Situé au cœur de la campagne toscane, au sommet d'une colline, surplombant des vignes et des oliveraies, Borgo Fajani est un groupe de fermes typiques, abritant autrefois les agriculteurs locaux et maintenant entièrement restauré en conservant l'atmosphère rustique toscane.
Les maisons, les jardins et les patios offrent une vue à couper le souffle: Borgo Fajani est la partie sud de Casanova, un petit hameau de campagne tranquille. C'est l'endroit idéal pour des jours de détente et constitue un excellent point de départ pour explorer la région. Les principales villes de Toscane sont à proximité: San Gimignano, Pise, Florence Lucca et Sienne se trouvent à 40 km, ainsi que le bord de mer situé à seulement 30 km. Tirrenia Golf Club est à seulement 40 minutes en voiture.

Beautiful location and very pretty accommodation & facilities - fantastic stay

Wonderful stay at Alfredo's property. The house is kept beautifully, the views are stunning, the pool and outdoor eating areas are so lovely. And a wonderful winery in walking distance. Make sure to visit nearby Sienna, San Gimignano too, and of course Pisa. Fantastic holiday. Highly recommended.

Great location. Beautiful views. House in great shape and has all the character of Tuscany. Close to a few towns with a variety of restaurants, easy to get to train to Florence and not far from the coastline. Highly recommend.

Toller Urlaub

Das Haus (Nr. 23) ist einen typischen "alten" burgähnlichen Landhausstil eingerichtet. Die Einrichtung ist einfach aber alles vorhanden. Mussten uns nur noch mit dem Gasherd anfreunden... Die Kids hatten Spaß um Pool und die Aussicht war traumhaft. Sehr ruhig gelegen. Es gibt eine eigene Terrasse (nicht direkt am Haus) mit Blick zum Pool und der Landschaft, allerdings muss man eine lange Treppe hinunter laufen. Alfredo, der Vermieter, war täglich da und stets freundlich und gab tolle insider Tipps. Wir können diese Unterkunft jederzeit weiterempfehlen!!!!

Charmante typisch toskanische Unterkunft! Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und die Tage am Pool genossen. Die Aussicht von dort über die Landschaft war herrlich! Unser Vermieter Alfredo war immer ansprechbar und sehr hilfsbereit.

Immer wieder gerne

Schöne Wohnung mit tollem Blick und Pool. Gute Ausstattung, sehr sauber. Alfredo ist ein sehr freundlicher, hilfsbereiter Vermieter, der sich kümmert und tolle Tips für Ausflüge, Veranstaltungen, Restaurants etc. hat. Unbedingt das Eis in der Eisdiele in Da Rosa probieren!!!! Die Lage ist ideal für Ausflüge nach Pisa, Lucca, Volterra, Viagreggio und Florenz. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Gerne wieder.

Einfach hervorragend

Alfredo ist ein sehr freundlicher und umsichtiger Gastgeber. Ausgesprochen freundliche Leute in reizvoller Umgebung. Außerdem fehlt es an nichts. Viele interessante Ziele sind gut erreichbar. Viele Möglichkeiten, gut Essen zu gehen. Absolut empfehlenswert

Ferien, die alles bieten

Unsere Ferienwoche in der Toskana hat uns allen sehr gut gefallen. Das Ferienhaus ist einfach eingerichtet, bietet aber alles was es braucht. Trotz Hitze war es in der Wohnung angenehm kühl und der Pool hat zusätzlich die nötige Abkühlung gebracht. Der Ort ist zentral gelegen. Viele der Tips und Hinweise von Alfredo konnten wir gut gebrauchen und umsetzen. Alfredo spricht sehr gut Englisch und ist immer gut zu erreichen. Somit wurden die Wünsche von uns allen erfüllt: Baden im Meer, gutes Essen sowie jede menge Kultur. Auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert.

