We do provide chairs, umbrellas and lots of beach towels for our guests. The beach service that offers chaise lounges and chairs at the beach is a private business and everyone who chooses to use them has to rent them no matter where they stay.

The AC works just fine. Because we are so close to the gulf, it is maintained every quarter. This is summer in Florida by the beach. It is hot and humid. The AC units cannot run 24/7. Once the condo gets to the set temperature, the unit will shut off. That’s when the fans come in to keep the cold air circulating and help to keep the humidity down. That’s what they are for and they are meant to be used. That’s why we make sure that every room has one.

Kelli, We have never regulated the temperature at the condo in the many years that my family has owned it. The thermostat goes below 74 degrees. It looks like someone was trying to lower the temperature and hit the programming button which sets and locks the temperatures. With a few pushes of the buttons, that was changed back to normal. I wish you would have let us know you were having an issue, we would have had it fixed in a matter of minutes. The condo doesn’t have ceiling fans because it was built in the 1950’s and the lower units are not wired for them. We too wish we could have them. We do provide portable fans in both bedrooms though. Also if you saw any issues in cleaning, we would have fixed them immediately, if we had been notified. We throughly clean the entire condo between each stay. That includes vacuuming and steam cleaning all the floors and scrubbing down the kitchen and bathrooms. Cleaning every surface in the condo. I have the cleaning logs showing that all that was done before you arrived. Both toilets were even maintenanced by the plumber 2 days before your stay. Sometimes things may get missed, as you yourself said in the note you left. You called it “an easy miss". Just a few specks under the rim. Most likely something dislodged by the plumber when he was working on it. As far as the beach goes, the chairs on the beach belong to the Hyatt and Sea Club V. Nowhere in our listing do we say anything about renting those chairs. They are for their guests only. They have nothing to do with our condo complex and what we offer. We provide beach chairs, umbrellas and many beach towels for our guests to use. We are here to help, but we have to know when there is a problem. I’m sorry you had issues. A quick email, text message or call would have been all it took to get it fixed. It would have been taken care of promptly.
