Niché dans une petite ferme pittoresque juste à l'est de Bradenton, à 15 minutes des commerces et à 45 minutes de la plage est l'endroit parfait, une escapade abordable. Alliant le sentiment de la Floride ancienne avec un flair tropical, vous allez adorer tout ce que cette location de vacances a à offrir. Vous vous sentirez comme chez vous la minute où vous entrez dans cette adorable maison d'hôtes studio bénéficiant d'une cuisine complète / salle de séjour, salle de bain complète avec douche et un lit queen size. Ce studio "grange" se trouve au sommet de la grange la plus propre de Floride, abritant deux mini ânes et deux mini-chevaux, ainsi que 20 poulets, 3 lapins et 3 chiens (les tortues gopher et les familles de canards sont également un avantage) Les œufs frais seront livrés à votre porte sur demande, gracieuseté de nos poules heureux. Asseyez-vous sur votre balcon et contemplez l'étang rempli de poisson frais et admirez la vue sur la ferme. Avait une mauvaise journée? Cajolez un de nos doux ânes, toujours prêt à vous rendre heureux (et à eux aussi). Des plafonds aux poutres apparentes à la paix et la tranquillité que vos pièges à touristes ne peuvent fournir, vous ne voudrez plus jamais partir. Bienvenue dans votre maison loin de chez vous!

Fantastic and charming!

This property is easily the most unique, enjoyable and comfortable VRBO unit in which we,'ve rver stayed. The unit is located in 2nd floor of barn that houses donkeys and small horses, ans chuckens also occupy the site. The hostess, Maureen, was very friendly and nice, and our 2 week stay at the site was just great.

The listing was completely accurate. We found everything you'd need for a pleasant stay. The mini horses and donkeys were so cute and the farm fresh eggs were delicious. The location was perfect for us and we would definitely stay there again.

Peacful country Perfect

This place was a perfect quiet country peacful place with the most friendly animals and hosts. I went exploring all over during the day with many choices of things to do in the area and retreated to a comfy quiet studio at night. Thank you for a great vacation.

This peaceful family farm and genuine kind host and a surreal environment was so peaceful. so amazing a couple of kittens or ponies or maybe chickens always came by to say hello everyday.I will always want to stay here when i come to Florida .

Studio above a stable

I stayed here for the month of February and chose it because of location to family and affordability. I was not disappointed! It is located on the owners property but the family was not intrusive nor I to their privacy. Perfect place in the quiet country.

Quiet Respite within 45 minutes of all the action.

The intriguing animals on this farm make it a one of a kind gem. We were even greeted with a dozen colorful fresh eggs from their hens. Inside the place was clean and nicely decorated. The hosts were very responsive and pleasant.

Great time at Old Florida Getaway

We enjoyed our stay very much. We had everything we needed for our week’s visit and Maureen was especially helpful and accommodating. We were close to shopping and sightseeing when we wanted and away from the crowds when we wanted. Myakka River State Park is close and has wonderful opportunities to view birds and wildlife. We hope to be able to return again. This is a super home base to explore from!

A cute little place with even cuter animals

Everything was amazing and we had a lovely stay! The animals were super cute and the place was very clean. Paul and Maureen were both very accommodating as well, we had some scheduling conflicts and couldn't check-in until fairly late but they were super nice about it, and during our stay they were very quick and responsive to our questions and requests.

This was a wonderful location and very fairly priced. Paul and Maureen are excellent and attentive hosts! It was such a relaxing environment in the country. You're not in the congestion of downtown Sarasota, yet it's just a 30 to 45 minute drive, depending on where you're going. Loved being greeted daily by the animals and the fresh eggs were certainly the best we have ever had. Highly recommended.

Great place, great hosts, great stay!

