The property offered a wonderful view of the mountains and was a quick drive to amenities in town. We had 7 people staying during our trip and there was room enough for everyone to be comfortable. We would definitely stay again!
Place is great but keep in mind if u visit in the summer months the unit does not have AC so mid day it gets a little warm. Otherwise a great spot for families. Garage parking was nice for unloading and loading. Lots of steps to navigate so keep that in mind.
The house is clean & has a great view. It's close enough to estes park downtown, grocery & RMNP. It will not be suitable for people who does not like to climb stairs. There are lots of stairs at the house, both inside & out.
Very clean, conveniently located. We enjoyed being away from the craziness of downtown, but just a short drive from everything we needed. Property was well maintained and had everything we needed for a group of 5 adults.
great views - a little outdated home - too many stairs to get to top floor (was exhausting climbing over & over - needs more parking spots! otherwise was ok. expected nicer for the $ I paid though.
Pillows were very flat. Beds very hard. Living room furniture dated and a tear in the chair. But the location was great. We saw elk on the property every day. Itâs roomy and fun.
This isn't a fancy condo with lots of amenities, but as a landing pad at the end of a fun day outside, this worked great for our family of 4. The location is great- amazing views of the mountains, close to Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park, and on a quiet private drive. The condo could use updating but there were lots of clean towels, comfortable beds, and a kitchen stocked with the basics. **The maintenance team was trying to manage it, but we had mice in the condo. We called and daily they came and emptied and reset traps. We did not appreciate our uninvited guests!
This three bedroom property is located about 2 miles from the entrance to RMNP and about the same distance from downtown Estes. The unit is spacious with incredible views. Anyone would appreciate the quiet and the views! The living offers comfortable seating and all the beds were firm with nice sheets. The upstairs room, with the twin beds, were perfect for our grandchildren. The kitchen had adequate utensils and was easy for cooking. Dining room table was able to seat our group of six. The unit was very clean. We missed having a working grill and garage door opener. We enjoyed the Big Rec poster! And would like to offer thanks to some fellow Nebraskans!đ
Property was as described. And -- lots of stairs! Of course I had the heaviest suitcase, and my husband had to take up 3 flights. No, he was not amused. The condo was clean and worked out well for our group of 5. We were hoping to see some wildlife, but all we saw were a few turkeys, and once we saw 2 elk in the neighborhood. The sunrise was nice, as was seeing the moon over the mountains.
A few notes that may be helpful. There were no potholders in the kitchen. Made it a challenge when using the oven. There wasn't really enough forks/spoons, and we had to keep cleaning the few there so we could use them again. No Kleenex was there either. A binder with info would be helpful, as it relates to using tv etc. Also weren't sure if we were to take garbage out, since we were there over 1 week. Sent message asking, but never received a reply. Also, there didn't appear to be any recycling. Yes, that drives me crazy. I separated it all and took it into town to recycle bins at visitors center.
The screen door on the front was torn (a lot!) and therefore, we never felt we could leave the main door open, as bugs/moths wanted to join us. We didn't want to be their friend.
The fan in the 2nd floor bathroom sounded like it was dying a slow death. Only used it once, as it was very loud and sounded as though it may 'blow' at any minute.
When using the washer, and putting it on cold water, the water still came out hot. Tried switching it to hot, thinking they may have been switched, but that didn't seem to help much.
A key pad for the garage door would be quite helpful.
Wi-fi always worked without any issues.
If you will be shopping at Safeway for groceries, which is pretty much your only option, I suggest you get a Safeway card. It will save you quite a bit of $, and then you get rewards too. We got 20 cents off our gas after hitting 100 points (I think). Well worth getting the card, and not paying "tourist" prices. :-)
We would stay here again if in the area. We liked how close it is to the entrance to Rocky Mountain, and not having to go thru town to get there.
We loved the scenery looking out the living room windows seeing the mountains and sun rise! Looking out the back door was pretty neat also! Loved our stay!
We loved the location, thought the place was clean but it was quite dated with a good degree of wear showing in a lot of areas. Awesome views and overall a great time. Style and decor are the only downsides at 3 stars but the rest was 5 stars.
We loved the location of this condo. It was minutes from the national park. The bedrooms were a great size. The only down side would be the lack of supplies. There were only 2 kitchen towels and no dish cloths. There was very little dish soap and no large spoons for mixing.