parfait

jolie maison bien située géographiquement, au calme, permettant de visiter la Toscane sans trop de distance pour aller dans les principales villes, piscine plus grande qu'elle ne parait sur les photos (notre fille de 7 ans a adoré)

Magnifique sejour en Toscane

N'hésitez pas une seconde , cet endroit est un havre de paix avec une vue splendide sur la campagne Toscane , A seulement 35 km de Pise, 70 km de Florence et 50 km de Lucca . Nous avons passe une semaine tres agreable , et la piscine appreciable apres une visite Alfredo est tres sympathique et serviable

Typical farmhouse in a cosy hamlet

Wonderful farmhouse setting. Very clean and well taken care of. We enjoyed listening to the history of the village from Alfredo. Small restaurant with great food within walking distance. Also a small store for cheese, jam, and pesto. Alfredo is a very gracious host and we enjoyed our time talking with him. Arrangements can be made for someone to come to cook a Tuscan dinner if you want. Villages nearby have wine shops, gelato, bakeries and restaurants. Casanova is a perfect place to relax or to travel to nearby places like Siena, Pisa, Lucca or San Gimignano. If you are looking for a country setting but accessible to the cities, this is it. Coming back after a day of sightseeing to relax with a glass of wine by the pool is the best! We would highly recommend staying here and we look forward to our next visit to see our new friend Alfredo again..

Tuscany.s heaven on earth !

Casa Lilliana delivered everything and more! The house has enough space ,well equiped and very clean. Aldredo the owner is at the premises you give you a warm welcome and helps you with all the questions you have.We were the with 2 couples and enjoyed our stay enormously. The house, the most amazing vieuws, the private terrace for a nice wine in the evening and the clean swimming pool gave us a holiday made in heaven! I will recommend this place to anyone who wants to fall in love with Tuscany!

Fijne goed verzorgde vakantiewoning

Prima accomodatie in de buurt van bezienswaardigheden Pisa, Luca en San Gimigiano. Heerlijk zwembad met een mooi uitzicht over Toscaanse heuvels. Vriendelijke gastheer die met zorg zijn vakantiewoningen onderhoudt.

Heaven On Earth

I've spent a splendid week at Casa Liliana and considered the place Heaven on Earth. Next to the beautiful surroundings and the superb weather we had a wonderful house and a marvellous host. We had all we needed and even if there was something missing, Alfredo took immediately care of it. We will certainly go back there, the sooner the better...

Tuscany at it's best!

We stayed for one week in Casa Liliana and it couldn't be better; location great with magnifent views, the apartment authentic, clean and all the ops. The great extra advantage is the host Alfredo; a very helpfull, kind English speaking host. You can have your peace and quiet in Casanova, but also enjoy the company of some other families. Our son enjoyed playing with other children and swimming in the great and clean pool. It was a dream come true; maybe till next year. Couple with kid from Holland

Typisch toskanisch!

Der Ort Casanova sind so, wie man sich die Toskana vorstellt: urig, klein - mit einem Blick über grüne Hügel bis hin nach Volterra. Casa Liliana ist toll ausgestattet und optimal für 2 Personen. Wir haben uns dort sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt. Alfredo spricht perfekt Englisch, so dass auch die Verständigung kein Problem ist. Bei Problemen ist er sofort zur Stelle. Casanova liegt so zentral, dass man alle sehenswerten Orte in der Toskana (Lucca, Siena, Pisa....) sehr gut erreichen kann. Für eine Fahrt nach Florenz empfiehlt sich der Zug ab Pontedera. Im Ort selber gibt es einen Demeter-Hof, der Käse, Olivenöl, Nudeln... selber herstellt; er ist unbedingt einen Besuch wert!

