We are in town for my sisterâs wedding and this cabin was perfect! All the space and amenities we needed! We felt right at home. Will highly recommend this place to everyone and will gladly book again!
Our family really enjoyed this home. They were 8 of us there. It had a beautiful view saw wildlife out of our window. We will rent this place again. Wish we rented it for longer. Thank you for making our vacation something to remember for a long time.
I stayed here with several family members including my grandchildren and we all loved it. We saw some reviews mention that the place and decorations felt dated but we thought it was actually very homey and cute and my daughter in law took several pictures as inspiration for her own home. We enjoyed being so close to downtown and we also had a sense of privacy from only having a few neighbors. The place was very clean and had great spaces to relax and spend time together. Overall, a great experience to be here with family and spend time in Estes. We hope to be back. The only downside is that most of the beds were not very comfortable.
Amazing location and views! Home was very clean, but all of the furniture and beds/bedding very old and outdated. The kitchen floor was cracked and I got a cut on the bottom of my foot from the broken tile. The upstairs shower and ceiling had mold. It was very large and we didnât use all the beds. Again, great location.
I loved the spaciousness of the kitchen. My favorite part of this home is the outside deck. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the beautiful deck, listening to the birds, and smelling the fresh pine. Even though the trees partially blocked our view, the Fourth of July firework show was spectacular from the deck. The home provides lots of privacy, yet it is located near all the downtown amenities. We walked from the property to the gorgeous Lake Estes Trail. It was also a comfortable walking distance to the downtown area, which has many shops and restaurants to enjoy by the river. I would love to visit this property in the future.
Beautiful location and views, possibly the worst sleep Iâve ever had
The house is great! Charming and could certainly use some modern updates, but everything was in working order. The only complaint we had were the beds, which were either too hard (upstairs) or so saggy in the middle (downstairs) that my wife and I kept rolling into each other during the night. Neither of us got a good nights sleep while there. This is the only thing keeping us from on considering renting this house again. There are also no blinds on the downstairs bathroom, which made using it a constant struggle, always making sure no one was walking or driving by the front of the house.
This property was very good - clean, well stocked with cleaning, bedding, towels/linens, etc. The house is old, but still in good condition. Some low cost improvements could be done - easy open/close curtains in living/dining room over the two sets of double outside doors, light weight Walmart $65 easy to use vacuum cleaner, some touch up or re-do painted trimming, small bathroom electric heaters, Over all a good family visit! We would definitely stay at this place again.
Book this house!! Nestled in the mountains overlooking Lake Estes, this house has everything you will need.... plenty of blankets, cookware, appliances, etc... such charm and feel. A 3 min drive to the Visitor Center and 12 min to RMNP. I will definitely book this house again!!
Hiking mania in 70s enjoyed Rocky Mountain NP and this cozy & well-located house was a great plus.
House was bit old but everything was in order and convenient, supplies like linen, shampoo, trash bags were well-stocked. Just minutes to supermarket & shops on foot!
Was a good pick.
Loved it!!! Don't be scared of "no air conditioning" ....its truly not needed....cool nights are awesome for sleeping! Enjoyed the variety of wildlife and the closeness to town happenings, friendly neighbors in a awesome country setting !
My family enjoyed the spacious cabin just above Estes. Weâve stayed at other cabins but prefer this location for its size and convenience located within walking distance to Estes.
The house is in the perfect location. Very close to the main street shops and grocery store and dining. We saw elk and rabbits in the yard during our stay, against the backdrop of the beautiful mountains.
Weâre used to having air conditioning, and the house doesnât have it, but we really didnât miss it. There are plenty of fans if needed, and it was cool most of the time we were there. The windows are all new and were very easy to open for a cool breeze.
We were very comfortable in the house. It is an older house, and we reminisced about things inside that reminded us of grandparentsâ homes. We enjoyed it very much!
