The condo is comfortable with a great layout for two couples. Comfortable beds, new appliances and kitchen is well stocked with cookware. There were beach chairs, coolers and beach towels for our use. (Also an umbrella, although e did not use.)
We had a wonderful week on the fifth floor of the east tower. The building and condo are as described. Very clean, kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few times, comfortable beds, stairs and elevator took about the same time. WiFi worked great. Watched Netflix without issue. Pool was heated and chairs were always available. Walk to beach was across the street and then across the parking lot. Trolley into the village or 1.3 mile walk. Sunset was second to none! We would stay again!
The complex and location are great. The unit is not worth the money. Very unclean poor bathrooms and kitchen lightning tiles falling down dust in all appliances and window blinds that have fallen off are just thrown behind couch. Food stains on wall yellow stains kitchen lights full dust dirt. Running toilets and shower heads that unscrew. Nice views nice complex but not worth the money for the unit.
We were so pleased with everything about our stay here at Our house!! From the location and views to walking distance ( we love to walk) to various places! It might mot be moderalized but that didnt matter cause it was very clean and had all we needed! Even beach chairs to umbrellas and a cooler! We would definitely stay again!!
Check in and check out was so easy. The condo was very clean and spacious. The pool was convenient and the location is perfect. Right across the street from the beach and just down the road from the village.
Everything was as expected. The condo was just right for the price, perfect location to everything, quiet, and easy in and out. We had one maintenance item that was quickly resolved at our convenience. We will be back.
I enjoyed the apartment and was there with my two best friends from high school. The only issue experienced was the fact that the only person working at the downstairs office couldnât answer any of my questions about helping me with the lock box and also when my friend from Venice came over there was no way to buzz him in but other than that I had a great time.
Thanks
We decided at the last minute to head to FL. A friend recommended Siesta Key, and it was well worth it for a family with 3 teenagers! The kids could go to the beach anytime they wanted (directly across the street) and the pool was always an option. The FREE trolly is basically outside the complex which takes you to the village where all the bars/restaurants/stores are located. There were a few wonky things in the condo, but the management company responded ASAP. The kitchen has brand new appliances but the rest is a throw-back to the 80's. Bathrooms are from the 80's, as well, but function just fine. I loved the balconies for the ability to sit and read and have cocktails! It was a plus to have a washer & dryer in the unit. The pool was fun - met lots of nice people - and there is great grill and covered area to eat.
Spring Break vacation with 18 year old daughter, her friend and 10 year old son. Vacation in Siesta Key at least once a year. Pros - Location is perfect for teens, right across the street from the public beach (volleyball, tennis and pickleball). One mile from the village (long walk or quick golf cart ride). On-site tennis courts, pool and grilling area are all very nice. Layout of the condo is ideal for family/group of 4-6. Wrap around deck is great for relaxing. Newer washer/dryer and stainless kitchen appliances. TVs and WiFi are sufficient for streaming (if you plan to watch TV on vacation). Kitchen was equipped with all basic cooking utensils. Closet had a few nice beach chairs, noodles, toys, etc. Overall, the condo was clean and they did offer additional parking spots if you rent a golf cart.
Cons - Could use some updating, specifically in the kitchen and bathrooms. Doors did not match up and would not close properly, countertops/faucets dated and lighting was dingy. Typical for some Florida rental units, the furniture was dated and mismatched, but all clean and functional.
For the price, would definitely stay here again. Five star unit if additional updates are made.
We always enjoy our stay at Our House at the Beach. Just being across the street from the beach is worth it. Weâve stayed at this complex in several different units. This one didnât have an ocean view but we enjoyed not hearing all the traffic noise that we usually have when having an ocean view. Also, this one wasnât updated but it did the job. The King bed was comfy, plenty of beach chair and it was quiet.
Great property . Great location. Kitchen missing key things like zero frying pans only pots. Dining room table out of place. No kitchen waste basket under sink. The table should be under fan light off of the kitchen. One can walk right into the pull down chain and a tall person could walk into the fan. Kitchen and bathroom counters and cabinets are tired original from 1981. Low water pressure possible clogged screens. No gulf views.
We stayed in unit E-503 and was quite disappointed when we first arrived. The unit smelled of cigarettes upon arrival and the outdated furniture was dirty from stains. We had to put sheets on the furniture to cover the dirt. After walking on the floor barefoot, the bottoms of our feet were black from dirt. The kitchen had to be the smallest kitchen of any condo I have rented. More than one person in the kitchen was crowded. The new refrigerator was too big for the space and you couldn't open the dishwasher completely. The dishwasher door would only open enough to load the top rack. You needed to be nimble to put anything in the bottom rack. It did have a new washer/dryer.
The stay was great! The room was exactly what we expected based on the photos and description. The location was great. There were a few maintenance issues while we were there, but they were addressed very quickly each time.
The first walk through unit my travel partner found a used sanitary napkin in laundry basket, toilet in master bath would run intermittently until lid was lifted and chain was jiggled, both bathrooms in need of update. Vertical blinds in all rooms were difficult to open and close. Pool was lovely but it services too many buildings (3) and was crowded unless it was very early in am. Only 1 wine glass for unit that is suppose to fit six adults. Did enjoy balcony and furniture in living room was comfortable
Great location, many maintenance issues however. We had to have maintenance people in the unit several times to fix things which was annoying.. The unit is pretty dated. The pool area was nice and location to the beach was great.
