It is an old folk house where you can experience the life of a farmer in Japan. The scent of wood and tatami mats, a bath of tiles. You can experience the nostalgic life of Japan people in the Showa era. It is refreshing to ride a free bicycle through the streets of Edo, shrines, and the Tone River. There are also izakaya restaurants and Japan soba restaurants in the neighborhood. You can also have a BBQ in the garden. How about a bonfire while looking at the starry sky and airplanes? You can also rent fishing rods, so you can cook your own fish caught in the river or make juice from vegetables from the field in the kitchen.
Great host!!! If you want to experience life in the country this is it!
We stayed here to experience life in the country of Japan. There are rice patties all around. Easy walk to a convenience store but we were able to get everything you needed. Walking distance to a train station that can take you anywhere in Japan. The host was very knowledgeable about everything around us. I highly recommend people to stay here to experience this part of Japan.
This place was one of the highlights of our trip. Well stocked and gorgeous old architecture. The kids loved it. Can't recommend it enough. The hosts are super generous and accommodating, even insisting on driving us to the airport. The cat was great, too! Looking forward to visiting again!
