A delightfully cosy cottage.
Tinsmith's cottage was a fantastic find, full of character and surrounded by history. The property was clean and tidy throughout on arrival and everything we needed could be found easily. The upstairs living room was warm and cosy, there were plenty of games, books and dvds available to use and the sofas were spacious and comfortable. Beds were also comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped.
There was so much to see and do locally, that we didn't need to go far from our base. If you enjoy history, you will love looking around Cromford and learning all about Richard Arkwright and his cotton mills, or you could take a trip in a cable car up to the heights of Abraham. There are also plenty of scenic walks on your doorstep, which we and our dog thoroughly enjoyed .

Wonderful village, lovely cottage. The only wish was that we could access a way to turn up the heating as the weather was lively :)

Lovely traditional cottage
From the start communication was excellent. We even had to change our dates which was accommodated.
Check in process was very simple and the cottage was extremely well equipped, far more then we would have needed for our short stay.
Very conveniently located to local shops which were open until reasonably late in the evening as well as a number of pubs.
We travelled as a family of 5 with 2 teenagers and the was plenty of space to lounge around without feeling like we were on top of each other.
The beds were all very comfy and as we visited in October the central heating made the temperature very comfortable.
