Nous ne sommes pas "à distance de marche" du centre-ville - nous sommes en ville!
Situé sur l'extrémité nord du centre-ville de Stillwater avec une belle vue sur la rivière, la rue principale HideAway est nichée sur un grand terrain entouré d'arbres et de fleuves de rivières. Un duplex historique restauré, les deux unités disposent de 2 chambres privées et d'une salle de bain simple. Chaque unité est parfaite pour 1 ou 2 couples.
Selon la disponibilité, si les deux unités sont disponibles, notre maison peut accueillir jusqu'à 10 personnes.
Nous avons subi une restauration et une rénovation complètes - les salles de bains sont nouvelles avec de la pierre et du granit. Les cuisines disposent d'appareils en acier inoxydable haut de gamme et de comptoirs en granit. Les sols originaux, les portes et la menuiserie sont raffinés. Chaque unité dispose d'une laveuse et d'une sécheuse.
La cour est adorable et nous avons des tables en plein air et un barbecue.
Assurez-vous d'apporter vos vélos! Nous sommes situés directement à travers la rue à partir du marqueur de 0 mile pour le sentier Brown's Creek. Si vous n'êtes pas sur ce parcours, vous êtes régalé! Il serpente à travers les bois et les falaises, traversant le ruisseau dans plusieurs endroits.
Notre jardin porte également sur un ensemble de l'infame "Laurel Street Steps" - une marche vers le haut de ces étapes vous emmène directement dans Pioneer Park, où les photos sont incroyables.

Stillwater Minnesota great home and location!

Amazing beautiful historic home overlooking river..beautiful views! Great touches in every room..supplied with everything you want and need…short walk to town , restaurants, bars and shops..yard very well kept and huge!Owners are so nice and attentive…I definitely recommend a stay there! This historic home has been restored and renovated with beautiful finishes and attention to detail; it was a joy to stay with Monty and Terri! I'd recommend this property again and again to anyone visiting Stillwater.

Great House - Hard beds

This duplex is really quite nice, the updates were very well done, and the location is perfect for exploring Stillwater. However, the beds are quite hard so be aware of that. We would stay there again!

Amazing location!

We loved staying here. The kitchen is fabulous. Beds were very comfortable. The place is clean, organized and anything you might need is there. So many great places in walking distance. Climbing the outdoor stairs was great exercise. We would stay there again and again!

Perfectly appointed accommodations!!

This was the perfect place for a weekend getaway! The proximaty to downtown allowed us to walk everywhere and the condo couldn’t have been more like home for my girlfriend and I to spend the weekend catching up after not seeing one another for 5 year!!! Thank you for making us feel at home!

Perfect Stillwater Location

We had a fabulous weekend with both of the duplex sides rented for a girls weekend. The house was very clean and we loved the deck with views of the river. Being located right off the main street was perfect for our activities in town, no driving necessary. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely river view, convenient to downtown Stillwater

Great location, clean, convenient to downtown. Communication with hosts was excellent - very responsive and timely. Big bedrooms, lots of windows, nice living room and good sized kitchen too. Beautiful views of the river. Located on the north end of town so quiet, but still only a few minutes walk to shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

PERFECT FOR OUR FAMILY!

Perfect home for our family getaway-Lots of space for all of us to be together both inside the home and out, updated, clean and well maintained. Fireworks were spectacular and very close to the bike trail!! Within walking distance of everything we needed and the owners made it easy to check in and out. Highly recommend booking if your looking for a home in this area, you will not be disappointed!! Thanks Monty and Terri for letting us stay!! Amy D.

Family Ladies Weekend Away

My mom, sisters and niece all decided to meet in the middle and enjoy a weekend away. We have such a nice time spending a lazy, rainy morning drinking coffee and catching up. When we decided to venture out, the location was great... with in walking distance to the river, great dining and shopping that Stillwater offers. Terry & Monty were attentive to our needs, corresponding quickly to all of our questions. The furnishings were top notch, from the sheets and pillows to the gourmet coffee, and the place was spotless. They even went as far as to mail some forgotten items to my mom. I'd recommend this place to anyone! Thanks for the great time!

Beautiful home, great location!

