Best location on Sal! On the prestigious Port Antigo 2 complex with white sandy beaches just 200 meters away. The town of Santa Maria is on your doorstep, where you will find numerous cafes, bars and restaurants, many with live music, all within walking distance. The complex enjoys 24 hour security

The apartment has sun all day. There are only a few apartments on PA2 that have sun all day on their balconies. The majority have an outside roof, which means there is no direct sun or only partial sun. There are two sun loungers on the balcony and many more for your use when bathing in the pool.
The balcony gives you great views of the gardens, pool, beach and sea whilst maintaining your privacy and security up on the second floor!

March Stay

Location is excellent with a view of the pool & sea. There are few improvements we thought that would make our stay better. There wasn’t a sun brolley on the balcony so we improvised with a sheet. Lighting in kitchen is very dim if you want to cook later in the evening after sunset. New towels are desperately needed. Shocking tbh.. They are minor bug bares but hence not 5 star review.

Great Location

Perfect location. The apartment is in a secure conplex overlooking the pool and ocean.The top floor meant a great view and sun all day on the terrace. Plenty of space for two of us.A comfortable bed and lots of storage space.Yes you could hear the town in the evenings. The only night sleep was difficult was NYE. That would have been the case anywhere in Santa Maria!Good communication with Bob, the management company not so easy.A great trip - thank you!

Vacation - Cape Verde

On arrival, the apartment was tidy and compact, but spacious, extremely suitable for two adults. The outlook over the pool and gardens into the bay was magnificent and not to be missed. Situated at the old Port end of Santa Maria it was convenient for the main drag through the town, shops and restaurants. An extremely enjoyable vacation.

Beautiful renovated apartment with marine decoration. Wonderful views. The roar of the sea was heard. We have been at home, with great detail. Lovely Bob. Highly recommended. I hope to come back soon.

Amazing view

Property is in a great position and the view is amazing, so close to the water and the hotel odjo d agua with its beautiful restaurants at the waters edge. However if you are a light sleeper you may want to pack some earplugs as the bars on the main strip are loud well into the night and the fitness instructor at the local gym over the road has a voice that could raise the dead…..early am class is 0615. Not the alarm call we were looking for.

Lovely apartment

Lovely apartment in a great location looking out over the apartment complex pool and the sea. Close to shops and restaurants and Santa Maria pier, and literally 2 minutes from a gorgeous beach. We used the beach bar alongside the apartment complex a lot for both drinks and food and can highly recommend. The balcony has sun all day which is great for when you have had enough of the beach. There were a couple of issues when we arrived that the owner, Bob, did his best to sort out for us, these did not distract from us enjoying our holiday. I would highly recommend this apartment and we hope to visit again.

Fabulous apartment and location.

Fantastic from start to finish. Property manager arranged a taxi to meet us at the airport with the key to the apartment. The location couldn’t be better, right on the beach front, close to bars/restaurants and the pier and just a couple of streets back from the Main Street. Lovely big balcony for evening drinks, tip… take come citronella tea lights. The pool area has plenty of sunbeds and the grounds are clean and tidy. The apartment really is lovely with good sized rooms and has everything you need. We would definitely recommend visiting.

Christmas vacation

Great stay, we were a bit nervous beforehand as the property had no reviews. But everything was great. Clean, great views, wonderful pool, friendly staff. Points to note, AC isn’t really needed, but worked well when we ran it. The balcony is in the sun all day. Bed is on the hard side, but comfortable. Cleaning is once per week. Wi-fi isn’t consistently good, so you might want to pick up a local SIM card.

Perfect location

The owner uses an agency as go-between and manager of the property, which in our case entailed some communication issues. When we arrived, past midnight, we were told by the taxi driver (!) that there was a problem with the apartment and given the key to another apartment. The day after we learned that the ”problem” was that the apartment we had paid for was occupied by other guests. So our vacation didn’t start out well. We have since received compensation for this together with apologies from the owner, though. The apartment is in a perfect location, close to the beach and restaurants etc in town. There is a fabulous view and a nice pool a few steps from the sea. The kitchen is not the most well equipped: a coffee maker would for example have been a plus is this coffee growing country, and since the bedroom is in the back you get some street noise at night, but these are minor issues.

