We enjoyed our stay in Hana. The location was beautiful and convenient. We divided our trip to Hana into two days and so glad we did. We would love to stay in Hana longer next time.
no sheet for the pull-out bed and the renters above us were SUPER loud. When staying at a place like this a little noise is expected but these renters started running and talking loud with kids running outside at 6am. We only stayed over to get good sleep before checking out more Hana stuff the next day. AND the fan light randomly came on in the middle of the night waking me up in master bedroom.
Only stayed one night, but the place was clean and comfortable. We brought food with us and everything we needed was in the kitchen to cook.
We would have stayed longer, but thatâs a pretty stiff price for a night.
I wouldâve enjoyed it a lot more if it didnât rain the entire time. Of course it is a rainforest and the grounds are beautiful and the scenery is gorgeous
A very nice value on the Hana coast! We were surprised how spacious the one-bedroom condo was. Big living room with pull out queen bed, king in bedroom, two lanais, weâll stocked kitchenâŠeven good local coffee. Wi-Fi was also surprisingly strong.
Check in was super-easy with lots of aloha.
I highly recommend it!
Awesome. After the long drive on the road to Hana, settling here for the night was pure paradise. The view and vibe is amazing. Not a lot of space, but perfect for a completely laid back feel. If we stayed for more than 1 night, we likely would not have wanted to leave, ever. Highly recommend staying here if in Hana.
Travel expectations vary from one person to the next. With that said, my family and I are rather low maintenance when it comes to travel. Even with us being low maintenance, this place was perfect. Comfortable beds, hot water for showers, amazing location, picture perfect views, and a welcoming management staff all made for a fantastic stay. Would definitely stay here again!
Our stay was perfect! The room itself was very clean and we had partial view of the ocean. It was conveniently located and near major stops on the Road to Hana (Waianapanapa State Park was 10 min away and the final stop, Pipiwai Trail in Haleakala National Park was only 30 min away). The staff was so helpful and even followed up with us after our stay when we thought we had forgotten our phone charger in the room (we later found it in our luggage!). The black sand beach on the premises was such a treat and the grounds are beautifully kept; we really enjoyed the coy fish and fountains throughout.
We were very pleased with our stay. no AC wasnât a problem with lanai door open. Nice products in the bathroom. Comfortable bed. Overall, the unit felt very spacious. My only suggestion would be to improve the lighting inside, especially the kitchen. I felt myself straining to see when working in there. All in all, a great stay at a well-equipped property!
Our family of four (3 adults and a teenager) stayed a night after driving the Road to Hana and exploring Waianapanapa State Park. After enjoying a beautiful sunrise on the beach in the morning - just a few steps from our room - we hiked the south side of Hana in Haleakala N.P.-Kipahulu section. Morning is Perfect for beating the
crowds. Unit 104 had everything we needed, was very clean, the pullout, master bed & pillows were amazingly comfy, we loved the little area off of the master bedroom to sit outside and the lanai was so wonderful with a great view of the water and pretty landscape! Leave the sliding doors open all night and fall asleep to the ocean waves - so peaceful - We Highly recommend this location!!
Beautiful property with polished wood features, bay view, large outdoor dining area. Access to beach at foot of property. Would be perfect for one couple but to cut costs our two couples made use of the sofa-bed to convert lounge into one bedroom. Sofa bed comfortable and large enough (I'm 5'10") but very squeaky. We walked the 16 minutes to dine at The Ranch for evening. Hosts provide comprehensive pre-arrival information about local attractions. Arrangements were made for our late check-in. Lovely, quiet town- wish we'd stayed two nights rather than one to allow time to explore other beaches. We booked 3-6pm entry to Waianapanapa Park...an absolute must!!
I had taken the road to Hana many years ago, and being older now, felt some hesitation about embarking on the driving adventure. And it is challenging, and not everyone seems to follow the rules of etiquette. But it was well worth it! This unit is right on the beach, well, more of a black volcanic rock shore. Not safe for swimming, but breathtaking. We also enjoyed nearby Hamoa Beach. The unit itself is fabulous, with superior crafting, materials and design touches. We loved the window panels would could be arranged for fresh breezes from the ocean through the main living area and into the bedroom. And everything was in good working order. So restful and refreshing to be there. The onsite manager was very friendly. The food trucks are amazing! We enjoyed Huli Huli. On the way back, sure enough, there was a dicey moment when a flatbed tow truck (we wondered who was the unlucky person needing the service) blazed across one of the one-lane bridges before we had fully exited (we were committed) and passed by seemingly with about six inches to spare. But by then we'd had, and treasured, our Hana experience. As a bonus, we stumbled on a surfing competition just before Paia on the way back. Altogether, the back-and-forth trip to Hana was magical.
This was my first experience staying overnight in Hana, but it wonât be my last. The property is beautifully situated on Hana Bay with a lovely black rock beach to the left and a more traditional sand beach to the right. I rented a one bedroom unit with a king bed and sleep couch and was very pleased with the view, the cleanliness of the room, the supplied amenities for cooking, and the convenient location of the property to the beach and the things to see in town. The property is accurately described as older, but well-maintained, clean, and give you a nice vibe of the early days of tourism in Hawaii. I was worried about no air-conditioning but shouldnât have been, even with the 90° day we had there the sea breeze and the fans in the room or more than enough to keep us comfortable and admittedly with the windows and screens open better connected to the sounds and sights of the ocean. If you want a totally unobstructed view of the ocean try to get a room in the lower building, or a room on the upper floor In the upper building. You might be tempted to think the rooms are overpriced because they have no climate control, but this is Hawaii and it is Hana where rooms are very limited. The staff was very friendly, helpful with local directions, and with quick responses to my communication. In summary, if you want a quiet, peaceful place to grab a bit of old Hawaii charm with excellent views and quick access to the towns offerings I highly recommend this property.
Beautiful, manicured grounds, apartments with full kitchen, friendly staff. Cleanliness is our top priority. Unmatched views of Waikaloa with hundreds of coconut trees. Sleep to the soothing sound of the ocean washing over the pebble beach.
Each unit is individually owned and unique in decor. Owners work together to keep a high uniform standard in each room. All units have a full kitchen, 100% cotton linens, high quality amenities, spacious covered lanai, naturally cooled by our ocean breeze, free wifi, in-room safes.
