Cette charmante villa de 2 chambres et 2 salles de bains est située sur Palm Avenue, Sunset Crest, un emplacement central à St. James sur la célèbre côte ouest. C'est une merveilleuse retraite ombragée dans un endroit résidentiel calme, idéal pour se détendre et rêver. Il est niché dans de grands jardins tropicaux tranquilles et pourtant il n'est qu'à 5 minutes de The Beach House, avec une grande piscine de 50 pieds, un bar et un restaurant, qui est entièrement disponible pour les clients de Palm Villa.
Nous proposons un mobilier et des équipements haut de gamme - tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin pour des vacances parfaites. La villa a une belle terrasse double pour se détendre et manger tandis que le salon offre des sièges confortables (canapés deux places et trois places avec chaise) afin que vous puissiez choisir votre zone de `` temps d'arrêt ''! Les portes françaises vous mènent sur le patio et il y a de grands canapés et chaises en rotin et une belle brise pour vous garder au frais. La villa a tout pour répondre à vos besoins - TV directe, DVD, chaîne stéréo, Wi-Fi gratuit et téléphone gratuit pour tous les appels locaux, ainsi qu'une cuisine entièrement équipée avec réfrigérateur, congélateur, cuisinière, liquidiseur, micro-ondes, cafetière, grille-pain et tout le nécessaire vaisselle et ustensiles de haute qualité.

Les chambres sont toutes deux en-suite et sont lumineuses et aérées avec des lits king size confortables. Les deux ont des ventilateurs de plafond et AC pour votre confort. Une troisième chambre est également disponible avec lits jumeaux et climatisation en cas de besoin.

De fabuleuses plages de sable blanc sont à 5 minutes à pied de la villa et serpentent le long du littoral au nord et au sud. Ainsi que des attractions touristiques telles que les jardins tropicaux, les excursions en jeep safari, l'équitation, les croisières, les excursions en catamaran, les sports nautiques, le golf, le tennis, les boutiques hors taxes - la région a tout ce que vous pourriez souhaiter et plus encore! Avec autant de lieux d'intérêt et d'excursions proposées, il est difficile de décider où aller et quoi faire! La location de voitures est simple et facile - pour visiter la côte est sauvage, sauvage et magnifique et très différente de la paisible côte ouest

Holetown est la plaque tournante centrale de l'activité avec ses bars, restaurants et renommée «First Street». Les banques, les supermarchés et le nouveau développement de Lime Grove sont sur le pas de la porte, accueillant des marques de mode internationales (pour les boutiques hors taxes) et des restaurants pour séduire tous les goûts.

Lovely to be back

So, this was our 14th stay in Barbados (we think!) and our second time staying at this property. If you've ever stayed in Sunset Crest / Holetown (or Barbados in general!), you'll know that properties vary significantly in quality, cleanliness and value. Let's just say that this property is one we'd return to without hesitation. It is in a great location and with access to the "local pool" (on the beachfront) and represents excellent value for money. Put it this way, we stayed in a 4* hotel in the South for 6 days before heading to Linda's place (thanks for making check in so effortless!) and I'd argue the standards we're comparable.. can't wait to get back there :)

Amazing villa and great location

We loved this villa! It is in a great location of beautiful Barbados and we always felt very secure. As two couples sharing the villa, we had plenty of space, both inside and outside. We truly enjoyed the outdoor covered area to start and end our day. A 10 minute walk to the main road where we could easily get transportation to explore the island, and approximately a 12 minute walk to the beach and The Beach House. As “beach people” we didn’t think we’d use the facility but we loved having access to the loungers, pool and bar/restaurant area. A beautiful place to relax while overlooking the sea. Our host Linda was very helpful to ensure everything was satisfactory and everyone was happy. Tania was also available to ensure our stay was a pleasant one. A housekeeper and a gardener also ensure the property is well kept. We highly recommend and would love to return.

Large private home in quiet neighborhood

Excellent place to stay if you want a quiet retreat. Large home with everything we needed. Neighborhood setting yet close enough to walk to coffee shop. Could walk to restaurants and beach too. No view, but lovely quiet back patio with plenty of seating.

What an amazing place

We really enjoyed our stay in the villa it was very spacious and gave each of us plenty of space to get ready to go out and also if you wanted some quiet time. The location was perfect and the facilities excellent We will definitely be coming back

clean and spacious.

Linda the owner made sure we were comfortable. Great location......Beach House access to pool and beach was great. We had the beach to ourselves. My husband snorkeled out to where the boats went for the tours from our beach!

Hidden Oasis

Property was hidden behind a lovely garden. Great facilities with everything you could possibility want/need, another blessing was the laundry meaning we came home with clean clothes. Close to beach and great to have pool option albeit only serviced with bar part of the week. Only slight downside was the uphill walk back in the heat.