A nice property in a great location

The apartment was in a great location with lovely pool, right on the beach, friendly staff and beautiful clean grounds. The apartment itself is a good size for a couple and has a nice sized balcony. However we wonder if the owner has ever visited at the hottest time of year because the aircon and desk fan aren't adequate at that time of year especially when there are storms that make it impossible to leave the doors and windows open. Also note that the aircon is on a timer and whilst we understand running ac can be expensive we would've preferred to have an added cost to use it as we wished rather than having to get up several times a night to turn it back on, this meant several sleeplesss nights on the comfy sofa. Another thing to note is that the ac output is on the balcony at ground height so if one of you is still asleep with the ac on the other cannot sit outside as the heat/noise from the ac unit makes it unbearable. There were no pool towels available, and other little things like washing up liquid or hand soap. Not deal breakers, but little things that would make a good accommodation great.

Pas pour les gens qui cherchent le repos

Le contact avec le proprietaire etait correct, mais on ne nous a pas tout dit.Tout d’abord, l’appart est situe tout pres d’une ecole, aucun soucis. Par contre tout les soirs le local etait utilise pour faire de la musique (tambours et autres instruments ).On n’a peu dormi, alors qu’on venaient pour du repos. Cela a ete un GROS probleme. Si le proprio nous avait averti de cela, nous n’aurions pas reserve cet appart.L’appart etait propre, mais pour ainsi dire pas de materiel de cuisine, meme pas un saladier pour dire de se faire une salade. Et pour le materiel existant, il fallait etre prudent car les poignees des poeles ne tenaient presque pas.Le proprio nous avait dit qu’il y avait des moustiquaires partout ainsi qu’un parasol sur la terras. SURPRISE...le moustiquaire de la porte coulissante ne restait pas un place, il revenait toujours au point de depart et celui de la chambre etait inexistant, on l’a arrache ou qq chose comme cela. Le parasol egalement inexistant, et c’etaient bien dommage. Le proprio nous avait le nom de la personne qui gere l’appart (ROMINA), pour organiser les transferts aeroport-appart. Malgre la confirmation sur whatsapp, personne n est venue nous chercher. DESOLEE DE LE DIRE MAIS JE TROUVE CELA INADMISIBLE.BOB SMART nous avait dit que s’il y avait un probleme qu’il fallait contacter cette ROmina, je ne l’ai pas fait. On nous avez deja oublie a l’aeroport et puis on n’etait en vacances et non pour faire un etat des lieux. Merci

PARFAIT

Très bien situé proche de tout commerce, de la plage, restaurants, la piscine est très agréable, pour les plus craintifs aucun sentiments d insécurité, garde 24/24 avec une petite pensée pour Karim l un des gardien, Vue sur la mer et la plscine très sympa, rien à dire de plus c était très bien, merci à Bob et ses collaborateurs

Leuk verblijf!

Wat je ziet op de foto's is precies zoals het appartement is. Mooi zicht op het zwembad en de zee. Locatie in Santa Maria is super. Vlak bij winkels en restaurants. Er was wel een miscommunicatie met het bureau bij aankomst. Wij gaven ons aankomstuur door waarop het bureau een taxi naar de luchthaven stuurde.Wij wisten dit niet ,hadden dit ook niet gevraagd en namen zelf een taxi. Op het einde van de vakantie dienden wij de door hen georganiseerde taxirit bij te betalen.

Vlakbij centrum en dus zowat alles. Alle standaardvoorzieningen aanwezig. Mooie gezamenlijke tuin en zwembad met daarachter de zee die te zien is en gemakkelijk bereikbaar is. Korte handleiding met tips per mail van de eigenaar. Er wordt veel muziek op straat gespeeld, dus stil is het 's avonds niet. Misschien iets teveel decoratie.
