Great apartment in great location. Yes, it is in the 4th floor walkup, but you kind of get used to it. The apartment is just as shown on the pictures. It's very charming and spacious. The AC works very well, which is not always the case in these rentals. Bathroom was perfect. The kitchen is in a semi closet, but has all you need. We didn't eat at all in the apt so we didn't use it, but looked well equipped. There were plenty of towels and they also made the sofa bed ahead of time knowing we were 4 staying there. Also, though there is a bar/small restaurant downstairs, it was not noisy at all, at least at this time of the year (late May). The host was great at communicating. Only issue is that initially they said we would be able to check in early (flying from the US the flights arrive early in the morning), but then they said it was not possible and had to wait until check in time. Then closer to check in they wanted us to wait even longer bc the cleaning crew had not come yet. Finally they let us in, as the crew came to clean as well. But overall communication was excellent with all 3 parties I had to work with.Lastly, location is great. Lots of restaurants nearby, Subway is about 5mn walk. The Coliseum is about a 8-10mn walk. Just perfect. We also walked to the Spanish steps but that was more like 20 minutes. We were in Rome for 3 days, so the location worked perfectly for the activities we had planned. Highly recommend this place as long as you don't mind a few stairs!
