hancock or Calumet which is a tremendous value for your money, especially if you are planning to visit with family. It has 2 dedicated bedrooms and a walk-thru with another bed. It also has a full bathroom and another 1/2 bathroom right next to the fireplace room downstairs. It is in a quiet neighborhood, close to the town park and restaurants.
