Belle escapade en motoneige, pêche, sentiers de VTT et activités sur le lac

Sentiers de motoneige et de VTT à Itasca, Smokey Hills, et les forêts de l'État de Deux-Inlets sont juste à côté, la pêche au lac fantastique toute l'année et de nombreuses activités sur le lac! À seulement 15 minutes de Park Rapids où il y a de bons magasins et restaurants. Osage est moins de 5 minutes où il y a tout ce dont vous avez besoin; épicerie, liqueur, gaz, appâts et un restaurant avec de la bonne nourriture! Notre cabine est belle et peut accueillir confortablement 5 et nous avons plusieurs matelas pneumatiques et un camping-car supplémentaire qui peut accueillir beaucoup plus. Nous avons une vue magnifique sur le lac, foyer au gaz, 2 chambres, 2 salles de bain et 2 foyers extérieurs.

Nice cabin, enjoyed the water/water toys/propane fire pit and the owner was easy to work with. Our kids loved the built in beds:) A rocking chair in main area would have been nice, hope to come back next year!!

Straight Lake

Owners are easy to work with. Straight Lake is an interesting lake in that it's so narrow in some areas that it is like a river. The Lake does not have much boat traffic so it's generally quiet. The cabin is nicely situated.

4 days at straight lake trip

The rental had almost everything we needed in house and outside too. Beautiful view, fairly easy walk to dock. Wonderful deck fire area. Not many biting bugs. Nice walks on dead end road. Great kitchen. Rustic lake decor laid back feel. Disliked the hot/cold showers and older adults could not use top full bunk. Might suggest bringing upper bunk to floor level. Plumbing issues.long dog hair in many places in house. I felt i needed to, so cleaned many areas of dog hair, we have allergies. Overall if showers were consistent temp and no dog hair. Would stay again. Basement bunk room was a hit with our kids.

Views & Pontoon

We spent so much time out on the pontoon both fishing & relaxing and had so much fun! The convenience and view of the lack access is hard to beat. Location was great! We enjoyed our stay!

Family Vacay

My family and I had a great time staying at this property! The kids were entertained with all the lake toys and the adults relaxed soaking up the lake views. We rented the pontoon during our stay and we got out on the lake as much as we could. It was just what we were looking for!

We had a great weekend at the cabin playing games, swimming, and fishing. The owners were awesome to work with and their communication was awesome. The cabin was exactly what we needed. We cannot wait for the opportunity to visit again

Wonderful Retreat

Our stay was so relaxing and fun! It was homey feeling and comfortable. It had everything we needed. Beds were comfy and warm. Close enough to go shopping in Park Rapids. We played games and spent hours relaxing outdoors in the deck with the fire pit. Thank you for a great place to enjoy the scenery and enjoy family time.

10/10 would recommend!!

Our family of 5 and our small dog had the BEST stay! The house is warm, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were very comfortable and everyone slept great! The main attraction was the beautiful lakefront! The view from the deck is beautiful and the perfect place for a morning cup of coffee. The propane fireplace in the deck is the perfect place to roast some marshmallows and spend time at night with the family. Our kids LOVED using the lily pad, and we all had fun kayaking!

Beautiful place! Quiet and peaceful!

Property is manicured, place is clean! Nice set up on the deck and the grounds for having a fire to relax and enjoy the lake. Never stayed in a place that was so quiet and peaceful. Has everything you would need, kitchen was very functional. Comfortable sleeping too! Gate on the deck was nice for my dogs. Enjoyed every minute I was there. Only 5 minutes to Osage. Great find on VRBO 😁 a big THANKS to the owners!

We loved this place!!

This place was great! The fire pit outside was easy to get to and for the first time in years all 4 of us made it down to the fire! Even twice! We loved the deck and the golden lights on the rail were a nice touch. Since I was sleeping in the living room, the lights lulled me to sleep. The large windows facing the lake were a favorite to all. The kitchen layout was great and gave us room to have a buffet style setup for dinner. I got some good sunrise photos from the deck but we had cooler weather, so no water adventures. We’d recommend this place to others and hope to return ourselves!

Beautiful Lake Cabin in a Great Location

Our family overall had a wonderful time! Lots to do: fishing (caught walleye) , swimming in the lake, pontoon rides, lily pad was a blast for kids, paddle boat, kyaking, and a quick trip to Lake Itasca State Park which was only 30 min away. The water had more algea than I had hoped by the dock but the kids didnt care and snorkled around in the lili pods. We loved the loons and listening to them sing. The house had a musty smell when we first enetered. That old farmhouse smell after a strong rain. But once we opened the windows and got the fans blowing you didnt notice the musty smell anymore. We loved that the house was in a pirvate setting with trees all around. The communication with the property owner was top notch!! They answered questions and were very helpful!! You could tell they loved their lake side cabin and wanted you to love it to, which we did!!

Amazing place

This cabin has everything we needed to relax and enjoy. If you are looking for a great getaway this cabin is it!!!! It has a fire pit close to the lake so you can have a nice big fire or a gas fire pit on the deck, which we used one night because it was to windy for a big fire. The allow dogs which my dogs loved the huge space to run and play all day long, also has an outdoor kennel so when we ran to town they got to enjoy the outdoors inside of the inside. Their pontoon was a highlight of the trip just cruising around the lake getting some sun. We stopped often to jump in and cool down or just to take in the scenery. The bald eagles flying around and loons swimming was really cool to see. This place definitely gave me all the feeling of the cabin we had as a kid. From the smells of pine trees to the feeling of no care in the world. I will be for sure booking this place again the host was so nice and easy to work with and had no problems at all. Everything was as they said it would be and we just jumped into vacation life right when we got there. Thank you again for letting us enjoy your cabin and we will be back.

Weekend getaway

This property was absolutely perfect for our weekend. We rented their pontoon boat, as well. We fished, swam, rode atv trails and cruised the lake in the boat. It was the most relaxing trip we have ever had. The views were breathtaking from the back deck, also. I definitely would recommend this property to anyone!!

Lovely cabin!

The cabin was wonderful and the owner was very communicative! It was cozy, clean and had everything we could have needed. The views to the lake were great and we even spotted a Loon. I highly recommend this cabin and we’ll definitely be booking again in the near future!

Fun filled weekend!

We had an amazing time full of laughs and fun! The lake home has beautiful interior, is extremely clean and has a perfect outdoor area as well. We had a bonfire every night, swam, fished, paddle boated and kayaked! It was a much needed vacation for me and my family!

Cozy and peaceful

This was a great place for a short fall getaway. Beautiful Straight Lake and a full moon! We needed for nothing - cabin is well supplied and a comfy bed. We also enjoyed the cozy gas fireplace to take the chill off.
