The Space:
Kawal Tiny House by Tiny Away is located at the entrance to the main property and set back in a secluded area to ensure your well-deserved privacy, surrounded by native bushland, gum trees, and rock formations that blend into the landscape.

A comfortable Wollombi accommodation of 139 square feet, both an hour's drive away from Newcastle and Sydney. Nearby Wollombi Tavern, Pokolbin State Forest, and only a 30-45 minute drive to Stonehurst Cedar Creek, Bistro Molines Hunter Valley, Mount Bright Lookout, and Hunter Valley Wildlife Park are just a few of the attractions available.

All with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities including an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers) for your use.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surroundings, except the land host's private residence or main property. The main property is fully fenced and we ask that our guests do not come on to the main property unless invited to do so.

The Neighborhood:
Kawal Tiny House by Tiny Away sits in the historic town of Wollombi, both an hour's drive away from Newcastle and Sydney. A village with several great restaurants, cafes, artisan stores, and a famous pub for visitors to casually hang out. Along with numerous walks and trails to explore, all within a less than 1 km walk to the village.

Discover the best of the Hunter Valley during your stay. Take in sweeping vineyard views from Mount Bright Lookout, then enjoy refined French cuisine at Bistro Molines. Wander through Pokolbin State Forest for a relaxing bushwalk or drop by Wollombi Tavern for a local meal and a cold drink.

Meet native and exotic animals at the Hunter Valley Wildlife Park, or sample boutique wines at Stonehurst Cedar Creek and Noyce Wines, both family-owned vineyards with welcoming cellar doors. By public transport: Please note that there are limited public transports available. We recommend guests to travel by private car (or rent-a-car) to our property. Thank you.

Other Things to Note:
- Wifi is currently unavailable
- No smoking allowed on the property
- Pets should always be kept on a leash
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- We also have rescue dogs separated by a fence from the tiny house, all of which are friendly but may bark when they first meet you

Important note:

- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- Please note that the tiny house is located about 50 metres from a cottage that is rented out privately on a permanent basis
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