Palm Villa

We had a wonderful time in Barbados. One of the major reasons was because of Palm Villa and Linda our host. Beautiful gardens surround the property and we really enjoyed the outdoor living. Linda was an extremely attentive host, we had a plumbing problem during our stay, but Linda handled the entire situation quickly and professionally. We would not hesitate to recommend Palm Villa for a wonderful holiday. Thank you Linda for sharing your lovely home.

Quiet and tranquil

Palm villa is a lovely house with beautiful mature gardens that provide plenty of shade and cool breeze, a great place to relax and switch off. Only ten minutes walk to the beach club which we found really useful with two teeangers in tow, Linda is a great host and answered any questions quickly as well as arranging a taxi from the airport at a good price ! We were met on arrival and shown how everything woked plus Janice the housekeeper called in twice to tidy up etc which was an unexpected bonus - would we go again, 100%.

Great house

Everything was perfect! Tanya was very nice during check-in and took the time to explain everything. The house is big and this being Barbados, we really enjoyed the outdoor spaces (living room and dining room). House was super clean, the kitchen was very well equipped (especially compared to other rentals we have been to), the washer and dryer were useful and the neighborhood was very quiet. Added bonus: our kids loved watching the family of monkeys who passed through the yard daily! Communication with Linda was efficient. Holetown and it’s restaurants, shops and supermarket was a 10 minute walk away through safe little streets. Lastly: we used the pool at the Beach Club at the end of each day before coming home; it was clean and well kept!

Great place to stay!

Have stayed in Sunset Crest / Holetown several times before as it's one of our favourite parts of Barbados. Very pleased when we arrived to be greated by Tania who gave us a tour of this lovely property and also put us contact with a few people who might be able to make our stay more comfortable (we managed a cheeky discount on Payne's sun loungers!) - really helped us to settle in quickly :) The property itself if great, tatsefully decorated and has everything you could ever need. Beds are all very comfortable and the rooms are spacious. There's a 3rd bedroom accessed throiugh the second which was great for us as both kids had their own space. 2 bathrooms which is also handy when you have teenagers! Outside there's plenty of space to relax or dine and the gardens are very lush with a great level of privacy. We spent a few more evenings "at home" as it was such a lovely environment to chill out in. We'll definitely be back to Barbados and will absolutely contact Linda when looking for somewhere to stay - great host and really appreciated the phone call to make sure we had everything we needed :)

Beautiful villa in quiet area.

We have just returned from ten days in paradise! Firstly, I have to say that dealing with Linda was a pleasure from start to finish. She was always available if needed, and arranged our lifts from and to the airport for us. She also checked with us regularly to see if we needed anything. This villa is perfect for a home from home holiday. It is spacious, light and airy and beautifully furnished. There are mosquito and security grills on the outside of all windows which means that you can leave all of the windows open day and night. This gives a lovely airy feel to the place and gives nice through breezes. The air conditioning in the bedrooms is very efficient and the beds are very comfortable so we slept so well! The outdoor spaces are very private, except from the occasional visit from the friendly monkeys which is amazing. They visited us twice around breakfast time. The friendly housekeeper, Janice, visits twice a week to change beds and towels etc. There are plenty of towels provided including beach towels. This villa actually has all the amenities you need. The access that is provided to the Beach House is what makes this extra special. The Beach House is about a 15 minute walk away, but it is an easy walk. The access provides you with the use of all facilities at The Beach House so you have sun beds and shade and free iced water. There is a bar to buy drinks, and a restaurant for lunch and dinner. Also showers and changing rooms with lockers should you need them. We felt quite happy leaving our belongings out when we went for lunch or in the sea. It is a nice place, solely for use by members. The best part is the beach! It is particularly quiet and the water is beautiful here! The villa is situated in a quiet backwater, next door to a small hotel, whose pool we used on one occasion after checking at reception that it was ok to do so. There is a nice little cafe, a few shops and the bus stop within a 5/10 minute walk, and then the main supermarket and restaurants are about a 15 minute walk. Everything is within easy reach. We used the buses on two occasions. We went to Bridgetown on the blue bus, and then rode the yellow reggae bus to Speightstown which is an experience not to be missed!! You need the correct money, but it is only 1US dollar per person per ride. Amazing value. The locals are all very friendly and we always felt safe. We only have positives to say about this villa and holiday. Thank you Linda!

Excellent for a family or two couples.

This place is amazing, with lots of space for a family or perhaps two couples to share. We stayed with two teenagers and we all had space to enjoy. The rooms are generous in size and there are multiple large outdoor seating areas.The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and comes fully equipped.The host is very helpful and responsive through the entire process, from booking, settling in, enjoying the stay, and leaving. She cares.The house is about 1km from the club with pool and beach, and a bit further for shopping. We stayed for 1 week and did not rent a car. We walked most places and occasionally took a bus (very, very easy to do) or taxi. The walking was fine for us as our family enjoys the trade-off you get for a much larger place that only requires a short walk to the beach and town. If walking is not for you, I would suggest getting a rental car.The only small considerations I would suggest are:1. The bedrooms are air conditioned, but the rest of the house is not. This was perfectly fine for us during our visit in March, but for someone who likes to come home to an ice box while they are on vacation, something to consider.2. Housekeeping is occasional. This was fine for our family and we don't necessarily like or need for housekeeping to interrupt our vacation more than that. But for someone who expects daily deep cleaning, consider discussing with the host. The groundskeeper was there daily and did an excellent job.This place is a gem!