This home is a genuine beauty. The renovation that was completed a couple years ago was done with such style and class. No corners were crimped, but the character of the home was maintained. Kitchen was well furnished, beds were comfortable, the bathroom was to die for (especially the shower!). The weather was cool when we were there, so we didn't get to make use of the upper balcony, or grill. The house is located virtually next to the beginning of all the uptown action. Great for walking to and from shopping, bars, restaurants, boat activities, etc. We found the owners very nice and easy to work with with prompt responses to questions before and after our stay. If you are headed to the beautiful town of Stillwater, this is a must for your choice of places to stay!

More than I could have hoped for

Beautiful space. Very clean. Good sheets! Very comfortable. Terri and Monty are wonderful. I would always choose this property in the future if it were available. Cannot recommend it more highly.

Beautiful Property in Ideal Location!

The Main Street Hideaway is exactly as stated -- a great little hideaway in Stillwater! It's situated on a hill with great views of the St. Croix River. I was in the upper unit (unit 2) with great views and 2 small balconies. It's within walking distance to down-town, the Stillwater Lift Bridge, and walking paths. I regularly used the walking paths and crossed the Lift Bridge into Wisc. -- there and back is 3.2 miles/5K. The unit itself has ample room -- 2 bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, bathroom, a small work space, and did I mention 2 balconies! :) I really enjoyed my stay. Montey and Terri couldn't have been nicer. Main Street Hideaway was better than I expected!

Fantastic!

We were so pleased with the property! It was VERY clean, the furnishings were all in excellent shape, the linens were all of high quality and so fresh, and the space was perfect for our group of 5 ladies. The location was a comfortable walk from all the excitement of Main Street. Terri and Monty were wonderful to work with, very informative and patient when I made a mistake on my booking. We will most definitely stay again in the future.

Girls weekend

We enjoyed our weekend getaway in Stillwater. The house was very warm and cozy. We had everything we needed. Great location. We could walk to restaurants and shopping which was a plus. Beds were super comfy too.

Great location!

Had an awesome 'end of the Fall' weekend in this awesome rental. Was just at the end of the downtown area to conveniently walk to all the sites and sounds of Stillwater... and if course shopping! So enjoyed the cozy interior as well as the morning coffee and afternoon wine on the porch. We were so grateful this was available for our 32nd anniversary. We shall return! Outstanding stay

First time to MN for my family and it couldn’t have gone better. The house was charming, great views and location. We also enjoyed the tour of the museum next door and were blown away by the beauty of Pioneer Park up the steps from the house. Great property and owners.

Monty and Terry made our stay seamless. The house is gorgeous, in the perfect location and was fully stocked with all the essentials. We couldn’t of asked for a better stay and will be visiting again!

We have lived in the Stillwater for over forty years and raised our kids and grandkids here. We have owned this property for nearly 20 years, and in 2016 we decided to do a complete restoration/renovation. We are pleased with the finished product. With the use of custom millwork and hardware it is hard to distinguish between the addition and the original areas.
We have tried to make it a restful and tasteful retreat for our guests.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The Main Street Hideaway is a unique piece of property that it was originally part of the Stillwater Territorial State Prison. It is located next to the Warden's House which is now the Washington County Historical Museum. Just to the North of the Warden's House is the site of the original territorial prison which was destroyed by fire in 2002. Original walls of the prison property are still standing and surround the Terra Springs condo development. It is our understanding that our MainStreet Hideaway was used as housing for some of the officers or guards at the prison.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Location location location! Guests are able to walk to so many activities, yet because we are perched on a hilltop, we are hidden away and quiet. Main Street Hideaway is unique, being located in downtown and within walking distance to the Paddle Boats, JX Event Center, Grand Banquet Hall, Lowell Inn, The Loft, Brians, and Water Street Inn. Lowell Park and Pioneer Park are less than 2 blocks away. There are more than 20 restaurants located in downtown ranging from fine dining, casual upscale, and burgers and fries. Spring, Summer and Fall allows for the opening of more than a dozen outside seating areas and rooftop decks. If you are looking for live music, there are typically 5-6 different venues every weekend.
Main Street Hideaway also has it's own off street parking . With a large yard, porches with a river view , and a lovely patio area, you may decide to stay put and order in!
