Profitez de vos vacances tout en vivant parmi les manoirs de l'avenue Tuckerman. Le grand pont donne sur l'acre de terre pour jouer et profiter tout en face de l'obus de Purgatory. Second Beach se trouve à quelques pas de cette maison. Second Beach propose des locations de surf et de paddle board. À distance de marche de la plage d'Easton. Après une journée à la plage, visite de la promenade Cliff ou des Mansions Bellevue (1 à 2 miles) visite le centre-ville de Newport, env. 2 miles pour de merveilleux restaurants et magasins. Tall ship, Jazz Festival, Folk Festival et plus encore!

Cette maison ouverte moderne avec des plafonds cathédrale offre beaucoup d'espace pour se divertir. Été nouvellement meublé de 2016, toutes les salles de bains ont été récemment rénovées. Parquets en bois, cuisine ouverte, salle à manger et salon. La chambre principale a un lit Queen et une salle de bain complète. 2ème chambre a un lit Queen, 3ème chambre a un lit double et 2 lits jumeaux. La 4ème chambre comprend 2 lits doubles et 2 lits jumeaux (l'un est un lit gigogne). Asseyez-vous et détendez-vous. Emplacement familial.

La maison comprend la climatisation au premier étage. Grill sur le grand pont. Cuisine entièrement équipée avec micro-ondes, cafetière k-tasse, grille-pain, lave-vaisselle, vaisselle, ustensiles, verres, casseroles, TV par câble, accès Internet, tous les draps, serviettes de bain, serviettes de plage et buanderie.

Great Beach and Newport Location!

The house location and grounds are fantastic, with great beach and downtown Newport access. The huge lawn and plantings are kept meticulously well and the house is set between two gigantic mansions right next to the beach. You can hear the waves crash. Inside, the house is adequate but unremarkable, and we had a few issues with moisture and musty smell in the downstairs level, inadequate lighting, and a very high step coming up to the entry door (hands over knees for a couple people in our party). Cooking supplies are at a minimal level and the furniture is sparse and not very comfortable. The space is open and has a lot of unrealized potential to feel more homey and be better furnished and supplied. Next time, I would bring more of the creature comforts of home with me. The shortcomings of the house were made up for by the location and I would consider going back for that alone. Five stars for location and three stars for the house itself.

Annual Rhode Island vacation

Nice space , facilities, location. Easy walk to beach. One safety issue should be addressed: the front steps include one (the lowest) that is about 2-3 inches higher than the others and was uncomfortable and felt risky. I think it should be remedied as soon as possible.

This was our second year staying at this great house. We were 2 families and none of us had any complaints. Walking distance to Second and Third beach. Easy walk to 1st beach and Cliff walk. House is equipped with everything you need. We would love to go back! Janet D

Brilliant July 4th week

Our family (47, 43, 10, 6, 2) and friends (44, 42, 11, 6) had a wonderful stay at the house. It has plenty of room, is bright and open… a real beach house experience. Very convenient access to the beach, and has heaps of beach toys, boogie boards, beach towels, etc. The lawn games were a particular favourite of our party, and we spent loads of time with the kids playing and rolling down the hills. The kitchen is well equipped with all the staples you’d need, making it feel very much like home. And finally, access to shops and restaurants in Middletown is very easy, and Newport just a short 3-5 mins drive. We did many trips in, including to see the fireworks in Newport harbour (which we would highly recommend). Many thanks to Cheryl and Kim for being such great hosts and for the wonderful stay. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful home! It was an easy walk to the start/finish line and we were able to cheer on the marathon runners from the front yard:) Also a short walk to the beach and a very comfortable home-thank you!

Girls Trip

The living room furniture could use an upgrade and is not comfortable for extended use. It was raining a lot during our visit and we therefore spent more time inside then we would have liked. The windows in most rooms don't open because of window AC units. Kitchen isn't fully stocked for cooking. They were very responsive to questions and needs during our stay.

Wedding Week

Beautiful area, great neighborhood close to beach which was perfect for seeing the sunrise. Opened the door to a beautiful open living space, large kitchen and large dining table which sat 10-12 people. Nice master bedroom with bathroom and large closet. The house was perfect for our needs. Unfortunately I didn’t get to enjoy the house as much as I would have hoped with all the wedding preparations and activities but all in all it was a wonderful stay. I would definitely recommend this home and the host was a pleasure to work with. Thank you for your hospitality.

great family getaway

The house and property fit us well. We were an extended family of 8 adults. The location was perfect! Walking distance to the beach was fantastic and driving to Newport or a few wineries in the area was super easy. We really loved the location. The large dining table inside was perfect for eating and playing games. The deck was fantastic and large enough for all of us. The only negative on the deck was there were not many cushions and the furniture could've been in better condition.

Terrific location

For those who love Second Beach it doesn’t get any better than this rental. A short walk to this beautiful beach is all it will take. The house has a great layout and good sized bedrooms. The property manager Kim is so responsive and wonderful to communicate with. We had a great 2 week stay.

Excellent Family Vacation!

First time staying at this lovely property. Excellent location to 2nd beach and short drive to Newport. House was very spacious and accommodating for our family of 10 adults and 2 children. It was equipped with just about everything you need for cooking and laundry. Outside deck was an added bonus. Cheryl and Kim were both available to answer any questions we had. We hope to return next year!

Amazing House

My family just had an amazing stay at this beautiful home, just a very short walk to Second Beach. Check-in was so easy, and we were even given a welcome bottle of wine. The house was stocked with the basics, but then extra amenities were also provided and so appreciated! Games, boogie boards, beach chairs and toys, spices in the kitchen, every cooking utensil you could ever need (even lobster claw crackers) restaurant menus, cable tv, ..I could go on and on. The grounds were so beautiful you could film a movie there. You can tell that the owners wanted their renters to enjoy their stay to the fullest…and we did! The property manager was available immediately whenever we had a question, no matter how small, and that was very much appreciated. Overall, our first time staying in a VRBO was exceptional…hard to top!

Absolutely gorgeous!!!

This house was perfect for us all getting ready the morning of our wedding! It was perfect location from where we did our first look at Purgatory Chasm right across the street. Everyone was super accommodating and the house did not disappoint! Cheryl was great leading up to the stay and made sure we had everything we needed! Thank you so much for helping make our wedding day as perfect as can be with all the rain we got!!

Highly recommend

Location was great for wanting to spend time in downtown Newport but have luxury of space. Very clean, great sleeping arrangements for large group. Spacious living room and parking for multiple vehicles. Unfortunately did not get to enjoy the outside due to weather conditions but would be ideal during warmer months. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Easter Weekend Family Getaway!

We spent a long Easter weekend at Cheryl's property and had an amazing time! Best location in Newport - walking distance from 1st and 2nd beach, Purgatory Chasm and many restaurants on Aquidneck Ave. We were a large group - 3 boys under 10, father-in-law and our au pair and the house was perfect size for all of us to have fun and not be in each other's way. Can't wait to back this summer!

Family Thanksgiving for 12

Three generations from New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Maine, ranging in age from 17 to 80. Two swam in the ocean! Lots of walking, visiting historic sights and watching World Cup. We had a spectacular time and a wonderful Thanksgiving feast in a wonderful house that could accommodate all of us!
