In rainy seasons, a seasonal creek adds to the property's natural beauty. Only 20 minutes away from wineries, scenic trails, and a waterfall. Overall, it's a charming old weatherboard house with captivating mountain sunsets.
The Space:
Pyrenees Views by Tiny Away is located in the serene countryside of the historic town Avoca and just 19 minutes from the large service town of Maryborough. Avoca boasts a vibrant arts scene, historical sites, and beautiful parks, making it a popular destination for both locals and tourists alike and just an hour's drive from the lively towns of Bendigo, Ballarat, and Castlemaine.
What's more, this charming retreat offers breathtaking rural views and a variety of birdlife, including eagles, hawks, colorful parrots, magpies, owls, budgerigars, and various smaller species. At night, you might also spot and hear possums, along with rabbits, hares, and the occasional kangaroo.
It's a comfortable 139-square-foot tiny house that is easily accessible and close to a beautiful old ash tree, offering shade during the warmer months. Its panoramic views of the mountains and gently sloping terrain create a perfect ambiance for unwinding and rejuvenation.
Complete with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and a gas-heated shower.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Our property is home to 20 or so sheep which migrate to various parts of the property during the day including around the tiny house. For light sleepers, we recommend bringing earplugs for a peaceful and restful stay.

Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surroundings. Moreover, we kindly ask guests to respect and avoid crossing the fence into the residential section of the property.

By public transport:
There is no taxi service in the area that I know of, and unfortunately Avoca does not have regular public transport. The closest town that has regular public transport is Maryborough , which is 20 minutes away.

- Charcoal BBQ Grill is available
- Breakfast is available for an extra cost
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Please dispose of your cigarette butts properly
- No open fires and BBQ grills allowed during fire season
- No smoking allowed inside, except in designated areas
- Telstra has a good signal, while the rest have weak signals
- We also provide outdoor tables and chairs and two tree hammocks
- Pets are not allowed on beds and sofas, and clean after your pet’s droppings
- Please clean up after your pet’s shedding before checking out in courtesy of other guests
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
