Villa is situated in the heart of Siesta Key. It's a spacious, clean, tidy and having an outdoor gardens was great (with a barbecue). Bus transit to town just outside your door. Pool was a good size but may need a little bit of maintenance. We would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone else.
This is in an area of 75 stand alone condos. There is a roomy great room and 2 rather small bedrooms. We enjoyed the private patio area. It is a long walk to beach access, but the trolly goes every 15 minutes and has several stops. The tv has a small screen, but who goes to the beach to watch tv?
We have been vacationing in Florida for nearly 30 years and this has been our most disappointing. Our 3-week stay was enjoyable but the condition of the property left much to be desired, especially for the price we paid. The property needs major major upgrading. A good place to start would be the 30-plus year old dishwasher that didn't work at all. Also, due to the hurricanes the previous fall, I specifically asked about the condition of the property and was communicated "everything has been repaired and is brand new". This was not the case. There were many issues that we communicated to the owners. They were prompt to respond but these issues should have been addressed before we arrived. A few of the issues were: mold on the bedroom wall; floor not cleaned under the appliances from the hurricane; outside of the windows filthy from the hurricane; water lines showing the depth of the flooding on dining furniture that weren't cleaned; interior doors peeling from the flooding damage. We did request a minimal refund but were refused. The owner offered to "fix" the issues but we didn't want workers at our rental for days while we are on vacation, especially for basic things that should have been completed before our stay. The location was great and the neighborhood residents were very friendly. We talked to many of them and were informed of the hurricane damage and flooding that took place.Overall, the property was "OK" at best but nowhere near the price they asked.
We enjoyed our stay at Polynesian Gardens and David was a great host and easy to communicate with. The property was as advertised, check-in was easy and the pool was terrific. We would definitely consider renting here again.
We had a lovely stay at Siesta Key. We found the beds to be comfortable and David and Sarah were very responsive to our needs, while remaining discretely out of the picture, unless we needed them (extension cords helped to address the electrical socket gap, for instance).
Check-in to the house was very easy and we were pleased to find a tasty bunch of seedless grapes waiting for us when we arrived. The living room furniture was comfortable, though low for our needs (using an extra cushion helped to solve the minor issue).
The house is in a quiet area with other houses around adding to the neighborhood feel. The pool is lovely and shared with the other residences. The one thing we didn't find was a 3-ring binder having information: directions to the beach, trash/recycling pickup arrangements, list of restaurants and menus, nearby grocery stores, other area attractions. We found things by exploring the area and looking online.
We had a very nice time here and we found the house and the area to be just what we needed to get away from the snow and cold for a while. Thank you for the use of your beautiful home!
We enjoyed our stay, owners were great with communication and the house was clean and perfect for our beach vacation!

Great location for a beach vacation!
Owners were great people and quick to respond when I had questions. Clean and roomy home with a private backyard that had a beautiful pond and fountain. Definitely would recommend this place for anyone who wants to be close to the beach. â€ïžâ€ïž
