Great location for working on the water

House was great. Location on water for us perfect as we were working at a bird island nearby and had to travel by boat. Hot tub was awesome. Thank you for a great experience. Highly recommend for all, can see it as a great vacation house as well..

Amazing View

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house has an amazing view. You will see lots of dolphins. We caught a lot of trout and snapper.The side yard is not fenced in so I had to take my dog on multiple walks a day but the neighborhood is very clean and everyone I saw was very friendly.

Good location

The view was incredible and we were able to watch dolphins from the porch on a daily basis. The beach was at walking distance, but if you want something less crawded you may want to drive further. We ended up going to Caladesi island the last 3 days. The matress on the master bedroom was a little harsh on us and since it was just my husband and I, we ended up sleeping in the kids/guest room which was not a big deal for us.

Great water frontage, caught a bunch of fish off the dock and saw a lot of wildlife like many different birds and manatees and dolphins. Loved the convenience to beach and IRB restaurants/bars. Nice to have kayaks and bikes! Property was clean and WI-FI worked well. I’d definitely recommend this place.

A week in the sun!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay at Bahia Vista in Indian Rocks Beach. We really enjoyed the patio right on the water. Lots of boats, birds and a few dolphins! The beach access was 1/2 mile away and we usually walked. The house was clean and spacious with everything we needed to make meals and feel right at home.

September Indian Rocks Beach week stay

Wonderful property on the water and short walk to beach. All amenities in house are great. All extraneous amenities are within walking distance of house. Only negative was the multiple motion detector lights on the exterior of house. That is a negative for dark night people. Could be a positive for people who want the night to be as day. Overall, a great vacation house, close to the beach with a fishing dock.

Wonderful Christmas Vacation @ Bahia Vista

Bahia Vista is an incredible vacation home! The location of the home on the point of the intercoastal has to be one of the best in all of the IRB area. My husband caught a variety of fish daily just fishing off of the dock. We brought our kayaks & fished several days & caught an assortment of fish. Almost everyday several pods of dolphins would swim right by the dock as the dolphins tried to gather up the mullets in the channel. We hope to return again to Bahia Vista!

Another Outstanding Stay!

Reviewer Comments: We have been staying at Bahia Vista for the same week in March for the last 5 years - pretty much says we think the property and Long Key are great! It was nice this past March to see improvements in the kitchen, and a much-improved and expanded parking arrangement with a beautiful paver driveway. The view here of the Intracoastal is the real hero of the property, and the location is walkable to the beach, parks, and restaurants. We are already reserved, same month, same week next year! Highly recommend!

The kayaks, float matt, and dock all did their part fabulously and the hot tub did not disappoint. We also saw plenty of dolphins right in front of us; though it tends to mess up the fishing. :) We usually rent beachside and didn’t find the walk to be a big deal.

Paradise!

Great place to stay if you like being on water but don’t want/need beach. The wildlife is incredible - saw dolphins, manatees, sting rays and many different kinds of birds, including ducks. Boat activity up and down the intracoastal waterway was fun to watch. Local restaurants are good and plentiful! Great time!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Older house. Location was great. Loved the patio, watching dolphins & boaters. Could use some updating. Plaster ceiling in dining room is badly cracked. Furniture is breaking down & faded. Under cabinet lighting in kitchen is very suspect. Needs to be redone by a professional. Top of coffee maker was melted because lights burn too hot. Fire hazard. Hot tub was nice. Bathroom’s we’re nice, but drawers in master bathroom need to be fixed.

Another Amazing Stay

This vacation rental is perfect for us - we love the friendly neighborhood, the location, the attention to every detail at the property, and the responsiveness of Long Key staff. This year’s additions include a new tiki toss game out back, a nice touch when outside enjoying the view which is the real star of this property - and we also enjoyed that amazing view from the huge hot tub. Lastly it’s a huge bonus that this property being pet friendly. We are really happy with this great find! Highly recommend!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While the pictures on the site must have been several years old, the property was very clean when we arrived. The best part of the property is the back yard/patio. If you love watching dolphins, manatees, and an amazing assortment of birds, and boats, this is the place for you! We have always stayed on the gulf side, so I was worried about the transition to the intercoastal side. Needless to say we loved it! We spent 90 percent of our time on the patio. Glad we took a large umbrella to provide some shade in the mornings. We did some fishing. n' Didn't catch much, but enjoyed doing it. I would recommend this property without reservation. We also loved the fact we were able to take our dogs! Book this place! You'll love it!

Fantastic Home

The View

The listing was exactly as described. Sue was very responsive with communication. The View was outstanding and peaceful. We enjoyed all the boats going by and all the marine life. Take bug spray for outside as you will need it. While me and my husband prefer a soft mattress we slept in the guest bedroom as the beds were much softer. The battery operated toilet in the master bath could use some work. Thank you for a wonderful stay:)

Family Vacation to Bahia Vista

What a location! The waterfront views are amazing and the neighborhood was quiet during our visit. We made use of the BBQ grill, the bikes and the hot tub, and my husband fished every day. The patio lighting is quite charming at night and the light under the dock drew massive amounts of fish. My granddaughter and I visited the nearby Splash Harbor water park and drove up to the Clearwater Aquarium. We arrived on Memorial Day weekend, so the boat traffic was nonstop for the first few days, but the rest of the week was calm and quiet, giving us a chance to see dolphins, manatees and rays right off the dock area. We are more than happy to have chosen Bahia Vista for our vacation and hope to return again! Thanks must be given to Sue for her excellent communication during the rental process!

Wonderful house and location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We (my husband and I, daughter, and dog) stayed in this house for a week and loved it. The house is super-clean and well-configured. Very relaxing to hang out on the patio. Appreciated the kayaks and brought our own SUP. There is a small but good dog park two blocks north. Two minor quibbles: the neighbors to the south played loud music all day for a few of the days we were there, and the boats really zoom by in this part of the intracoastal, both of which detract from a peaceful stay. But we would overlook those two things and rent again without hesitation.
