First floor: kitchen/diner with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, washer/dryer, dishwasher, air fryer, dining seating for six, a sitting room with TV, and a snug, plus shower room. Second floor: two king-size bedrooms, one twin, serviced by a bathroom and cloakroom. Rear enclosed multi-level garden with patio, decking and furniture. Parking in local car parks, payable on site. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1.5 miles, pub and river 0.1 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels included in rent. Set in the beautiful wooded gorge of the River Derwent, the Matlocks offer a range of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as a host of attractions including Gulliverâs Kingdom and the Peak District Mining Museum. Magnificent views down the gorge can be enjoyed from the cable car which takes visitors up to the Heights of Abraham â a great place for all the family with its showcaves, nature trail, water gardens and Owl Maze. South of the town is the start of the High Peak Cycle Trail, whilst a short drive away is the National Tramway Museum at Crich. To the north are the market town of Bakewell and Chatsworth House and Park - not to be missed!
