Overall decent stay, best feature is the proximity to the beach. The beds are uncomfortable and the space is smaller than the pictures make it look. One of the bathroom doors did not lock.

The overall location view, layout , and amenities are great at Summerhouse. The issues with our visit come from general cleanliness, maintenance, and communication of the management group for this unit, Emerald Coast Destinations. The A/C in the unit would not cool below 72 and in the heat of the afternoon and evenings the temperature at the thermostat would reach 75 degrees most days and reached 77 the day we left. We communicated about the issue the second day of our visit as the office was closed on Sundays. Our complaint was logged and noted daily but there was no follow-up call or maintenance person sent out to check on the situation. There was also mold or mildew in the AC register that caused an order that hit you in the face every-time you returned to the room. Needless to say we spent extra time on the beech and at the pool as our condo was simply not pleasant especially for my wife. The unit needed a deep cleaning and a refresh on pillows, blankets and couch covers as many of them were stained from use. I personally cleaned the sliding glass doors so we could properly enjoy the great view from our balcony, as well as the balcony floor and the track for the sliding glass door. ECDI needs to step up their game. I unfortunately only checked their reviews after our arrival and wish I would have checked much sooner and avoided them entirely. The refund of 200 wasn’t worth being miserable in the evenings and just ok the rest of the time.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: unit not cleaned very well, items of clothing still in different location of rooms, floor left feet black, several cockroaches. (Terminix notice was in elevator and end of stay).. Elevator not reliable will live you stuck inside.. There is a huge draft at entrance that sounds like a tornando is coming thru at all times. Refergator shelves broken and leaked water all over floor (Maintenance notified & came he was very friendly) There was a wedding on Wed and we were told we had to leave beach area by 3 pm and was unable to use the pavilion it was in use also. Unprofessional without thought of other guest staying at complex...Property management we will use again but wont be staying at Summerhouse 0202

Wonderful condo in a great location!

This condo was exactly as described, and perfect for our family of four! We had a minor issue with the A/C unit freezing up, but maintenance resolved the issue very quickly. We hope to stay at this property on future trips to PCB!

Great family place

My family rented this condo for a week. The location was great. It was a short walk to the beach, which made it easy to setup everyday. The complex has multiple spray off areas coming from the beach. The condo itself was perfect for 5 people. Plenty of room. Being on the second floor was very convenient because the elevator can get backed up. We had a great time! I would definitely stay again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The summer house condo was terrible. We arrived with the host that's checking us in that the elevator is out. I asked how long she wasn't sure. So, I contacted the Emerald Coast Destinations about the issue. Their response was talk to the manager there. First me about the elevator being replaced.2nd they should have asked if i would like to be in the other building or another Emerald Coast Destinations. So with that being said nothing was offered. We actually left 3 days early cause my hips couldn't handle up and down the steps. Over all was terrible experience

Good Vacay!

We really enjoyed our stay. The only bummer was the elevator was broken the entire week we were there. Stairs were a little difficult with a 5 year old. Other than that, it was great!

Condo

It was perfect location. However elevator was down all week. When ask they just said it would be fixed sometime. It was hard walking the stairs and we were not offered a lower floor.
