From the west-facing balcony of our delightfully situated 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment in the popular resort area called Club Caronte, you’ll be able to relax and drink in the view off the beautiful Andalusian architecture below, and the crystal blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea sparkling a little less than a mile away. There’s a reason why this region of Spain is called the Costa del Sol – the Sun Coast.
You and up to 5 more guests will enjoy the elegant interior of this apartment as well, with its fully-fitted modern kitchen with dishwasher and pleasantly furnished living room complete with TV. The dining area is in a little alcove off the living room. There’s a master bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a full bathroom, and a bedroom with two twin beds. The second bathroom features a shower and sink.
If you don’t feel like journeying out to the beaches you can relax around the resort pool, or take a refreshing swim. The architecture of the apartments in Club Caronte consists of crème colored walls and red tiled roofs which reinforce the charming surroundings.
The town of Mijas welcomes tourists with open arms. Near this resort area you’ll find tennis courts. If tennis isn’t your thing, seek out one of the padel courts. Padel is similar to tennis, but played on a court about a third of the size. There’s a playground that’s ideal for kids as well.
We haven’t talked about the nearby, beautiful beach. Stroll along the boardwalk which runs the length of the beach, or pick a spot to rest and relax. Or to go swimming! After a day of enjoyment in this charming town, return to your apartment for a good night’s rest.
