Awesome vacation home. Kid friendly. Great views! Great location.
Fantastic location. Fantastic views of the mountain. Great home with an old school cabin feel and decor. We brought two grandbabies with us and it is a Kid-Friendly. All the amenities that you would need are here. Plenty of room to spread out between all the porches. Both indoor and out door. Would have been nice to have a washer and dryer, but no biggie as there is a laundromat in town.
Our family outing consisted of 6 people over the age of 69. Actually, half of us are over 80 years of age. Even though most of the bedrooms were on the upper level, everything worked out wonderfully. We enjoyed the mountains, the restaurants in Estes Park and just lounging around the house, talking and playing games. We would do it again in a heartbeat.
Loved our stay here! Adorable home with plenty of room to spread out. Loved the little touches like binoculars, hummingbird feeder, logs for the fire, fans and heaters, well stocked kitchen, etc. Very cozy home with a phenomenal view!!!
This property was perfect for our stay! Right across the street from the Beaver Meadows visitor center and within 10 minutes to the entrance gate. We were so close to the park we were able to go for morning hikes and evening strolls around Bear Lake the house itself is a rustic cabin.
Wonderful enclosed porch that is large, that goes all the way across the width of the house. Very homey environment close to Estes stores and to the Rocky Mtn Park entrance

Our family has been visiting this cabin for years and love it! The location is perfect, with great views and easy access to the park. The kids enjoy playing games on the front porch and making sâmores in the fireplace each night. The updated main level bathroom from a tub to walk in shower was a nice surprise this visit. We love that there is enough space to spread out and enjoy our downtime reading, doing a puzzle or just enjoying the view. We certainly plan on returning next year!
Absolutely stunning views and easy check ins and very responsive management but the place needs so updates. The beds were all pretty bad. We actually were fighting about who got to sleep on the couch. The tv was broken and heat didn't work so some nights were pretty cold.
Overall we had a great time and the cabin was perfect! We got really lucky with cool weather during our stay, so not having an A/C wasn't a problem at all! We had 2 large Elk bucks show up right at the cabin on our last night and a rainbow also showed itself - it was very magical!
The only thing I want to point out to those considering this cabin is that you are VERY close to other cabins. The pictures are deceiving in that way, we were expecting to have some privacy but you almost feel like you are in a mini compound with other cabins so close to you. I wish that would've been disclosed. I don't think it would've prevented us from choosing this cabin, but it would be a nice thing to tell people.
We love the cosy vintage feel of this cabin. The huge classed-in porch with an unrestricted view of the mountains is priceless. The cabin is well equipped with just about everything you would ever need. Thereâs even a piano for our grandson who is a musician. We have stayed here several times and hope to return.
We had an amazing time at Longs Peak Cabin. The cabin was very charming and well stocked with all of the essentials. The views were remarkable and Rocky Mountain National Park was super close. Our family and friends had a wonderful time and made memories for a lifetime. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
We chose this house because it was so close to the park and it helped us get into the park early. Not having a washer/dryer made packing pretty tricky. Otherwise it was a perfect spot.
Loved the house and the location was perfect. The house was very
clean and met all our needs. The view from the enclosed porch was
amazing!! I hope to stay here again.
We loved spending time on the amazing porch at Longâs Peak cabin and would likely return to experience the view and family time in the great setting. Being so close to the park was wonderful. Weâve been to Estes Park for the past several summers and this was one of our favorite rentals. There were also a few issues to note - especially for traveling with small children. This was the first time weâve seen a mouse in a VRBO rental. And this mouse was very active! He seemed well at home and not super excited that we were there with him. The house is on well water and the water is noticeably yellow in the tub. We werenât worried from a health perspective, but something to be thoughtful of if you have more sensitive/sensory kids (it didnât work for one of our kids). There isnât a washer and dryer at the house. The property doesnât advertise one, but just something to keep in mind if you sometimes forget to check the amenity list. There is a laundromat close by.
The close proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park was great. The house was also well stocked with games, puzzles, and toys that our kids (ages 1, 3, 6, 8) enjoyed all week. The reasons for a 1 star reduction is the lag in responsiveness from Vacasa with questions or issues with the house. The shower rod was broken when we arrived and they fixed it 2 days later.
This is what a mountain cabin should be like. No marble, stainless remodel stuff. Irâs a charming, vintage, loved by many generations place. Perfect for making our own memories. This was our second visit with sonâs family. The housekeeping team is super. Cabin is spotless. Fully outfitted with everything you will need. The piano is in tune, hummingbird syrup ready, plenty of games and puzzles. And the view!!!! Framed Longâs Peak! Weâll be back. (Be sure to get reservations in advance for Park access.)
We just stayed here for the past week 6/25-7/1/22. Weather was perfect during the day with a few rain showers in the afternoon.
Home is as pictured with plenty of room and came with everything we needed to make meals when we didnât want to go out. We loved hanging outside on the patio or the covered porch with the amazing views. The location was also great to downtown Estes, coffee shops, grocery store and RMNP entrance. We also saw many different birds, mule deer, and Elk right on the property.
We did have a few issues with the heating unit and a leaking kitchen sink, but the staff were super responsive and came right over to address and fix these items.
The only thing that would have been helpful to know is if we could use the fireplace. It was chilly some mornings but we were not sure if we could light it.
