The Space:
The Edge of Nowhere - Chestnut by Tiny Away is situated in a rural town within the Pyrenees region, just an hour's drive from Ballarat. It is well-known for its Victorian architectural heritage and popular attractions like Sovereign Hill and Lake Wendouree.
The farm stay is in a secluded corner of the property and nestled at the base of the Pyrenees Ranges. It is situated right beside a chestnut tree that overlooks the seasonal creek. What's more, we are close to Avoca Hotel, an hour to Grampians National Park, and other nearby towns including Stawell, Halls Gap, and Ararat.
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.
IMPORTANT NOTE: We would like to advise guests that there may be occasional noise from other visitors during the day. However, the nights are quiet except for the sounds of animals. For light sleepers, we recommend bringing earplugs with you to ensure a well-rested stay.
As an added note, This property overlooks a creek, which may affect access during high water levels. Chestnut has an alternative exit, but guests are advised to check the creek conditions before arrival to ensure easy access.