Wonderful place! Clean, quaint and very comfortable. Would never have known we were upstairs of a barn, felt like a beach cottage. Lots of amenities including fresh eggs from the chickens (yum). Close to the Premier Sports Campus at Lakewood Ranch, the Naughty Monk Brewery, Cleveland Kitchen (we are from the CLE so this was a fun find) and Main Street at Lakewood Ranch. Hosts were just the right amount of available. They went above and beyond lending us camp chairs and coolers to use at the fields. Would stay there again when we are in the area.

FELT LIKE HOME!

My husband and I just spent 8 days at “the farm” and it felt like home right from day one. Maureen and her family were so accommodating and friendly. Our suite was located above the barn where the adorable mini horses and donkeys lived. It was immaculate, had all the essentials for our stay and despite it being above the barn, it was very quiet and there was no odour from our furry friends. We definitely would stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, country get away. Thank you Maureen and Declan💕

Cute apartment on Mini farm

Maureen and Paul’s apartment was well equipped, clean and comfortable. We so enjoyed the mini horses, donkeys and chickens . Property is fully fenced which allows the animals to roam where they please . The minis often greeted us at the apartment steps looking for a pet or a scratch behind their ears . Being an animal lover , I so enjoyed interacting with them . Very quiet and peaceful setting. Loved sitting out on the balcony watching the ponies . Maureen is very responsive and a pleasure to talk with . Thoroughly enjoyed our stay .

Relaxation on a beautiful farm

The house is a beautiful spacious studio. Comfortable bed, relaxing furniture, and a kitchen with everything you need to make great meals. The deck overlooks a pond with turtles, birds, and horses. Great place to have morning coffee or *wine* down the day with a great sunset. Great central location to many hiking trails, kayaking spots, an adventure park, and a short drive to beaches or the city. Maureen was very accommodating and quickly responsive. She let us interact with the animals which was a real joy. Honestly this is one of the most enjoyable places I’ve stayed in the past 10 years. Also great for a workcation as it had a desk and fast Internet. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great, quiet place away from the hustle and bustle

The Hudson family welcomed us with welcome arms. They greeted us when we arrived and introduced us to all the animals. It was a relaxing setting that took us both back to our childhood days when we were raised on our grandparents farms. We had fresh eggs, from the farm, every morning for breakfastThis was a very relaxing retreat away from all the in town action. It is conveniently located just 15 minutes away from all conveniences and approximately 40 minutes from the beach. Lake Manatee is less than 15 minutes away for those looking for lake fishing. Of course, the pond on the property has fish as well. If you're used to the city and want to get away from it all, this is the place for you. If you just love the country setting, this is the place for you. We will definitely be back to visit the Hudson family and spend time in this great getaway. Thanks for the great hospitality.

a wonderfully different kind of vacation

One Hundred Oaks farm is an outstanding vacation site. The peace and quiet, the night darkness, the animals and nature were all so awe inspiring. Maureen and her family were perfect hosts- communicative, helpful, friendly and respectful. I got to pet/play with the animals- mostly all mini sized and very friendly. The accommodations were very private and well kept, clean and had everything one might need- except actual food. Great AC and on the private deck- the most beautiful view of a small pond with lily pads and horses grazing at the water's edge. The apartment is above the barn- no smells- and only rarely the sound of a donkey or mini horse- something very different. A nice change from the sounds of cars driving by. In the early am the birds and roosters were a pleasant change of pace from the sounds of city life. This is a real working farm with animals, so be prepared for a few more bugs (repellant is a good idea) and bring proper shoes- flip flops are not a good idea. You can't get fresher eggs- some are only minutes old. The oak trees are spectacular- there really are over 100 and walking the property is amazing- many places to sit, think and relax. This is truly a completely different vacation experience- but when you want to rejoin the regular world- it is only a 20 min drive - to trendy, upscale and fast food restaurants, shopping, grocery stores and the like. Be aware that you have to bring your own food to eat- no uber or delivery available to the farm. But you do have great cellular service, wifi internet(2G/5G)and Dish TV. If you want to get away from it all- this is the place to go- and you don't have to break the bank to do the same. I would highly recommend this location.