Location, location,location

Location of palm villa is incredible for exploring Barbados. Close to grocery stores, fish markets, restaurants and beaches. After exploring the island all day it was so relaxing to sit in the back yard listening to birds,frogs, and see a few monkeys going through. BBQ was great to cook the fish from the market, kitchen fully equipped, and Linda was incredibly helpful and responsive in any questions we had. This villa is a perfect place to enjoy everything Barbados has to offer.

Uncared for

Not very clean, bathrooms especially, all appliances need replacing as are rusting. The grouting on the kitchen worktop dirty and unhygienic as are the bathroom floors. Toilet seats and accessories, shower rails, toilet roll holders, taps and the showers don’t spray properly etc. Trip hazard on steps as the metal edging is coming away, it could be a lovely property if updated and cleaned properly two times a week, our experience was that anything above head height is never cleaned, and the cleaner came once a week. The wooden sun loungers in the courtyard garden were most uncomfortable because the seat pads again need replacing with thicker pads, they are stained and very old. The pictures on Virbo are out very of date, garden very dark and overgrown. The access to the beach club was very good with spotless bathrooms, pool was lovely and we could step out onto the beach, it’s at least a fifteen minute walk away from the property. The 10/10 listing on Virbo is inaccurate because the standard of the property must have been deteriorating over a long period of time. The instruction book in the property is also out of date.

Wonderful villa in perfect location

We've visited the West Coast many times, and this villa is in the perfect location with a beautiful, shady tropical garden. It has just the right level of comfort and we felt at home immediately. Linda and her team made us feel so welcome. All in all an excellent experience, thank you!

FAMILY FRIENDLY

Well equipped family accommodations for 2 adults and 3 children (6 - 10). Ms Janice (house keeper) and Joel (groundskeeper) kept things nice for us.. We hit the beach every day and quickly found out that Barbados was a bit more expensive than we thought but once we found the Rubbermaid containers in the cupboard, that made making transportable lunches doable, it really made the difference in our daily trips as the kids were always hungry.. we found the pool access a great alternative to the beach. Walking distance to shopping and groceries were an extra bonus. A special thanks for that Linda for having a well equipped kitchen (blender, kettle, cups, mugs, plates and bowls), beach towels and more❤️… Sorry for the broken can opener

Delightfully relaxing

This was one of the most pleasant places we have ever stayed at during our travels. The villa was beautifully landscaped as a tropical oasis in an ideal location. Quiet and Peaceful

A beautiful location with 3 spacious bedrooms. Great for 2 guests as you get your own bathroom. Love the 2 outdoor shaded areas. Great for working out, doing computer work and relaxing. No pool but beach and beach club pool are only a 10 min walk. Monkeys are cute too and make an appearance in the morning:)

Excellent organisation of taxi & housekeeper/reception despite our flight being 2 hours late. There were just two of us so the property seemed even bigger than for most families Large outdoors with gardens, seating areas & dining table. Indoors, three bedrooms & everything you could need - all as described in the listing. Beach club, pool & nearby beaches within easy walking distance, a car isn't necessary as it is so close to Holetown. We didn't. Helpful owner kept in regular contact throughout.

Paradise at Palm Villa

We cannot overstate how lovely everyone was who was in any way associated with Palm Villa , Sunset Crest. The whole team made our family feel safe and at home. The neighbors, the monkeys in the morning on the patio, the walk for coffee, the walk to the beach, the beach, the housekeeper and gardener all delightful. The laundry facilities were super useful and the showers refreshing.

March 2020 stay

Good location, just a short walk to the beach and the Holetown shops/restaurants. Excellent communication throughout booking and during our stay with Linda. High quality furnishings & equipment both inside and out. Outside space looked after by a lovely gardener and the inside left absolutely spotless by the housekeeper. You really can't go wrong with this accommodation.

The Best!

We loved this home! It was perfect for two couples. The bedrooms are a good size and the ensuite bathrooms in each bedroom was great to have. We loved the outdoor sitting area. We had our coffee there each morning. We felt very safe in the home/area. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking. The owner even purchases a new blender for me to have my breakfast smoothies each morning - much appreciated! Everything was supplied including all the toilet paper and even bug repellant. The owner arranged pickup to/from airport which was great. The owner called twice to ensure everything was okay. It was great having access to the beach house which is a 15 minute walk away. The only negative comment I have is the beds were very hard which made sleeping uncomfortable. But other than that, I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it to others.
