La maison est une maison principale de 5 chambres / 4 salles de bain complètes et 2 salles d'eau avec une maison d'hôtes de 2 chambres / 2 salles de bain complètes. La maison d'hôtes est attachée par la grande véranda. La piscine est une piscine surdimensionnée avec une extrémité profonde de 8 pieds avec plusieurs chaises longues pour se détendre au bord de la piscine. La piscine a un chauffage pour les mois d'hiver. Le court de tennis et le demi-terrain de basket séparé sont parfaits pour la famille active. Le terrain de basket-ball a un éclairage pour le jeu en soirée. À l'intérieur de la maison principale se trouve une suite parentale massive, une immense salle de bain principale, des chambres d'hôtes avec lits King ou Queen et une chambre d'enfants avec 2 lits superposés pour 4 enfants. Il y a aussi une salle de jeux avec un coin table de billard et un grand espace de télévision attaché. Un immense garage pour 3 voitures est adjacent à la maison principale et un port de voiture est attaché à la maison d'hôtes. La cuisine est une cuisine gastronomique avec un poêle Viking à 6 brûleurs, un réfrigérateur à vin Viking et un grand îlot donnant sur le salon principal. Il y a plusieurs coins salons extérieurs pour profiter des jardins paysagers luxuriants. Il s'agit d'une maison spacieuse avec beaucoup d'espace pour profiter de l'intimité et de la beauté de Marco Island. Les plages et les restaurants sont tous à moins de 1,5 à 2 miles selon la destination, mais à proximité pour faire du vélo ou marcher. Il y a un emplacement de location de vélos à l'extrémité nord de l'île où des locations peuvent être organisées. La maison d'hôtes dispose d'un coin salon / télévision avec une cuisine séparée, d'une suite parentale et d'une suite d'invités avec lits superposés pour enfants ou adultes car le fond a un lit complet. Il y a 3 télévisions à la maison avec télévision par câble et Wifi dans toute la maison. Il y a un barbecue en plein air sur la véranda. Cette propriété est un paradis tropical prêt pour le plaisir de votre famille! En fait, au moment où vous arriverez ici, beaucoup de choses auront été mises à jour, à compter d'octobre 2019.

Family meeting ( Please make my review anonimous)

We had a wonderful family gathering with 20 people over 8 days.The house is very spacious, allowing people of different ages to interact or enjoy separate spaces as needed. The pool is the perfect size, with the water at an ideal temperature.There is a renovation process underway, but it did not affect our stay. The location is excellent, and communication with Tony was always quick and efficient.In summary, this is a highly recommended house for large groups who want to get together in a beautiful beach setting, with sunsets over the ocean that allow for longer afternoons on the beach, varied nature, good security, and attractive surroundings.

Family Trip for 16

Our family stayed in the house from January 11th to January 18th. The location of the house was great, a relatively quiet area with a grocery store just a few blocks away. We used the tennis court to play pickleball every day but the weather wasn’t great and the pool never warmed up enough to spend a lot of time in it. The pictures need to be updated as a few of them are overstated, especially the kitchen and back the yard. The house is definitely more worn than the pictures show. We did have a few issues around the house and were told that they were taking care of them the weeks following our stay. Hopefully they are all taken care of for the next visitors.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Cateau Marco! We enjoyed the pool every day! Great weather! The house is very comfortable and provided everything we needed to make our stay very enjoyable. We would definitely return to Marco and this house again!

The property was very spacious and had plenty to keep you busy or to just relax. The house is showing some age as there are small things that are broken throughout. Nothing that stopped us from enjoying our stay, but it needs a handy man to spend a day repairing cabintes, toilets, appliances etc

Beautiful, spacious property on Marco Island

This property is large and was absolutely perfect for our purposes. Each of our children was able to have his / her own room with private bath. The pool and tennis courts were amazing, and greatly enjoyed by all. I'm sure that the recent updates improved the property significantly, but prospective renters should be aware that they are not getting a brand new place. The outdoor furniture was different than was suggested by the pictures; certain games were inoperable (eg. Connect four), the play house in poor shape, and the "empty" building somewhat of an eyesore. Having said that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would be happy to come back.

The property was well cleaned and the checkin process was good. However, there were a lot of things broken in the house which made the stay less then perfect. First, the bidet in the master bathroom was leaking heavily from the base leaving large pools of water on the ground. This could be dangerous. The Bathtub in the master was broken. The dishwasher was broken. A lot of the fixtures were broken throughout the house. Pool lights did not works ect... The House was clean but not maintained well. Very unfortunated especially for the price we paid.

