This property was great for our family vacation. There are about 50 stairs to climb so consider that when booking. Many restaurants and shops nearby and easy to get around to see the sites.
I stayed here with my family, and we found it to be ideal when wanting to explore Rome. Most of the city center is within walking distance, and cosy neighbourhoods like Trastevere is just a short strall away.
Super easy to check in and out without any fuss, and the appartment was just as advertized.
Great proximity to the city sites. Everything is within a 20 minute walk.
Apartment is 4 flights up. Shower is dirty and outdated. A/c is super loud and not cold. Fridge and freezer to small to hold anything. kitchen has 2 hot plates for cooking.
Was the most expensive of our 4 stays in Italy and had the least essentials included. The unit could use more pillows & towels. The beds only had sheets on them. With the cooler weather, proper blankets are required. Simple items that were missing like hand soap which should always be included. Shower head was on a wand and couldnât attach to the holder so you have to hold wand to shower. Great location. Also, the city tax should be discussed before booking, not when checking out
Very good location! Walking distance to all major attractions. A daily market and mini Carrefour nearby so food shopping is easy as well. Lots of good restaurants and cafes nearby- we recommend Bar Farnese round the corner for morning coffee with a very local feel.Apartment is spacious for central Rome. It is, however, a little dated but that just adds to the charm and character of the place- that and also it being situated in a 15th century building. It is a little gloomy due to the situation of the apartment but also due to this, it's very quiet from the hustle and bustle of the busy streets below. Beware of the three flight of stairs for those who find this an issue. The kitchen is adequate for making simple meals- check out the butchers and deli for prepared meats and meals, for the occssional eating in. Valentina is a fantanstic host; making checking in a breeze and quick responses with any queries. Highly recommended and will definitely stay here again.
I wish I could include pictures. Moldy shower, broken washing machine, no oven, small rusty electric burner with someone's old coffee still in pot, brown sweat stained pillows, white crusty stain on couch, layer of dirt on floors, one portable air conditioner in place that wasn't enough to cool house. We walked in and had to leave. Didn't get refund ...yet. No standards
The location of this apartment was great. Easy walking distance to many attractions. Right next to Piazza Campo de' Fiori. Be ready to walk 3 flights up.
