Cosy break in February
The cottage was just as described cosy, very warm and so convenient for the village for eating out at the pub and Indian restaurant. We did cook in the kitchen as well one night and all utensils and equipment were there that we needed. A lovely short break in February and some good walking routes despite the weather and it being wet underfoot in parts.
Comfy warm cottage
We very much enjoyed our stay in this very well converted cottage. It is very well situated for everything and the village is lovely.
A beautiful area.
Well positioned cottage in lovely village with excellent amenities
Lovely weekend in this well presented cottage.
Lots of nice touches, and issues with the heating soon resolved after speaking with Roy and Anne.
Would use again if in the area , but don’t think you should have to strip beds and empty bins at the end of the break, as this should be factored in with the cost of a property let. At the end of the day we were on holiday and can do those jobs at home !
It is still worthy of 5 Stars .
A wonderful week for exploring the region
Easy to find and access, we found the place to be a great fit for our needs at a very affordable price. We were 3 adults however one of us generally slept on the couch watching TV.... so the 2nd bedroom wasn't too crowded. We were lucky enough to get days and days of sunny weather, which made exploring the region very comfortable. Loved sitting out on the garden in the early morning September sunshine and reading with my coffee. Would definitely stay here again and will definitely reccomend both the property and general location of Crich to others!
Village stay in the Peak District
Well presented cottage with everything required for our stay and more. Plenty of appliances and cooking gear all good. Shower and toilet downstairs and toilet +sink upstairs. Large main bedroom and smaller twin which were adequate for our stay. Plenty of towels and other provisions. Very clean and well maintained. Good wi fi
We chose this two bedroom cottage as it stated there were also two bathrooms. Unfortunately this is slightly misleading. There is a shower room on the ground floor and a toilet and sink only on the first floor.
The cottage is well situated and in Crich there is a marvellous curry house, fish and chip shop(large portions) and pizza restaurant. Plus local pubs. No need therefore to cook - the cottage does have everything you need if you wish to self cater including dishwasher.
No issue with an evening in Netflix on the tele and a cupboard of DVD’s. Places we visited were Lea Gardens - Chatsworth House - Eyam - Bakewell and Matlock.
