Apartment in a strategic position, 100 meters from the Santa Maria Novella station. On the fourth floor without elevator. The stairs are certainly tiring but it's worth it when you get inside the view will repay you for every effort. Entrance with living room and sofa bed, dining area and separate full kitchen. The first bathroom is in the living area. Bedroom with double bed and ensuite bathroom. Washing machine
The apartment was neat and clean. Easy to get in once we did all our registration. Location was great - everything was walking distance. Just steps from the train station which prevented us from being one of those tourists dragging a roller bag across all of Florence. I appreciated that the sofa bed was pulled out and had bed sheets on it as they knew we would need 2 beds. Two bathrooms was very handy - great showers/water pressure. Definitely recommend! Hosts very very helpful when needed.
It was our first visit to Florence and we were really looking forward to it. However the experience, or the lack thereof at this property was really terrible! We reached the address in Florence at approx. 11pm local time after a 24 hr transit from the US. We followed all instructions provided to us for entering the main building but were unable to gain entry into the building. After repeated calls and text message and video clips of where we were to the property owner/manager we were told that somone will be coming on-site to help. We waited for over an hour (now it was past midnight local time) and no one showed up. Ultimately we had to make alternate arrangements late in the night and book a hotel at exorbitant rates for our stay.Subsequent repeated messages to the property owner/manager/company on the VRBO chat asking for a refund (since we had already pre-paid for the entire stay) have been met with complete silence.Absolutely terrible experience! Be exteremly careful dealing with YESIDOITALY and do so at your own risk of being scammed.
As we approach the property. Went inside the building and walked 5 flight of stairs. Once we went up and put the code and did not work. I called to let them know that the lock box is not working. We went up another level stairs and tried another apartment and did not work. We called and she told us face time the call and she said wrong door, went one below and said wrong door, then up to top floor apartment then said wrong door. I said to her there are only three apartments and each one is wrong. I said am I in the wrong building then she said did I said building is her answer. We went back and forth for one hour and 15 minutes then she finally called maintenance which took another 20 minutes to come. He said the lock box is broken. He gave us emergency keys and we walked in the the apartment was mostly clean. The toilet had a yellow ring in bathroom and the property had a weird smell the. Whole time. I had to leave windows open and spray the apartment couple times. They should tell you that there is no elevator and got to climb 5 levels of stairs. Would I stay here absolutely not. The smell and the service was horrible. The only good thing they let us check early and location. The lady we spoke was horrible for check in process and does not listen and keep repeating the same things.
