This modest home is perfectly located just a stone's throw from the center of town, and the main beach is only a 5-minute walk away!

Three spacious bedrooms, one upstairs with its own balcony with views of the ocean, this property sleeps up to seven guests. Spacious yard with large deck, ideal for a BBQ dinner, relaxing and plenty of space for the kids to play! Pet friendly with enclosed yard!

On the ground floor you will find 2 bedrooms, kitchen, dining, lounge, sitting room that looks over the garden, laundry and main bathroom. Out the back is a huge yard with deck and outdoor dining space with BBQ. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed, bedroom 2 has two singles plus trundle bed.

On the second floor, you will find a large bedroom with ensuite, queen bed, balcony with some views over the ocean.


PLEASE NOTE: The garage is not available for guest use.

- Bed linen and towels provided, please BYO beach towels.
- Unlimited Wi-Fi
- Pets are welcome, please BYO pet beds, bowls etc
- Strictly NO PARTIES, HENS/BUCKS, SCHOOLIES.
- There is split system heating and cooling downstairs, upstairs has a free-standing fan, but no air-con.
- the spa function is the main bathroom does not work

Matching Green is a great little older property and does come with a few minor aesthetic imperfections but nothing that will affect your stay!
GENERAL: All bookings are accepted on the basis that you have read, understood, and agree to abide, and be bound, by the Terms and Conditions and House Rules. Please treat our home as if it were your own. Please be respectful to our lovely neighbours. Strictly NO smoking at this property. Our home is NOT suitable for schoolies, hens or bucks parties. You must be over the age to 25 to make reservation at our property. Please follow parking guidelines where provided.

CHECK IN/ OUT: Check-in time is not before 3pm on the arrival date and check out time is not later than 10am on departure date. Late departure is subject to prior arrangement/availability and extra charges will apply. Check in and check out, contactless check in will be provided with key safe codes. Keys must be returned to the key safe upon checking out. If the keys are not placed back in the lock box a management fee will apply for us to allow housekeeping staff access to the property and if required replacement of keys.

UNAVAILABLITY: If the property becomes unavailable for your occupancy due to unforeseen circumstances (eg. fire, storm, damage, etc) then we will inform you immediately and endeavour to obtain suitable alternative accommodation for your stay, if we are unable to do so, all money paid will be refunded in full. Host on the coast will not be liable for additional accommodation costs in the event of these unforseen unavoidable circumstances.

PARTIES & FUNCTIONS: Parties are strictly prohibited. Breach of this will result in immediate eviction without refund and extra charges will apply for any additional, cleaning, garbage removal, repairs which may ocurr. We have the right to evict any guest during their stay if WE deem them to be in breach of the house rules.

LINEN AND TOWELS: We supply all bed linen and towels. They must be left where supplied in the bedrooms or bathroom on departure. Further linen may be hired upon request prior to arrival. Properties with pools will include pool towels for your stay. Any damage or stains requiring additional laundering or replacement of linen will incur a charge or replacement fee. Stays longer than 1 week may request a housekeeping service for cleaning and/or linen servicing charged at a fee.

YOUR OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: You are responsible for damage, breakages, theft and loss of the property and any part of it during your stay. You must notify us of this immediately if damages occur. We may recover from you repair or replacement costs. Occupancy must not exceed the agreed number booked for or the maximum listed as occupancy in the house description. Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise at anytime (day or night), is prohibited and may result in termination and eviction without refund and extra charges may be made for security and other expenses. Noise should not be heard from outside the property after 10pm. Call outs: Lost keys/lock outs will incur a $100 call out fee for management to provide access plus the cost of replacement keys if required. Upon departure, all food must be removed from fridges, all rubbish put in the appropriate council rubbish bins provided, crockery and cutlery washed and packed away, dishwasher emptied. If there is a BBQ onsite, it must be cleaned after use, failure will incur a $100 fee. You are responsible for removing any excess rubbish that does not fit in the outside bins. Excess rubbish charges will apply for any rubbish that is left behind (exceeds rubbish bin capacity). The Property must be left in a clean and tidy condition. Extra cleaning charges will be incurred for the cleaning (but not limited to) of dirty dishes, dishwasher emptying, emptying the fridge, removal of excessive rubbish and so forth. All furniture and furnishings must be left in the position they were in when you arrived. Smoking is not permitted in the Property. A $400 fee will be applied to any property found to have been smoked in. No illicit drugs to be brought onto the property or persons under the influence to be allowed onto the property. You must allow repair/service access to the property during reasonable hours. Host on the Coast is not liable for any damage or loss of property during your stay.

Great family getaway

House was well situated; handy to shops and beach. Furnishings and fittings a little tired but functional. Quiet and peaceful and love the views to the beach from the upstairs bedroom.

Great location but dated

Big house but everything was very dated. No fan upstairs as was indicated and it was too hot to sleep there. Beds were so uncomfortable. Time to upgrade your furniture. But great location

Quiet, spacious and nicely located

Very nice and quiet place fully furnished with plenty of space in a nice surrounding. Beach at 500m and shops at 100m. Deserves a recommendation

Great location

Great location! But the house is tired and needs a lot of TLC. People write a review for a reason. To Give feedback. There is no point doing reviews if the host doesn’t fix or take on board customer feedback. Have stayed in many accomodation and this wasn’t up to satisfactory condition.

Get some new furniture.

The beds were terrible. The couches dirty. The shower screen was broken. Basically the place contains old dirty furniture that should have been thrown out.

Disappointing and left early

The listing states "a few minor imperfections, but nothing that would affect your stay"We found matters that included ...Dishwasher wasn't working correctly- soap container didn't open during the cycle, and the rail for the top tray was broken, making it very difficult to load.There was peeling paint in the kitchen,particularly around the sink with accompanying mouldThere was a water leak in the downstairs toilet.A blind in the main living room had no cord so had to be manually rolled up and down.Old food was found on the floor of the living room.The couches were stained, covered up with throw rugsThe carpet on the stairwell and main bedroom were stainedThe shower screen door in the ensuite is broken, and jammed when I tried to get out of the shower recessThere were no towels for the main bedroomThe gauze door to the back verandah doesn't slide and is difficult to operate