Rental is falsely advertised has mold & owner not responsive

Having rented from VRBO multiple times, we will never rent from them again after this experience. This home is NOT as advertised in the description. VRBO did not offer any assistance in dealing with this unresponsive home owner.There was black mold in a bedroom off the billiards room where my pregnant sister was sleeping we noticed it 3 days into the trip.The main slider door in guest house is broken we could not lock it I had small kids sleeping just inside. No beach chairs or supplies as advertised. Multiple outlets and lights not working, including pool lights made it dark for night swimming with Little’s. Shower handle didn’t work in guest house master. We contacted owner immediately with issues and he was not helpful, since our stay he did offer a refund, but still has not followed through on that.

DO NOT STAY HERE

When we arrived we immediately were hit with a terrible odor and discovered a dead rat covered in maggots in the house. We also had no running water. The host continually promised that the "Property Manager" was on the way to fix things. No one ever showed up; I suspect there is no property manager. We removed rat and disinfected area ourselves. We eventually figured out how to turn water on and did that ourselves. Master bath had huge puddle on floor and toilet was inoperable. We bought a new mop and cleaned floor ourselves. Host had told us about toilet/bath problem the day before and promised he would issue us a partial refund. Many other things did not work in house which was very dated. Pool was not heated until mid-week when pool guy came and I asked him about it. Owner has completely ghosted us about refund. VRBO stinks and has been absolutely no help at all. All in all this was a very bad experience which is a shame because property has great potential.

Marco Island family reunion

The house was very large and had adequate room for all 17 of us. The kids loved the bunk room, and the pool was a great hit, as was the tennis court and basketball court. Overall, it was a really nice week for our family. Unfortunately, two bathrooms had outlets that didn't work (one with a hairdryer) as well as burned out lightbulbs. Water leaked from the outside shower into the bathroom and bedroom below, but no response from a text to the manager. Several other small issues should be taken care of with a walk-through of the house before the next renters arrive.

Spacious with great pool!

We had a wonderful time with our family. The pool was fabulous and the beds were comfortable. The reason we give it 3 stars is that the house had multiple deficiencies, such as lightbulbs missing, broken blenders and toaster. There were plenty of inflatable toys but the pump was broken. There were tennis rackets, but no tennis balls. The owner did send a new blender on the day before we left and assured us that he would attend to the other deficiencies on the property. Despite these annoyances the property provides a great venue for a family gathering.

Florida 2022 Family Vacation

Dated but functional. We had sixteen in our group (8 adults and 8 kids ranging in age 7-18 years) so plenty of sleeping spaces. Great outdoor space for kids. Loved the pool. Also has tennis court and basketball hoop which the older kids and adults utilized. Game room with pool table.👍 Games and puzzles 👍 Liked the Turtle Sanctuary. Close and easy to drive to all activities and grocery stores. Visited both beaches. On the down side. Owner might want to check on faculties once in awhile. Fence broken, outside lawn chairs are coming apart, two toasters didn’t work, three blenders did not work, some of the furniture is stained., lights and lamps needed lightbulbs. Needed more dish towels. (which we bought and left). Faucet in one bedroom leaked. Had to clean pool when we arrived. It would be nice if it had some window coverings facing the street side. Found a dead cockroach! But we had a great time of being together.

Fabulous house on Marco Island!

This beautiful home on Marco Island was the perfect place for my 70th birthday celebration. We ladies had a wonderful time. The property is very lovely and the pool area is fantastic. The beach is close , shops, eateries, and the burrowing owls were worth the trip alone. Fantastic time on Marco Island.

Marco Island mega home.

The property was huge with many amenities including a large pool, tennis court and a small basketball court. Home was being cleaned as we arrived. The home certainly would benefit from a refresh. Many elements seemed years old. With that said, it was comfortable and a very good location. A large pool deck with table that easily accommodated 12-13 people. Would likely visit again but would prefer some new elements.

Christmas 2021

I took my family, a total of 17 people, to Marco Island for Christmas. It was a great place for everyone. The house is huge! The kids and adults were always busy there--swimming, playing in the game room, playing tennis, basketball, or pickleball. The pool area is beautiful for a large group. We would definitely stay there again.

Great place to gather for work or relaxation!

We rented this party for a planning retreat. The property worked very well for our needs, all six couples were able to have their own spaces and there was plenty of room to gather for meetings, games, and other activities. The Marco Island area is very nice, the pool was very spacious, we were very pleased with the trip!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is very large with lots of different areas for large groups. Pool and patio area are also very nice. Location is good. We rented golf carts to travel around the island.

i gave this property a 5 because 10 was not an option. I have been booking vacation houses for the family for the past 11 years and there was never one where everyone said they wished we could stay at longer. This was the most well stocked kitchen we have been in. And the game room and outside area made for a wonderful time. And Tony was very responsive to all our questions. already booked a house for next year in Orlando and know it will not (cannot) compare to this one. Thank you Tony.