Enjoying Tuscany

We spent the first of two weeks of our stay in Tuscany at Casa Liliana and had a great time relaxing at the pool, exploring the neighborhood and enjoying the local food and wine. Alfredo's houses are all part of the very small village of Casanova on top of a hill so you have wonderful views over the Tuscan landscape. The rooms are spacious and their style perfectly fits into the Tuscan atmosphere. Very recommendable. For the wine enthusiasts: There is a large winery just on the opposite side of the hill where they offer guided tours and where you can get some great but also exclusive wines from the local vineyard.

Wonderfull stay in tipical Tuscany's house.

We spent an excellent stay at Borgo Fajani. ' Casa liliana ' very clean and 2 spacious rooms, bit extra: the linen is supplied. Garden and swimming pool, are very agreable where from we can take advantage of a magnificent view. It's egalement considerable to be able to take advantage of the nearness of the farm to have fresh products; dairy products, fruits... Borgo fajani is idealement situated to visit the marvels of Tuscany: Pisa, Florence, Lucca, Voltera, Siena, and even to be able to take advantage of beautiful beaches with clear sea. Thanks to Alfredo for his welcome, its kindness and its good advice: perfect host. It was our first stay in Tuscany, and sums already some to return there.

Wonderful location, very accommodating host

This was a return trip to Borgo Fajani for us, and much like our first visit, we had a perfect holiday. Whilst typically traditional and simple, Casa Lilliana is clean, comfortable and has a world of charm. Casanova is a small hamlet, steeped in history, and provides an excellent location to visit Pisa, Siena, Volterra, Florence and Lucca. The property benefits from use of the shared pool, its own covered terrace and use of the barbecue, which is wonderful to enjoy a Tuscan sunset with a large glass of Tonini's wine! Alfredo is the perfect host - friendly and ever accommodating but never imposing.

A Wonderful Holiday in Beautiful Tuscany

From 4-11 september 2010 we were guests in Casa Liliana. Although we were a little disappointed the house is a few miles from the village Terriciola, Casanova is a very charming place on a beautiful location. The vieuws are amazing, both the terrace, the house and from the well maintained swimmingpool. Casa Liliana is simple but beautifully restored and there is everything you need.. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are good. Casanova is centrally located. We enjoyed daytrips to Sienna. Pisa and San Gimignano, also driving and walking around. Alfredo is pleasant and helpful. We have greatly enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend this location.

All rooms with a view

This was the second time we stayed at Borgo Fajani. And again we enjoyed it very much: the lovely, quiet hamlet of Casanova, the exellent view from the house, the swimming pool and the outside dining-table, the mountainbike tours, the golflinks in Tirrhenia and San Miniato, the nice villages, wine cellars and restaurants nearby and excursions to Pisa and Siena. Alfredo is very friendly and helpfull.

Excellent Location

I stayed with my boyfriend and another couple in Casa Liliana for a week. Alfredo was very welcoming and showed us the accommodation and our free bottle of organic wine (which was very nice). A few minutes away we could buy local produce (milk. bread, cheese, eggs etc). The views were amazing from the private terraces and the pool was a delight to refresh oneself in the heat. We went to a restaurant that Alfredo recommended in Terriciola which was amazing (for those meat lovers) and we walked back in the evening (look out for the fireflies that light up your way back). One of our friends unfortunately was not well while we were there but Alfredo was great and went with us to the doctor to help with translating. Despite this we had a great time and would definitely come again.

Beautiful location in a charming Tuscan hamlet

Casanova is a charming place - full of interesting history with a lovely atmosphere - and Alfredo has made the most of this beautiful location. This house is lovely - simple - but with nice big beds... and if you are looking for a room - or every room - with a view - this is the house! The delightful cooling pool and sun terrace garden have beautiful views over the countryside and it is all so relaxing - The place is very clean and well looked after. The wireless broadband worked perfectly too. Lovely local products - cheese, honey, milk and bread are available in the hamlet. This would also be a great place to stay in the cooler months for walking and cycling - bikes are available here - and there are lovely drives through the countryside to fantastic places such as Volterra and other beautiful towns and villages. Even our teenage kids loved it...and some day we will come back.
