We stayed two nights. The rooms were small, but we were out all day anyway so that didnât bother us. The floors were incredibly creaky, so it woke everyone up when someone got up in the middle of the night. The beds and living room furniture were incredibly comfortable! The location is great, itâs SUPER close to RMNP. Overall, it worked well for our needs.
Loved the location and having your own standalone cabin. That being said, for the price that we paid only 1 and a partial of toilet paper rolls were provided and made a stink about not usually providing additional toilet paper, for a family of 4 staying close to a week. Other than that, great cabin and location.
Bed was comfy along w living room to visit in. Definitely need to take more time in cleaning cabin and sweeping/mopping. Floors were super creaky but we are used to that in an older home so it didnât bother us.
This house is certainly not fancy, but it's fine for what it is. Everything was clean, and it worked for my small family's short stay. Those squeeky floorboards are no joke though. There will be zero sneaking around.
Let me start this post with saying Iâve never left a negative review of any place weâve ever stayed, but this place deserves it. It needs some work before anyone else stays there. Iâve also already tried contacting the company over a week ago and they still have not responded.I will start with the positive, the location is very close to RMNP and that is great. Itâs a very short drive to get to the entrance and that was wonderful. Thatâs where the positives endâŠWe are also no frills accommodation people, we donât need luxury, just functional. We are often very busy during the day and only use our place to sleep at night. This wasnât even good for that. To start, the floors are absolutely awful, and need to be replaced in the majority of the house. If anyone gets up in the middle of the night the whole house will be awake. There were moldy ice trays in the freezer which was disgusting, old broken door knobs left out on top of the water heater, and the front door wouldnât stay shut most of the time. There was also no coffee maker in the house (they did drop one off), and there is NO LAUNDRY, despite it being in the listing twice. Lastly, there is a narrow road that leads up to this place and there is no mention of it in any of the E-mails (the speed limit isâŠ), but it is not wide enough for 2 cars, resulting in us sliding into a ditch and requiring a 250 tow truck experience to get out of the ditch⊠just awful. This place was a major damper on our trip.
The location was fabulous. So close to the park entry and also had services available nearby. The home was clean overall. Furniture was comfortable. The gas grill was an awesome addition. As other reviewers have said, the squeaking floors on the kitchen/bedroom side of the home made for interrupted sleep if someone got up at night or stayed up later, but it was not a deal breaker. Management was responsive both by text and phone, so the minor questions I had were answered immediately. This is not a luxury cabin, but that isn't what we were looking for. It was clean, comfortable, and affordable in the location we wanted. I would stay there again.
While the property was very clean, with comfortable beds, and great location, there were several areas of improvement that would have made our stay much better.
For one, the floors in the kitchen and hallway were extremely squeaky, so bad, you would wake others up if you walked on them.
There wasn't a washer/dryer which is needed if you stay any significant length. Wifi would kick you off after only 5 minutes, requiring repeated logins. No bed or pillow liners.
Cabin is very small, especially the bedrooms. Clean.
Location to park and downtown is good, although it is on a bumpy dirt road. As mentioned in other reviews, wood floors are very noisy, squeaky.
This was a great spot to stay that was close to the Beaver Entrance. The floors are very squeaky but that was not a problem for us. It is easy to open up all the windows and really cool the place off at night. The BBQ works great. Hopefully they get the fridge fixed as it froze all our produce even after turning it down
We stayed here primarily to hike Rocky Mountain National Park and this place was in a perfect location for that. The street that the house is off of is right next to the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance sign that everyone takes pictures next to so it took us no time in the morning to get to the park. It is also located just out side of the Estes Park main area so it takes no time to get there as well. We had Elk all around the property our first morning there which was amazing. Only downsides of the property are the floor creaks like crazy so if someone wants to sleep while another is up it is almost impossible but we were up early to go hiking everyday so that wasnt an issue for us. We didnt need much more than a good place to sleep that was close to the park and this place worked out excellent for all of our needs.
The cabin was perfectly located for us, very near Beaver Meadow entrance to RMNP and the Y, a few restaurants and a market nearby - could even walk. Host very responsive. This is one of several homes, but nice views and well stocked.
We enjoyed our stay here but the floor creaking was a little loud. The family room is super cozy / comfy. The dining area has great windows. We loved the porch!
The size of the cabin was perfect for our family of 5. Vacasa was very easy to work with. The cabin was clean. There were plenty of towels and bedding. A nice easy, close drive into Estes Park. The floor in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom made a loud creaking sound when anyone walked on it and this made it difficult for the kids to stay sleeping in the morning.
The location and views are wonderful at this cabin. The reason I gave it a 4 is because the bedrooms are small and there are no conveniences like a dishwasher and washer and dryer. The furniture in the living room has been nicely updated since the pictures in the post.
The cabin was very small, two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with stacked bunks and barely enough room to turn around. It is basic living, there are no extra amenities. My disappointment was no washer and dryer, nor a dishwasher, but again, if you do not mind roughing it go for it. Price point is too high for the lack of amenities and I believe Vacasa needs to do a better job of vetting rentals in there network!
The home was very clean and well kept. Its located in a quiet neighborhood, with great access to Rocky Mountain National Park and Downtown Estes Park. Highly recommend!
The house was a great size for 3 people. Could comfortably sleep 4, 5 if people are sharing the master bed. They have all the utensils/plates youâd need as well as cleaning supplies and seasonings in the cabinets. Also very close to the RMNP park entrance, and not a lot of traffic in the area which is great. Check in and out was super easy. Would highly recommend!
