A Weekend Relax-cation!

Our stay at The Blue Cottage was fantastic! It was so quiet and "away from the city" as we wanted! A quiet, country stay - this is exactly what we wanted!! The property is beautiful and we were provided with anything we could need! This cabin is beautiful. Plenty of room - Marlene made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Could not have been more pleasant!! We will be back soon!!!

Wonderful Cottage

Wonderful Cottage. Lovely stay for us. Lots of at home amentites. Great View and feels like home. Loved the light and airiness of the cottage. Very clean. Host was very communicative. Great getaway!

Loved it!

This was an awesome house to stay at in a very quaint area. The house had everything you would need and a lot of extra comforts. Marlene was great to give recommendations for the local places to go. I would definitely rent again if going to that area!

What a great place to stay. The cottage was very clean. Bed was comfy. I was amazed at the amount of "extra’s" that were on hand and provided by the owner. If we had forgotten something at home, I'm sure it was already stocked at the cabin. If you're into Bluegrass, don't miss the dinner and music special at T.B. Suttons. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Wonderful getaway!

We were looking for a quiet weekend getaway and this property was perfect! The house was well stocked and very tidy. There is a great view from the back deck of the water. I would highly recommend.

Marlene was super nice and she had everything a person needs when traveling but might forget. Everyone was friendly in town. Knowledgeable and friendly. Wonderful place to visit, great restaurants. Town of Granville was interesting, excellent place to visit, Blue Grass music broadcasting at the Sutton store was an amazing experience.

Perfectly quiet, secluded stay

Looks exactly like pictures. Everything was nice, clean, and comfortable. Very secluded, but perfect if you want a true getaway. Stores and restaurants are about 20 minutes away, but you can grill out or cook indoors. Perfect escape for 2!

Perfect for two people. It was spacious and beautifully decorated. Marlene is an excellent hostess. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, listening to the sounds of the Cordell Hull lake, and hearing the thunder roll during spring storms. It is a beautiful setting in beautiful country. Thank you for sharing this wonderful place with us and our dog.

PERFECT

I just left a review on the Evolve board, but want to say that everything was perfect during our stay, I have zero complaints. This is one of my very favorite places that I've stayed in between BnBs and VRBOs. I marked it as a favorite and will absolutely be returning. The Wonderful Blue Cottage

We loved our stay at The Blue Cottage. It has everything you can possibly need and it is beautifully curated and just so cozy. Everything is tastefully thought out. Communication with the owner is exceptional. Visiting the town of Granville is very interesting, but you need to check their days and hours of opening. Centrally located for short drives to any towns or state parks you might want to visit.

Wonderful stay - Blue Cottage

This is a beautiful place - the front porch is inviting and gives a great view Of the water then the mountains. We were given a special - better than IMAX - view of lightning storm. It was spectacular in so many ways. The host is thoughtful, detailed, and spared no expense appointing the cottage. They truly want the guests to be at home. We hope to come back to this cottage, and Eastern Tennessee soon.

Beautiful, secluded, exactly what you need to unplug!

We didn't realize how far off the beaten path this place is for us City folk but it was worth it! I awoke to multiple deer in the yard and surrounding field! You have a clear view of the river from the living room and back porch which is absolutely invigorating. The house was so clean and well appointed. We didn't lack for any supplies like towels, kitchen items, paper towels, and etc. We encountered a small problem with wasps on the deck when we arrived but the host showed up and took care of it right away. The hosts are wonderful and friendly ppl. When you mention where you're staying in town, everyone knows who the host is and where the home is. This place is ultra dog friendly, too!

The Wonderful Blue Cottage

The Blue Cottage is perfect for a get away to the middle Tennessee area, being centrally located to many interesting areas. The town of Granville is a fun town to visit, with lots of history. Just be sure to check what days the buildings are open. The cottage is beautifully decorated and has everything you could possibly need. Just so cozy and comfortable! Communication with the host is just the best if you have any questions. The screened in porch is lovely for sitting, with a view of the water and hills across the way. We really enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful

Our stay in the Blue House could not have been more perfect, from the hummingbirds outside the kitchen window to the deer in the back yard. We enjoyed relaxing on the huge screen deck overlooking the lake and enjoying the peace and quiet of the country. Marlene is an excellent hostess. She checked on us when we lost power. The house was well stocked with everything you could possibly need, including make-up remover and lovely soaps and lotions. We felt pampered.

Pre- Valentines Day getaway

We rented the cottage the weekend before Valentines. We loved this little Blue Cottage. It was so homey and cozy. They thought of everything games, puzzles, random little things, snacks and bottled water. The very sweet lady Marlene messaged me to see if she needed to have the lights on for us. She told us about things going on in Granville, she was helpful and so nice. We enjoyed our stay so much we have already reserved it again for April. I highly recommend this place if you want a cozy get away with a view of the lake this is your peaceful place. Thank you, Melissa B.

Perfect

My daughter and I were doing a campus tour at Tennessee Tech, but didn't want to stay in a hotel room while we were visiting... We wanted to find a nice place to stay that was unique. I saw the ad for the Blue Cottage and thought how nice it would be to have a private space overlooking the water for a couple of days. I want to say that I was thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness, the attention to every single small detail, and the host was incredibly accommodating to every request and need that arose during our stay, including checking out late. The cottage was the perfect size and the decorations are so adorable, the space was perfectly cleaned / sanitized and there was not a single thing we needed that was not made available to us. I give this 5 stars only because there aren't more. I'll be adding this to my Favorites and look forward to staying here again in the future when I come back to visit my daughter after she starts at Tennessee Tech in the fall. Thank you so much to Marlene for your hospitality!

Better than we imagined!

This adorable bungalow surpassed all our expectations! It is beautifully furnished and appointed and stocked with so many wonderful items. The host is very accommodating and welcoming. Thank you - we couldn’t ask for more!
